I invite the economists and social thinkers in the house to enlighten me with this little analysis. .I'll be brief and simple as possible. In 2011, price per barrel of crude oil was $109 prepared against $65 on the budget (surplus) and the pump price was increased from #65 to #97 on the premises of subsidy. In 2015, price per barrel is $45 and the prince of UAE threatened that the day of over $100 has gone and will never come back again so as to see how many Shales company that will close down (that literally a competition between US owned drilling agency and the Middle Eastern). Our budged was prepared at $65 while the pump price was decreased from #97 to #87. My questions. 1. What analysis was used to increase the pump price to #97 in the 2011 when there was oil boom and the state was at surplus? 2. Why the sudden review on the pump price to #87? 3. How does the FG plan to support the budget if the crude oil never sees $65ppb at which its been prepared? 4. When there was oil boom, the president said "stealing is not corruption" I guess because the money to steal was readily available, with the current state of the economy and the unknown faith to befall it, will Mr. President concur that stealing is corruption? 5. When the economy was booming, the FG was unable to maintain major public properties and thus sell it off, now that there is nothing to sell, will the FG start privatizing the Government House? |

Now that the ppb is $45 he reduces it with #10, the amount which has no impact, whereas it ought to have been incresed has you've rightly said but he dares not! |
