The guy did not even waste time. I'm quitting o. I can't wait forever. You can't even do anything on the system
Exactly. What's worse? Taking a picture of the screen would have meant violating the exam rules, a risk I wasn't willing to take. Anyway, after trying to login again, I kept seeing 'you're not scheduled bla bla'. Wahala for who be jobless Nigerian oo

That's what we are facing.
I faced the same issue. After clicking more than 20 times, I quit the safe exam browser. Thought I was the only one experiencing it.

Thank you for taking your time to write...This has been really helpful.

There about 5-8 Universities offering Masters admission pertaining to my course of study.I have researched about majority of them.

1.Brandon University:It offers masters admission into the department of ''Rural Development'',I searched their website, I couldn't get the Eligibility requirements,so I have mailed them regarding that...( I am not putting much efforts on this because I don't believe it will fly, telling the V.O I want to go to Canada just for the development of the rural areas, what economic value would that add to me in the real sense.

2.University of Saskatchewan:Offers ''Agricultural Economics'' (It would have been a perfect program for me but it requires a Supervisor) this is out of it.

3.Dalhousie university (master of Agriculture; Business and Social sciences). It requires a Supervisor too

4.University of Guelph (master of Food, agricultural and Resource Economics)
Requirements:minimum 70% (B-) average over the past two years in a four-year honours degree in Food,
Agriculture or Resource Economics (or
in a field of economics)...

I don't have the above qualifications too.

5.University of Alberta (Agricultural Economics/Rural Sociology and MSc
agricultural and Resource Economics) this needs a supervisor too, although this is what I saw on their website
"Please note that it is NOT necessary to identify a potential supervisor prior to applying for admission to graduate programs in the Department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology"

Please how true is the above?after gaining admission,if I don't get a supervisor, what will be the outcome?

Local man is really tired.
Good morning brother. I'm also a recent graduate of agricultural economics, still serving though. I graduated with a 4.40cgp with about an av of 4.70 in my last two years of study. I'm looking to start this process in the coming year. I sent you a DM request, please respond.

It’s better you don’t waste your application fee. Don’t let that grammar confuse you because definitely before they finally accept your application you MUST identify a faculty member willing to supervise you.. so you see, it’s as good as securing a supervisor before beginning a formal application. I advice you to make sure you secure a supervisor before you apply so you can be on a safer side, but Godforbid no one accepts to supervise you after you have applied, that means your application fee is gone. Kindly contact potential supervisors in your department, if they give you a positive response very fine go ahead with your application, if they don’t.. then save your money and check other universities, as they can’t offer you admission without you identifying a supervisor. I was once a victim!..
Thank you @Dera12345. I'll do as you said and start working on my my applications while waiting for my transcript. I really appreciate your time. @Trizadove, can I send you a pm?

Thanks juleskiki for making out time to respond to my enquiries. I am very grateful. Still on the matter, for those that have applied to programs that don't necessarily require a supervisor, can I apply to Saskatchewan and still get a funding?
Course- agricultural economics
Cgp: 4.40
See pics below. Thanks.

Greetings to everyone on this platform. I have been a a follower of this thread for some time now and have been continually astonished at the level of relevant information being passed here and by the help being rendered. I humbly wish to tap from the wealth of knowledge of everyone here.

I am a graduate of Agricultural Economics from the the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. I completed my program October last year with a cumulative GPA of 4.40 and about 4.70 in my last two years of study. Currently, I work at my uncles company (we're into importation of household items) while waiting for service.

I intend going for a masters in ag.econs in Canada, hopefully by September of 2020. From my research, I've found 2 schools which I plan on applying to (however, I intend adding one more to the list). They are:
University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon and
University of Alberta, Edmonton.
NB: these schools specify that securing a supervisor before applying is not compulsory.

Now, I have a few questions.
1. Can I apply to these schools without first securing a supervisor and still be considered for funding?

2. How competitive are the schools above and what are my chances of being admitted given my profile above?

3. I plan on begining my applications as early as possible against September next year. When will be considered too early or late to start forwarding my applications?

I must also state that my clearance has not been fully completed due to the recently called off strike and as such my transcript and statement of result are not ready.

I really do hope my story is not too long and boring. I await useful nuggets and guidelines from y'all in the house. Thank you in anticipation.
Please everyone, I'm still waiting for answers to these questions.
