At the peak of his career, after over 25yrs of service, he will be a warrant officer earning a little over 100k with 4 children to cater for while his mates are mostly in their senior managerial role, majors and captains earning nothing less than 1mil per month.

There are two different sectors, Commissioned those that got employed with their degrees/master Degree, their pay is okay about 160k for Freshers, and the Non-commisioned the one the OP is trying to do, he only needs his SSCE, about 30-35k for Freshers.

The OP should look at the kind of course he got, if its very lucrative, he should forget about Air Force, and be very prayerful. He can still apply for short service of 'Commisioned' after attaining his degree.
