The young man you see on the picture above is by name Abutu Mohammed. He is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Idah and works with GIG Logistics Warri Service Center. Like every hardworking Nigeria youth, Mohammed had resumed duty on this fateful day; 17th September 2018. Little did he know that the day was going to be a day of brutality for him. According to Mohammed, a customer who happens to be 2nd lieutenant with the Nigerian Army identified as "2nd lieutenant Aye" had come to his office to pick up a parcel which was sent from Uselu; Edo state to Warri; Delta state. He(Mohammed) had tracked the parcel and discovered that it was created at Uselu on the 14th September with no departure scan on it. In a bid to resolve the issue, he contacted Uselu Service Center who informed him that the parcel was sent through a 3rd party resulting in the delay. He pleaded with the customer(2nd lieutenant Aye) to come back later in the day while he goes to get the parcel. while Mohammed returned with the parcel, he was told that the customer had stormed the office with fully armed military men and made away with his colleague. He put a call through to his colleague and informed him he had come back with the parcel. On arrival, the customer (2nd lieutenant Aye) unleashed his full military might on him for "wasting his time". Mohammed was made to "swim" in a drainage nearby and was subsequently beaten blue back by the fully armed military men. In his words "the slaps were countless, same as the kicks. I was flogged mercilessly with a cable". Nigeria could be everything but not a Banana Republic. Someone should wake me up and tell me the military has not taken over. This is what a lot of Nigerians go through in the hands of some reckless military men who always paint the military in bad light suggesting that they are inhuman, ill trained and brutal in a typical civil matter. The Nigerian Army as at last count is one of the outstanding institution yet to be desecrated by our dirty politics. the military authority should as a matter of duty launch an investigation into this matter in a bid to restore sanity in this sacred institution. It is one of my patriotic duty not to allow the labor of our founding fathers go in vain. I call on every well meaning Nigerian who still has the interest of this nation at heart to keep sharing this post until it gets to the appropriate authority or the people in a position to bring this man(Lieutenant Aye) to justice. We must rise up against reckless abuse of state power. GOD bless my country Nigeria.

This government is only good at obeying the court when it comes 2 nullification of elections in PDP controlled states. Aside that, the APC government does not believe in the rule of law. All I see is impunity evrywhr
