I can't blame you cuz you became a Christian before you even know how to speak, write, talk, walk, question, decide and making accurate choices by yourself. Faith is real and that is why Oyedepo had to flew his wife abroad when she was sicked. That alone led to her sudden disappearance in the church that it was so obvious to the congregants. But what happened when she came back, she was given the microphone to anchor a sermon that cohere a healing caption.

In religion, nobody question the whys and the hows. Religious authorities are unquestionable.

Injustice against Royal Chess Club Members
Chess is a noble game. Chess players are hardly in the news for the wrong reasons.
Yesterday, i made my way to see a friend at one of the local chess clubs (Royal Chess Club ) in Kubwa, Abuja. Club members often meet after the close of work around 5pm at 2-1 Garden, Kubwa, Abuja.
Abuja is structured around gardens. Before you walk a kilometer or two, you will most likely see 4-5 gardens.
The experience as narrated by Mr. Yemi owowa:
"Yesterday, 10th April 2017, There were ten (10) players there present playing chess at Our Royal Chess Club, 2-1 Garden, Kubwa, Abuja.
Five (5) policemen came into the club arena and told us all to sit on the floor. We have never experienced such before since the inception of the club. With fear in our minds, we obeyed and sat on the floor without questioning. A 52 year old man (David Bamidele) stood up to speak to one of the officers, only for him to receive a heavy slap from one of the officers as he ordered him to sit back on the floor or face his wrath.
Few minutes later, we were ordered into the police bus without knowing the reason for our arrest. Club members who came in their cars were told to get in their cars and they drove us to phase 4 police station, Kubwa, FCT Abuja.
We were at the station for two (2) hours without knowing why we were arrested. Later, we were asked to show our identity cards, which most of us presented to the officers while we were remanded at the counter for no offense committed. We tried reaching our relatives to come through for us but the officers stopped our relatives from getting into the police station.
They grumbled and murmured among themselves and released us while they remained unapologetic. To our dismay, we were told they collected the sum of N17,000 from some of our relatives and the manager of 2-1 garden before we were released.
All we ask is for Justice to be served. These set of men who arrested us for no reasons whatsoever are a disgrace to the Nigeria Police Force.
We will appreciate if you can help share this on your social media platforms till it gets to the right authority. If corruption is to stop, it has to start with men in the uniform.
We are calling on Individuals and lawyers who might be interested in our case, to help take it up seriously till Justice is served.

Justice must be served as this is unacceptable.

Another thing that has been observed is that pastors are now turning the church and ministry into a lucrative business. Pastors live luxurious lives where as their members are struggling financially. The type of luxury these pastors enjoy are what their members can only dream of. Pastors are building universities that their members can't even afford yet these sheeples would never learn. As far as I know, the early church shared all their belongings and possession with one another and no one lacked anything. In those days, a leader in the church would never have a private jet or a mansion when there are members who are lacking.

No leader of the church or a member of the church in biblical times would be worth millions and billions when there are people with lack in the church. Such is not the case today. Most pastors today cajole and persuade their members into sowing a seed or bringing out money to invest in the church so that a miracle or blessing from above will befall them in return. This practice is so rampant. Such pastors would say that the holy spirit told them that a particular number of people should bring maybe #50,000(the amount depends on the financial strength of the sheeples in general). While collecting offerings, they would ask you to honour God with the highest denomination and amount in your pocket

What annoys me is that these hungry wolves would claim that it is not that they need money but they are speaking as the Lord spoke to them. They feast ravenously on the members money. Some, when they see that the amount they listed is not forth coming, they will say the holy spirit has "changed" that he now permits members to bring the highest amount in their pocket. Many collect money for prayers and the so called "deliverance." They also invent other schemes by which they would extort money from the sheeples.

That's me too. My heart is filled with questions but nobody to ask. Though i can approach a priest (i'm a catholic but these days i now understand that i act n tlk more like a quaker, pple have bastardized christianity) but its a hard call, d time is not even there!
The major reason why i have called christianity to question is because of all these pastors and their gullible followers. No good interpretation of the bible again, pastors n dia pple just quote a part of a verse in d bible n leave out d crux of dat verse/chapter in order to defend dia selfish thinking n brainwash their congregation.
Then u move away frm d church n see d pastor displayin wealth but unwilling to help the real people in need, they teach prosperity but forgot Jesus Christ their model gave out all he had, d only time he decided to flaunt was his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and that one sef he borrowed ni and gave it back after. And their followers be praising the pastors n relegate God to the background, prophesy things. But wen dia prophesies go awol they still defend dem, sayin they r not God, but why play god in the first place!
Until we see pastors as messengers, not authority we are on a long tin and d questions will only keep piling up!
It is well with us by God's grace (but we need to use our will to do that which we think is the right thing, there's a reason why he gave us a will)

I understand you quite alright. Are my observations not sincere? The foolishness, hypocrisy, deception and wickedness in churches are too fatal for me to remain silent and not voice out. Shall we cover up such menace for the sake of new converts and "weak ones" and allow them to be led astray when I could voice out and let them know what is going on? I don't think so.

Questioning the workings of an organised establishment like religion is not a crime.

I was catholic but later, at the age of 8, I went to pentecostal churches. That's just it.

In a dream, my mum saw herself lamenting that what happened before will not happen again. She was lamenting exactly the way she does when we had a particular hardship in the family sometime ago. Then she work up.

One thing I love in what you wrote

Christianity is not about miracles but God did promise to answer prayers but we don't see that in our churches. Instead we see what I wrote happening. Is it not enough to question God and his doctrines? Why does he not give us a reason and explanation for the supposed and seemingly powerlessness of his word so we know where we stand?

The logical and critical reasoning of the human mind are things that we can call a great asset. It is always advisable to embrace logic and critical reasoning. Unfortunately, religion discourages that and in christianity, doubt (despite evidence and it's reasonableness) is a sin. If you were not logical and reasoning critically and a respecter of evidence, how would you know who is deceiving you with any sort of doctrine?

These are a list of things, my spiritual mentors and pastors have said in the past that beats my logical and critical reasoning:
1) God was strengthening Paul's heart by letting him persecute christians. so that implies God could let one unbeliever kill us like chickens to strengthen his faith for his later call.
2) Because God says he will give you a car on a specific date doesn't mean that it will come on that day. Because the powers of darkness can fight. I ask, is the power of Satan greater than that of God? If God knows his word can't come to pass why speak?
3) God tests us to see who loves him. Why will an all knowing God test people? This doesn't make sense. 4) If after your deliverance God should promise something in two months time through his prophets and it doesn't happen in two months time, don't loose faith.
5) if God says something, and it doesn't come to pass don't worry. He is not a human being like us.....
6) if you pray for something, leave it for God don't pray again 'cos it is settled. The same person said again that we should keep on praying and don't stop for God to answer our prayers.

All these they said and nobody noticed but I kept record of these nonsense. One pastor was teaching about faith and he told us that he has prayed to God to heal his eyes so that he stops using glasses. He took off his glasses and said he is no more wearing it. Like play like play, he went back to his glasses some days later and no sheeple noticed it enough to question him.

I used to think atheist were bad immoral people as religion painted it but it appears that reverse is the case.

Another thing I would want to look at is the hypocritical nature in the way people present the way prayers are answered. I observed that people say that after prayer, you must work hard for it to come to pass . If that be the case, then it means that one eventually end up working it out. If indeed you could work it out, why pray in the first place? because it now happens that with or without prayers one must work. So what makes prayer special? What I see are people achieving things that are humanly possible and then attributing their success to prayers. Most of the things sheeples give testimonies about are things that can be replicated by utilising apt knowledge and hard work.

Sheeples are fond of saying "God is not a magician". When they say that, they are using it to escape their inability to believe in the awesome miraculous even though they profess that God is capable of all things. If I may ask, what will you call the separation of the red sea? What will you call Elijah's calling down of fire? What will your call raising of the dead? What will call walking on water? How about an axe head floating? All are miraculous workings that are magical.

Believe me if the story of Moses and the separation of the red sea was not written in the bible and any sheeple was sincere enough to pray to God to separate any of our water bodies in Nigeria for him to pass, many sheeples and their men of God would say things like "don't test God", "God has provided a boat for you", "work it out and build a boat after all, your aim is to cross. God is not a magician." bloody hypocrites we have one bible but yet different denominations. I am getting tired of religion and the sheeples.

I had a dream, a lion and lioness were attacking our home but they could enter since everywhere was locked up. I was observing them and they were looking for a weakness in my house were they could break in. Mysteriously, I obviously the lioness had entered and what was surprising was that it was the house gate which I know was well locked . Her only obstruction now was the fragile net door.

Sensing danger, I alerted my siblings(I am the eldest child) to follow me to my as I took a ladder with me. When we all entered, I looked my room door which is fairly strong for a lion's strength. Under my guidance, me and my siblings made our way through the ceiling just in time as the lion and lioness broke into my room. It was a lucky escape. I kept on directing them on how to move in the ceiling because it was made of asbestos.

When the lion and lioness knew that we were completely out of their reach, they stopped the hunt and sat down in my house as if they had given up. Then, I told my siblings what to do, my younger brother ran away from the house when he came down but I was stuck when I came down so I quickly went back up to the ceiling with my sister(who never came down) and waited for an opportunity to running away from the house.

N.B: it seems the lion and lioness noticed my brother running away from the house but they did nothing much to stop him. It remained I and my sister looking for a better opportunity to run away from the house without them notice.

1. There is only one thing that exists and that is the Almighty God. The Universe is like a matrix of souls. We are all connected. There is no God anywhere else, but us. We can only manifest our godly power according to the role we play in the framework called the Universe. We are all members of God.
Now some parts of God are already conscious of whom they are while the others are still not conscious of it. Whoever is conscious of his godhead, that is the day he/she stops fearing anything. But now it depends on how such person wants to manifest the power of God.

For some, they intentionally want to use their God-power to keep others ignorant and cheat them of their goods and resources. But no conscious part of God can cheat the unconscious part. That's why denominations and religions come into existence. I know I am a part of God and you also know, then I decide to start another denomination where I can enjoy the resources of those who are still ignorant of whom they are rather than remaining under you to pay you tithe and offering. That's too bad.
When atheists say There is no God, they are only saying that God isn't separate from human and they are somehow right and their lives get better for it.

2. We can feel, speak and empathise. God is us manifesting in every ways possible.

3. Our collective power, including the ones we have not discovered yet + the power of the sun, the moon, the ocean currents, tides, gravity, magnetic forces and all energies of the universe sum up to be the power of God.

4. The afterlife, irrespective of your belief, is very very peaceful such that you will not even remember to question and fight back the religious leaders who indoctrinated you. You won't even fight back those who killed you while you were here on earth. You will just be feeling a kind of LOVE. That is where God is concentrated in. When I found myself in one of the afterlives, I lost my fear of death. And if today I don't finish my mission on earth before I die, it's going to be a win-win situation for me, but those who are on earth especially in Africa will have to suffer being enslaved in their minds while on earth as they are already suffering. But then, when they die too, they will smile. But NO, I AM HERE TO MAKE A 'HEAVEN ON EARTH' BY REMOVING FEAR FROM THE MINDS OF THE FEARFUL. Then death and worry will be reduced.

Good observation.....but if I may ask,are you a Christian? And do you believe in God?...........Shit happens and that's true.I'm a Christian and God has convincingly shown me His work in my life...you see everything that happens doesn't have to come from God,most mistakes are from the imperfections of man though God steps in some of the time to make some adjustments for reasons best known to Him.I've always told God that there won't be no hyping,my description of Him will be analogous to His work in my life and I relay it to Him in prayers from the sincerity of my heart.Serving God doesn't automatically transform you into a robot and therefore God doesn't have to take responsibility for all that happens to you. Also there is this thing I've got to know about God,though He can do all things,still He doesn't have to do some things,He is organized and He doesn't flaunt His power.
