Tip of the day: For ladies with extremely oily skin that primer can't control, please try milk of magnesia. You can get it at the pharmacy.

Just use it as you would use a face primer before foundation application. Works like magic.

For dry skin, please always moisturize your face.

Sorry beauties,

I have been very busy. We are currently working on a new organic skin care line.

Like I always say, the most sensitive part of our body is our skin. Why don't we treat it the right way? We feed natural good food yet we feed our skin chemicals?

Our skin needs the gentlest care. Different skin types- dry, oily, sensitive, combination, normal, reacts to skin products in different ways.

Research has shown that the most effective and healthy way to take care of our skin with long time benefit is by using natural products.

Our organic skin products are specially formulated with pure natural ingredients with a unique blend of the finest organic essential oils to give your skin the natural freshness, softness, moisture and glow it deserves.

We also have ones specially formulated to cure different skin conditions like stretch mark, acne, eczema, rashes, sun burn, etc.

We will be launching hopefully before the month runs out. Will bring you more details.

Will post more make up tutorials soon.

Stay beautiful!

@May, Good job but you need to work more on the brows.

The foundation is her skin tone but it's light. Would work for an everyday make up though.

You didn't line her lips before applying lipstick or did you?

The gele is not so fantastic. The steps are not neat and well aligned. The fans are both inside and not showing. The fans and steps brings out the beauty of gele.

So you need to work more on the gele.

@ Mamzii,Mary Kay foundation should work for you. But before your foundation application, make sure you moisturize your face with a good face moisturizer.

@ Hurpe, you conceal first before foundation application. Cover up the spots, eye bag, and blemishes before using foundation to seal. If you apply foundation first then start concealing, it won't look neat and flawless.

Zaron contour kit is between 2,800 and 3,000 depending on where you buy.

Don't understand your question. Please rephrase.

Concealer application.

There are different types of concealer but the 3 most common are stick, liquid and cream concealer.

Liquid foundation: It works well for oily skin. Easy to blend and doesn't cake. Helps to cover up blemishes.

Cream Concealer: It works for dry and normal skin. It provides medium to full coverage and comes packaged in a small pot, palette, or compact. Cream concealer works well under the eyes and is one of the best concealer options for covering severe discolorations.

Stick Concealer: It works well for dry skin and sensitive skin. This type of concealer can be dotted on or swiped on and then blended. It helps cover acne and can be used under the eye area, the corner of nose and corner of lips.

Concealer application tool: Fingers or small concealer brush.

Concealer is applied after using the face primer . It is applied under the eye area, the corner of the lips, corner of the nose, to cover acne, blemishes, dark spots and discoloration.

It should be properly blended. Foundation is applied after concealer application.

@ Sugar coated, Zaron products are good. I am one of their distributors. I sell both wholesale and retail. For concealer. The next lesson will be beneficial to you.

@ Chiomzy, I can't explain how to tie double gele here. Video would have helped more but I don't have video tutorials on gele tying yet. You can come to our studio to learn how tie, both single and double gele.

@Inyinya, first use face primer preferably oil mattifying face primer before applying your foundation. Then use products that are water based(oil free).

It is advisable to always test your foundation before buying. I can only guess and it might not be your true shade.

@ Savigne, ok dear. You are welcome here.

@ Mamzii, for dry skiin, use compact powder. You can use Classic mineral compact powder either colour 2 or 3. Most likely colour 3.

@ Chig, for eyebrow, always use brown eye pencil. It looks more natural. Black pencil is a no no. Airwoman colour 18 for fair people and colour 03 for dark people. Or just work with your hair colour. You can also use eyebrow filler to fill in.

Then for highlighting under the brows, you need a concealer that is 2 shades lighter than your skin tone.

For tools, you need angle brush, Q-tip and mascara wand basically.

Sorry I have not been able to post any tutorial yet. Quite a busy week for me at the studio.

Stay tuned.

@ Mira, I recommend Classic oil mattifying foundation for very oily skin. But if it's just normal oil skin, Marykay medium coverage foundation is lovely.

For oily face too, use loose powder instead of Compact/pressed powder. Zaron loose powder, or classic loose powder is nice.

For concealer, I recommend L.A girl or Milani secret cover.

Watch out for my next post on applying concealer.

Oh my. So so beautiful. Proud of you Monick!

The only thing I want to point out is that the concealer you used on TOP of the brow is visible. Always blend it out. Not so nice letting it show.

Practice more. I love it!

At Monick, must be from the brush you use. Do you use blending brush?

Okay. Just saw this picture. This is the perfect description of what am trying to explain. Not so visible highlight but it's reflecting.

Especially used for bridal makeover.

Not sharp yellow. Kind of whitish. Whitish colours.

And you will make it tiny and blend out. It's the reflection that is beautiful.

Let me send you pictures so you understand what I mean.

It's lovely dear. I like it. Matches your hair colour. It looks natural.

Did you highlight?

Little trace of highlight looks lovely when it shows below the brow. And you can set it with a little yellow, silver or bright shadow.

Practice more to make your arch sharper.

Foundation application:

Foundation forms the base of your make up. Apply your face primer before applying foundation.
To get that flawless looking make up, you have to choose a foundation that totally matches your skin tone.

Test 3 shades of foundation that is likely to be your skin colour. Choose the one that is your skin tone even before blending.

For foundation application, there is basically 3 method you can choose form:
with your fingers, with a sponge, or with a brush.
If you are applying on yourself, you can use your fingers but when working on someone, I prefer using a sponge(beauty blender). It gives it this airbrush effect and natural look. Makes it easy to blend for me.

When using a sponge, wet it a little then apply the foundation. It should be well blended. No noticeable lines should be seen where your foundation starts/or ends. It should blend smoothly into your neck and hairline.

Set your foundation with powder.

Okay. After shaping the brows. Shape by cutting only the extra hair. Brush down, cut off. Brush hair up, cut off.

Once it's trimmed and in place. You are good to go! Don't shave off the hairs.

Then start outlining from the bottom.

Tip: always follow the natural hair then gradually curve.

Then outline the up to meet the arc. No much gap between the 2 from the arch down. Then fill in.

Practice will make you perfect. Try with as much ladies as possible. Gradually you will master it!

@ May, Your brow is lovely but the highlighting is not well defined. Not well blended(the left brow)

The only highlight that should show is at the brow bone(the tail end/below)

Then your right brow arch is higher than the left.

Please what part is difficult for you to get when drawing someone else's brows? The outlining or highlighting?
