Hello ladies am back. Sorry for the long silence.

@ beads lady: your eyebrow is nice but it has a box In look. Try and fade the beginning part so it looks as natural as possible. Then brush up your brows with mascara wand so it's not from the brow you created.

@ Sugar: you are improving on your art. But your brows are thick from beginning to end. It should start thick then gradually thin out. Your concealer shouldnt show on top of the brow. If possible use concealer your skin shade for the top, the 2 shades lighter for the bottom which is the highlight area. Noticed your foundation or powder in one of the picture was too light. Foundation or powder that is your skin shade should blend effortlessly. 4th picture is very lovely if the look is intended for a fahion show or photography make up.

@Perfect choice: Love your eye make up. But can't see your edges to evaluate. The second picture, your foundation didn't blend into your skin shade. Always remember to clean up inbw brows.

@Mamzii: you can use stick concealer like you would use a lipstick if it's for personal use. Dab it on the spots or areas you want to conceal.

@ Savigne: your make up is lovely esp your lip make up. I like your arch but your brow is too thin at the start. Improve your strokes measurement.

@Cleo: Love your gele. Your brow is nice but you need more work. Put in more effort. Your eye shadow is ot properly bleNded.

@Peawizzy: Yes absolutely. You can use milk of magnesia first allow time for it to dry. Do your brows as you wait then go back and apply your face primer.

@ChoCho: Nice traditional make up. But your right arch is too elongated. Lip outline too bold. Did you use a lipstick or lip pencil?

The quest for a brighter and even skin tone...

We live in the tropics where the sun is so scorching and harsh. The impurities in the air...the pollution we encounter every day.  All these affect the organ where our body is housed- the skin.

The skin produces more melanocytes in the ares exposed to sunlight and that increases melanin which is what makes skin darker.

If you yearn for a brighter, clear and even skin tone, you have to be informed about the steps to take to take care of your skin and protect it from the environment we live in.

Beauty Regime:
•Maintain a healthy diet: Nourish your body from within for an overall well being and a healthy skin.

•Take Vitamin C supplement: Vitamin C 1000mg helps eradicate all free radicals that makes our skin look dull.

•Exfoliation using body scrub: This is a very important step as it helps shed off dead skin cells and products penetrate easily on an exfoliated skin.

•Moisturize : With oils or moisturizers paying attention to your skin type.

•Hydration: The benefit of water for our overall well being can't be overflogged.

•Protect: Protect yourself from the harsh rays of the sun as much as you can, stay out of the sun but if you must, please do wear a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Skin Care Products: Use products with mild naturally derived brightening agents like vitamin C, citrus peel/oils, lactic acid, liquorice root extract, papaya extract, cucumber extract, kojic acid, etc.

These ingredients regulate melanin production and are all antioxidants as they can reduce the free radicals that stimulate melanocyte activity.

Our skin cells regenerate every 28days so be patient when using natural products because any product that whitens you in days will definitely have adverse effects on your skin in the future.

Get a brighter, clear, and glowing skin the natural way.

You can moisturize with any good moisturizer. I prefer using light oils like grapeseed or jojoba oil. The trick is to apply when skin is slightly damp to lock in moisture.

And when you apply on slightly damp skin, you tend to use less oil.

You can always throw in your questions.

For better results, do not towel dry. Apply oil when your body is slightly damp to lock in moisture. You will be hydrated for longer.

You can moisturize with natural oils like jojoba oil, grapeseed oil or apricot oil.

It penetrates fast and doesn't leave any greasy feel.

Some actually think it is bad idea using oil to moisturize an oily skin but it's not. When you moisturize with fast absorbing oils, your sebaceous gland produces less sebum(oil).

But the type of oil you use for this really matters.

Healthy tips for oily/acne prone skin.

Acne is one of the most common skin condition. If you are struggling with pimples, zits or acne, you can take a few steps to conquer it.

You have to know the cause of a problem in order to treat it. Two main causes of acne: bacteria and excess oil secretion.

So your best bet is to fight the bacteria(demodex mite) known to cause acne and reduce the oil secretion of your face.

•Using natural oils/extracts that are anti-septic, anti-oxidant and anti-bacteria has proven very effective over the years.

•Moisturise your face(it tricks your sebaceous gland into secreting less oil).

•Do not pick your pimples, it causes inflammation and black head. Let it heal naturally.

•Do not over wash your face. Stick to 2 times a day because the more you wash off your natural oil, the more oil secretion you have.

When using skin care products on your skin you can ask yourself this: Would I eat this?”.

And if the answer is “no” then how can it really be a healthy product for the biggest organ of our body: the skin.

It still absorbs what we put on it so why use what we don't need in our body system?

Join me as we discover natural and yet very effective ways to pamper our skin to get the desired glow, softness and clear skin we all crave. If you are in indicate below.

@ Deola: Nice. But you need to work your outlining. It's too flat. No curve. It starts from your first stroke. Go through previous tutorials and see how to measure and get your arch right.

Then after filling in, work on highlighting with your concealer for a neater and precise brow. Then always remember to blend out. Good start!

Lip colour application.

For this you need:
•Lip brush
•Lip pencil
•Lip stick
•Lip gloss

First apply your lip pencils to outline your lips. You can apply your lipstick without a lip brush but when you are working on someone else, using lip brush is a must.

After lipstick application, smack both lips together if you didn't use lip brush(which helps in blending). Then apply your lip gloss starting from the middle of the lips and then spread out. Use less lip gloss if you have big lips.

For more artistic effect, you can use 2 shades of lipstick with the lighter one inside.

Your brow's width is almost the same size from start to end. It should gradually reduce in size or thin out as it nears the end from the arch down.

@ Gloria: it's okay. I just uploaded a picture. Take a good look at that and go back to the previous pages too view my eye brow tutorial. I can't see your arch. Your brows is just there no art. Make up is an art remember. So use your pencil and sketch some art. *smiles*

@Angel: I don't recommend shades for people because I wouldn't know your skin shade.

Tip: for highlighting, choose 2 shades lighter than your true skin shade.

@ Queen: you really tried but your make up is too heavy. Your brows is too heavy and you cat eyes not in the right position. Use brown pencil next time probably airwoman colour 18 or 03. But really nice try. You improve with constant practice.
Fashion / Re: Learn Make Up Artistry For Free Here by MaraCruiz(f): 10:38am On Jun 24, 2015
@Gloria: your brow is nice but your concealer is not well blended.

@Lara: your brow is okay but too flat no arch at all. Please allow your brow to grow back then shape well. Do not shave off your natural arch. Refer to previous pages to know how to measure where your arch should fall in.

@ Sandra: your brow is okay but you wiped the starting point way too much. I know it's nice for a natural look but when it's wiped much, doesn't look nice.
Fashion / Re: Learn Make Up Artistry For Free Here by MaraCruiz(f): 10:33am On Jun 24, 2015
@ Sugarcoatted: cream to powder foundation glides on smoothly with a creamy feel and dries to a silky powder finish. You mightt choose not to use powder. But for normal foundation, you have to use powder to set the foundation.

The choice of which to go with depends on personal preference.

Yes matifying powder provides a matte finish and good for oily skin.

Sorry for the late response. Been extremely busy.

@ Inyinya: you can still benefit from the milk of magnesia. It's 1k+ and you can get it at the pharmacy. Might help with the sweat. Then, try making up in an airy and cool atmosphere. Don't make up in a stuffy room.

@Imma: Always sharpen your pencil before you draw any stroke. Keep your hand straight (not shaky) and follow your natural hair line. It will help if your brow is already well shaped. Then if you stray, don't worry you can always correct it with your concealer when highlighting.

@Mary: note my comment for Imma and Inyinya above. Then you can use Milani secret cover to conceal your spots.

@Sandra: Loose powder is powder in loose form not pressed or compact. You will know oil mattifying foundation by reading the inscription on the foundation pack. Oil mattifying foundation will always use words like "oil free", "mattifying" "water based" etc

It shows that the water content is higher than the oil content of the product.

After outlining your brows, you can use the filler to fill in like creating imaginary brow hairs.

Zaron brow filler comes with a tiny brush and you can use that to fill in.

It's just like creating strokes with pencil.
