Sports › Pierre-emerick Aubameyang Speaks On Winning The Top Scorer In EPL And FA Cup by Marvieduke(op): 9:28am On Nov 15, 2025
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: “The year after winning the golden boot, I was very close to get that [again]. The year after, I think Vardy won the golden boot, and I was one goal behind.” “And I had a chance to score around the last minute [in the final league game vs Watford]. After that game, I went home and my father came into my room and I was crying, because I wanted that title.” “My father said to me: ‘You know, if you are not the top scorer this year, maybe you will have something bigger. You still have games left, maybe you will win a trophy.’ And this happened..” “We went to the semi-final of the FA Cup and I had this in my mind what my father told me, then I score 2 goals. Then we went to the final.. And I score 2 goals.” ‘And I was the captain. For me, it was one of the best moments of my life, because as a player I think this is the best thing you can dream about - winning a trophy as captain. Even if you drop it in front of everybody!”. PUBLIC STATEMENT By Chief Sunny Anyanwu (UGWUMBA), DSP (Rtd) I, DSP Sunny Anyanwu (Rtd), have decided to present a Special Award for the Military Officer of the Year 2025. Out of my modest ₦49,000 monthly pension, I have chosen to donate ₦5,000 to the Naval Officer who had an open and courageous confrontation with the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. That officer demonstrated exceptional professionalism, composure, and discipline. Qualities that reflect the best traditions of the Nigerian Navy and remind us of the high standards of British-trained officers. I also humbly advise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to honor this young officer with the Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) award in recognition of his exemplary service and patriotism. His official bank details should be forwarded through his department for the symbolic presentation. This act is not just a gesture. It is a statement. For 35 years, I endured similar challenges in service and now live on a ₦49,000 pension. Yet, I remain proud to stand for truth, courage, and integrity in uniform. I congratulate this young officer, a future General, and salute all men and women who continue to serve Nigeria with honor. Signed: Chief Sunny Anyanwu (UGWUMBA) DSP (Rtd) Chief Truth 1 Share

I am raising fresh concerns over the extended detention of Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, a native doctor from Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area. The Anambra State Government has reportedly held him in custody since early February 2025, alongside two other native practitioners. Is it a crime to practice traditional religion? Or is there anything we don't know? Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo must end the persecution of these men NOW! 1 Share

Politics › Omoyele Sowore Says Ned Nwoko Should Be Held for Crimes Against A Minor... by Marvieduke(op): 8:11pm On Nov 12, 2025
Evidence now available suggests that Senator @nednwokoforsenate travelled internationally with his now temporarily estranged wife, @regina.daniels, at a time when it is clear that Senator Prince Ned Nwoko travelled internationally with his now temporarily estranged wife, ReginaDaniels, when she was still a minor.https://www.instagram.com/yelesho/p/DQ959TkjgcU APC Senator Prince Ned Nwoko Must Be Held Accountable for Crimes Against a Minor and Abuse of Power The case of APC Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has gone far beyond politics. It now points to serious criminal conduct and gross abuse of power, as revealed by his now-estranged wife, Regina Daniels. According to Regina Daniels, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko 'married' her when she was only 17 years old at a time when she was legally a minor under UK law, where Nwoko remains a registered legal practitioner. Any sexual activity following that marriage would, under British law, amount to statutory rape. More disturbing are Regina Daniels’s allegations that Senator Nwoko introduced her to hard drugs while she was still underage and repeatedly forced himself upon her. These are not mere moral failings; they are serious criminal offences that demand investigation and prosecution. It is unacceptable for Ned Nwoko to continue parading himself as a lawyer in the United Kingdom while facing these damning allegations. The Law Society of England and Wales must be alerted, and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) must begin disciplinary proceedings before the Independent Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT) to determine his fitness to practise law in the UK. We will not allow Ned Nwoko to continue using the now disgraced Nigeria Police Force, his political influence, or illicit wealth to suppress victims, pervert justice, and trample on human rights in Nigeria or anywhere else in the world. Impunity has an expiry date and that date is now! 6 Likes 4 Shares

Politics › Moments Omoyele Sowore Was With Rita Daniels To Secure Sammy West Bail. by Marvieduke(op): 10:23pm On Nov 10, 2025*. Modified: 8:16pm On Nov 12, 2025
Stop Senator Prince Ned Nwoko’s Abuse of Power and Criminal Manipulation of State Institutions While we continue working to secure the freedom of Samuel Ojoegwu (Sammy West), who has been unjustly detained through the influence of crooked All Progressives Congress crooked Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, it is important to alert the public to the senator’s ongoing schemes and abuses of power. Reliable information indicates that Senator Nwoko has deployed substantial funds to elements within the Nigeria Police Force in order to target and intimidate members of his estranged wife Regina Daniels’s family and friends. Acting through corrupt police officials and in some instances attempting to draw in the @NiDLEA he has sought to expand a web of harassment and unlawful arrests. Senator Prince Ned Nwoko allegedly pressured Nigeria Police Force officers earlier today to block Sammy West’s bail, and even attempted to procure the arrest of Regina Daniels’s friends and Mother, Rita under false claims that they were supplying her with drugs. Equally disturbing are credible reports that he illegally intercepted and monitored Regina Daniels’s private WhatsApp communications, paying large sums to police operatives to track her calls and messages. Over 250 of such Whatasapp messages were submitted to implicate Regina Daniels's close circle that he alleged were supplying her hard drugs. In addition, Nwoko is said to have sponsored the fabrication of medical reports from Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja and another private facility in Abuja, in a desperate bid to criminalize Regina Danielss and those close to her. These actions amount to a grave abuse of state power and violation of fundamental rights. The public must understand that the true criminal here is Ned Nwoko himself, a man who married a minor, exposed her to drugs through manipulation, and repeatedly violated her bodily autonomy. We call on the Nigerian leadership to immediately call the Nigeria Police Force, the NDLEA, and also urge the Attorney General of the Federation, and relevant international human-rights bodies to immediately investigate these allegations and to curtail Senator Nwoko’s influence over security agencies in Nigeria. No individual, no matter how wealthy or politically connected, should be allowed to weaponize law-enforcement institutions for personal vendettas. Justice must prevail, and Ned Nwoko must be held accountable for his crimes. 1 Share

With a heavy heart, the Ooni spoke like a father, saying that sometimes, love demands patience, especially when the one you love is still growing into wisdom. He said Regina’s mistakes don’t mean she’s unworthy, but only that she is human, learning her way through the storm of fame and youth. He begged Ned not to let pride destroy what love once built. “A man’s greatness,” Ooni said, “is not in how he punishes, but in how he forgives. Regina is a jewel who needs guidance, not rejection. | Crime › The Painful Memory Of Gideon Akaluka, The Igbo Trader Beheaded In Kano by Marvieduke(op): 8:19pm On Nov 03, 2025 |
🕯️ 30 Years After: The Painful Memory of Gideon Akaluka, the Igbo Trader Beheaded in Kano 💔 Thirty years may have passed, but the story of Gideon Akaluka still pierces the heart of every peace-loving Nigerian. Gideon was a young husband, father, and businessman from Imo State, living peacefully in Sabon Gari, Kano — a place known for its vibrant mix of people from different parts of Nigeria. He was simply chasing a better life for his family. Then came December 1995 — the month that changed everything. A simple household act by his wife, who unknowingly used a scrap of paper said to contain Qur’anic verses to wrap their baby’s waste, turned into a deadly rumour. Within hours, Gideon was accused of blasphemy, and the streets of Kano began to boil with anger. To protect him, the police detained him. But even the walls of a police cell couldn’t save him. On December 26, a mob — including some soldiers — stormed the station, dragged Gideon out, and beheaded him in cold blood. They lifted his head on a stick and paraded it through the streets as if it were a trophy. 😢 That dark day, Nigeria watched a husband and father murdered over a false accusation. His only “crime” was being in the wrong place at the wrong time — and belonging to the wrong faith. The military regime of General Sani Abacha condemned the act. Some soldiers were tried and executed, but many still believe justice was never fully served. The pain lingers because Gideon was later proven innocent. He never desecrated the Qur’an. His death remains a chilling reminder of: ⚫ How fragile our unity can be ⚫ How dangerous mob justice is ⚫ How easy it is for lies to destroy innocent lives From Gideon Akaluka (1995) to Chioma Agbahime (2016) and Deborah Samuel (2022), the story has been the same — innocent Nigerians killed in the name of religion. 🕊️ May Gideon’s memory continue to remind us that peace, tolerance, and justice are the true tests of our humanity. ✝️☪️🇳🇬 1 Like 2 Shares

Sports › Amaju Pinnick Respond To South African Minister Of Sports Statement.. by Marvieduke(op): 2:14pm On Oct 20, 2025
"Go and learn how to talk like a leader." Former NFF President Amaju Pinnick responded to the South African Minister of Sports' statement that Nigeria must not go to the World Cup. Gayton McKenzie added: "I want Nigeria to lose. Another African country should qualify." Amaju said in his reply: 🗣️: "If it is the wish of God that Nigeria should qualify for the World Cup, the South African Sports Minister's careless statement cannot stop it from happening. It is unfortunate to have someone like McKenzie appointed as a minister in a developed, civilized country like South Africa. I know several people in South Africa who are knowledgeable in football matters and who will not speak with such hatred as McKenzie. The South African Football Association (SAFA), I am sure, is aware that it was their mistake (that led to FIFA deducting three points from Bafana) and have owned up to the error. Why then should a sports minister decide to put the blame for the consequences on Nigeria? I would rather say that this minister is an ingrate for not thanking the Super Eagles for defeating Benin Republic in Uyo. He did not realize that if Benin had won or drawn the match in Uyo, South Africa would not be the beneficiary of the Group C direct qualification ticket for the World Cup." Pinnick added that Nigeria was a victim of points deduction in 2018 but did not blame anyone. 1 Like 1 Share

Sports › Romelu Lukaku And His Brother Won't Be At Their Father's Funeral. by Marvieduke(op): 3:02am On Oct 17, 2025
Romelu Lukaku, Brother Explain Why They Cannot Be at Father’s Funeral Romelu Lukaku and his brother Jordan have announced that they will not attend the funeral of their late father, Roger. Their beloved dad passed away in the DR Congo capital of Kinshasa, and efforts to repatriate his body to Europe have been futile. Romelu and his brother were born in Antwerp, Belgium, to Congolese parents, but the pair opted to play for the European nation. On the other hand, their father played as a striker for Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and spent most of his career in Belgium at various clubs until his retirement in 2007, according to Football Italia. Roger died in Congo at the age of 58, and his sons have alleged extortion in a bid to bring back his body for burial. In a joint statement on social media, the Napoli striker and his brother expressed heartbreak that they would not be in attendance when their father is laid to rest. It reads via Instagram: "As you may know we planned to have the funeral this Friday but because of certain decisions being made in Kinshasa will the funeral take place over there. "Our dad passed away on the 28 of September and we as Brothers tried everything to bring his corpse back to Europe but we felt that we were being extorted by some people. If our father was here today he wouldn’t accept it. It breaks our soul for us to not put our father to rest. But some people didn’t want it. We understand know why our dad used to keep us away from a lot of people. God bless your soul." 4 Likes 1 Share

Family › Man Shares His Experiences With A Pregnant Woman Who Gave Birth To Twins In His by Marvieduke(op): 12:38pm On Oct 07, 2025
"Something strange happened to me this morning I'm still shaking 😭 I'm the man in the dark T-shirt. I was on my way to work when I met this lady behind me by the roadside. She wasn't talking, but from the look on her face, she was in intense discomfort. She spent time waiting for a taxi, but due to her condition, no taxi was willing to take her. When I noticed this, I quickly rushed down & pleaded with some people to help me take her to my car. While driving to the hospital, she was restless, crying out, & uncomfortable. To be honest, I was so worried. So many things were going through my mind, like, 'What will I tell people if anything goes wrong?' I increased speed & was very steady & focused on the road; the crying out was getting intense. It was getting nerve-wracking. Just then, I tried looking behind, & I noticed she was trying to help herself deliver the baby. Before I knew it, she had given birth to a baby right there in my car, & she kept saying, 'It's remaining another one.' At this point, I didn't know if I should park or proceed to the hospital, but for sure i was terrified. I had to muscle up all my safety & first aid training to continue the journey. We arrived at the hospital safely, & the nurses were very swift in attending to her. To the glory of God, within a few minutes, she gave birth to the second boy. The twins & the mother are doing very well now, & she wouldn't stop shedding tears of joy & thanking me for my kind gesture. But me? I'm still in shock & amazement. Each time I remember how I drove, I just couldn't hold back the tears that rushed down from my eyes. Thank you, Almighty God, for using me for this woman & her twin babies. Now I'm a Godfather to the lovely twin boys!" #mom #happy #twins #motherhood #testimony 2 Likes 1 Share

Crime › Historic Crime - Man Uses Skin From Human Skin, Faces & Bones To Make A Chair. by Marvieduke(op): 8:36am On Oct 07, 2025
What you're looking at isn't a horror movie prop; it's an actual piece of furniture made from human skin, faces, and bones, discovered in the home of Ed Gein, one of the most disturbing criminals in American history. When police entered his rural Wisconsin farmhouse in 1957, they found chairs, lampshades, bowls, masks, and even a belt, all made from human skin, faces, and bones. Ed Gein wasn't a prolific serial killer, but what made him infamous was what he did with the bodies. Most of his gruesome "crafts" came from corpses he dug up from local graveyards. However, he did kill at least two women, including a local hardware store owner whose body was found decapitated and gutted like a deer. The horror inside his home was beyond anything authorities had seen. Among the findings were a box of noses, a wastebasket made of flesh, and a human face used as a window shade pull. Gein confessed that he wanted to create a "woman suit" so he could become his dead mother, a fixation that would later inspire some of Hollywood's most iconic killers, including Norman Bates, Leatherface, and Buffalo Bill. He was declared legally insane and spent the rest of his life in a mental institution, dying in 1984. 1 Share

Politics › Former PDP National Chairman Alhaji Bamaga Tukur On Wheelchair by Marvieduke(op): 8:18am On Oct 07, 2025
Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, a man who once sat at the peak of power, wealth, and influence in Nigeria. He served as the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa and Taraba States) in 1983, and years later, rose to become the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) between 2012 and 2014. Beyond politics, he was a towering figure in Nigeria’s business landscape — the former CEO of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), a seasoned international businessman, and the Chairman of the African Business Roundtable. He dined with kings, presidents, and captains of industries across Africa and beyond. But today, this is his reality — frail, aged, and facing the inevitable struggles of old age and health. This is the message life is showing us: Everything fades. Power fades. Position fades. Wealth fades. Beauty fades. Strength fades. All that remains are your deeds, your character, and the way you treated others. No human being can escape the cycle of life. It is humbling. It is scary. It is a reminder. So while you still have breath and strength: Live humbly. Love sincerely. Do good without expecting anything. Fear God. Remember that no one leaves this world with anything. May God grant us a graceful old age, sound health, and a peaceful end. Amen. 3 Likes 1 Share
