IMPLICATIONS

The trend towards the privatisation of health services, reflects a growing use of private sources of finance and the growing proportion of privately owned fee-for-service providers and facilities. Fee-for-service methods of reimbursement aggravate the geographical maldistribution of personnel and facilities, and the competition for scarce personnel resources aggravates the difference in the quality of the public and private services. Thus the growth in demand for these types of providers may be expected to increase inequality of access in these two respects. The potential expansion of medical scheme coverage is shown to be limited to well under 50% of the population, leaving the majority of the population without access to private sector health care. Even for members of the medical schemes, benefits are linked to income, thus clashing with the principle of equal care for equal need. The public funds needed to overcome financial obstacles to access to private providers could be more efficiently deployed by financing publicly owned and controlled health services directly. Taxation also offers the most equitable method of financing health services. Finally, attention is drawn to the dilemma resulting from the strengthening of the private health sector; while in the short term this can offer better care to more people on a racially non-discriminatory basis, in the long term, health care for the population as a whole may become more unequal and for those dependent on the public sector it may even deteriorate.

This is same option as petroleum Engineering. Additionally, you may what to know what compose natural gas, properties, application and it formed. Sometimes, the questions are so practical and highly industry based. In the industry SI units are not used. American unit of Cubic feet , Psi etc are used. U may wanna know how to do conversion back and forth

@All, the past questions for individuals courses are not really around except when they were theory based. What is in common place is the general questions which are mostly current affairs in section one. I think last year was even different. What mostly came out was English plus a few maths questions ( to be confirmed). This section is only 20% of everything. So I just want you to know what you are up against.

What you should ask is to know the area each individual course concentrates it's question's on. Then find introductory book online to work at it.

Haven't said that, I hv only seen two real exam type question in ptdf yanked from the computer on the exam day. This one in not available in the public domain. I am not sure anyone that has it would send it to you. Don't read astray please

I taught, it is a general question, or are u saying questions from area of concentration will be in the MCQ.

Please I will like to know if last year scholars, did theory, because I knew that they did cbt,.. Just want to ask if theory was there too

There is no cause for control, everything is under alarm. LOL. Don't worry, you will be fine. Different schools tend to name their programs differently. What is more important is the curriculum--will it address your academic goals? If it does, then you are fine! Good luck!
