Anyone other than the enemies of Nigeria supporting the Senate on this should have his head checked. The part of the constitution emboldened above clearly allows for a representation which makes the IG free from any blame. He even dignified the Senate by sending a representative despite knowing he was being invited cos of the case of Dino at hand. "Herdsmen" killing and violence have been on for many months now and he was never invited until Dino had a case with the police. Same thing happened when Saraki was standing trial at the CCT...

For how long will we continue like this? The Senate will hardly invite anyone for questioning If they have nothing to gain from it. The Senate will abandon its legislative duties just to pay a visit to a member facing criminal charges.. The same Senate President that refused to confim Magu cos he claimed Magu has corruption cases declared yesterday that the Senate is with him in the fight against corruption (how ridiculous!)...Does this look right in your eyes?

I'm among the CTLOs deployed in Kano. Most of my colleagues, that are using other banks than ECOBANK and FCMB, have received their monthly stipend two weeks ago. But all of us that are using those two banks failed to receive any.

I have zero faith in the govt, later we will see headlines on how the director of the tax agency diverted the money for his personal use.

Let them utilise the one they have been generating from oil and all other sources since forever, then we will be ready to pay tax. because by then, the tax would be worth it.

I understand but be optimistic I believe our country will be better. Remember building a country is not a one man job it must be a collective effort from each and every one living in the country and abroad.


We don't have any country other than Nigeria, it's our country and God willing those that are piloting the affairs of our dear nation will take us to the promise land.

I still no understand! I am a civil servant and every month I always have deducted from my salary PAYE (abi is that not part of tax?), anytime I pay for something like electricity bill (even though no light!) I always pay along with VAT (is that not also part of tax?). In-spite of all these tax I paid, I still pay fully for my hospital bills, infact I have to look for my own hospital as government hospital is a death zone!
No road to travel upon despite always renewing my vehicle papers.
I have to put my children in private schools as government school is a no go place.
I told you I paid my electricity bills with VAT included but I have to buy fuel everyday for my generator with the attendant noise pollution.
I can list many more wrongs of government and reasons why citizen do not really need to pay any tax.

Pay your tax and all those problems you listed above will surely go away. Government of today is different from government of yesterday. This government means business, have faith and pay I guarantee you your hard earned money will be use to develop our dear country.

I just pity North Koreans. By Article 5 of NATO, if you declare war against the US you have automatically declared war against 27 other countries in the world. This same US has stockpiles of Nuclear weapons that could easily be shipped to their numerous bases in Asia or even Guam. The US of today is not the US of 1940s that would spend years fighting a war. Theyve had plenty years of peace and success to develop far more dangerous capabilities.
