She will be the one to sponsor her mother’s trip. and I will be the one to invite her. Here is my question:
1). 3k pounds is sitting in her account, like how much can she use to sponsor her mother.
2). My mother-in-law, has 500k savings in her account. But all her trips will be fully sponsored. Is that enough?
3). What kind of reason can we present to display the importance of her visiting us. Although the real situation is, that I’ve got a 3 months internship that requires me to travel to another city for almost 5 hours journey. So I want her mother to come so that it will be easy for my wife to manage her work and daughter. Childminder fee is not a joke.

Please note: She’s working in one of the universities in Nigeria. She’s got a deferred leave letter to use. So she is genuinely going back.

I need experience and how to file for her without any issues.

Kindly the images attached, please can explain what that ST 33.3 says. I’m confused too.

This is your own law "Once they discovered that your funds as the main applicant have depreciated, the dependant will be denied and the main applicant visa cancelled". Don't say what you don't know. If dependent are applying separately, the main applicant does not need to show POF . So it is expected that even if the main applicant got visa and has traveled for over two months, his fund should still be intact? What should he use to pay rent and settle in.

Hello my people… I just have time to read Nairaland now, finding feet in this UK is interesting and demanding. I think it will be selfish of me if I couldn’t contribute my own quota of information I got concerning this issue.

Yes they are very competitive, same reviews I got last year. But I prepared for them by applying early. If you joined the race 3 months to resumption. You are on a long thing. You will wait tire!

Yes, you can. However, you must print the same period for the two statements. So if you are printing from 1st May 2021 to 30th May 2021 you print the exact same period for the two statements (bank accounts)

How am I going to print the statement for this case. when I have money in Nigeria account already counting days for the pof and I’m waiting for a payment into my dorm, and it entered on the 10th day of my 28 days counting. How do I go about it when I want to use the two statement

You can decide to pay your deposit before getting your unconditional offer. Please note that it not compulsory. What is mandatory is that you must make a deposit of £1500 before you get a confirmation of offer letter.

Husband name: Ralph Hurley
Wife name: Jane Hurley-Baker

Please don't go to Teesside. They will collect your money without allocating CAS to you. Then tell you to wait after three months or more before you will get your fund back or their finance team will not even respond to you at all after payment.

Can you please elaborate on what really happened. What was your choice of course to study. Did you obtain ATAS before processing CAS.


What can be the issue? Does it mean nobody is getting it for now.

Please, I will like to confirm if University of Hull accept NECO (Eng) as proof of English Language Proficiency or Its better I get a letter from my Undergraduate Uni stating my first degree was in English?

They don’t accept any of the above, only WAEC and IELTS they accept

Student support was poor but the main challenge I had was when I had to do my dissertation. Chemical Engineering just had two labs in the chemistry building. Had to beg chemistry to use their apparatus. Another issue was lack of lab partner, which delayed my experiment for a month. At the end of the day, it didn’t even work because modifications and cut corners to the original method were too much

I’m looking at teeside because of the number of months, I believe it will give more time to settle and have more time before they could ask for tuition balance. My thought tho, I don’t know if it works like that.

Hello my people, I’ve been following this thread from page 4, which I decided to start the processing for me, my wife and a kid.

I’ve got admission from University of Hull - £9000 (2k initial deposit)- One year

On the other hand I got with Teesside University - £7,500 per year (4K initial deposit)- 18months. For first year £5,500.

Please, I need opinion on which one is better and easy to make my wife and kid join me. Considering jobs opportunities and other essential factors.

How can I still get the 5 points under partner?
