piriton: There is no hospital where a doctor is responsible for carrying a patient into the hospital. You can blame the person's responsible for not being around but certainly not the doctor. That woman is the doctor. The man doing video is very dramatic she never said she was not going to treat the patient. This narrative is just out of anger. Carrying a patient now become a problem to a doctor. Nobody is saying it's her duty but to save life. Normally ambulance suppose to carry the patient from the accident site but we don't have such, atleast someone help she should have do the accident victim a favour and carry him. |

I went through what that guy wrote and I was like, are we for real, see people wey Una dey share country with ooo. You read that and you wonder why Nigeria is as it is.
No be private hospital ooo, no be state hospital ooo nah FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE FOR Federal Capital Territory LMAO 😂 😂 😂
The other one say e sabi doctors that were arrested for treating wounds and stabs. Thank God I left these fcckin clowns.
Imagine being stabbed and rushed to a federal medical centre in the capital city but you were not treated because of excuse akaria. Lol
Things are very different here in Scotland. Nigeria needs serious reorientation walahi.
Experience is indeed the best teacher!!! Please we need people like you to be sharing their experience over there so that others can learn. |
Health › Re: Nurse Refuses To Treat Accident Victim At Federal Medical Centre, Abuja by Masculity(m): 6:29am On Jun 10, 2025 |
DataDoc: Nigerian hospitals are complex.
Technically, the nurse is right.
It is not her duty to bring out the patient from the car. Hospitals employ people called "porters" who it is their job to carry the victim from the car to the hospital bed, among other things.
The nurse's duty is to check the victim's vital signs once he is on bed and then notify the doctor who then clerks, examines and commences treatment.
We all have wrong notion of how public hospitals function.
Unfortunately, the porters who should do the job may be nowhere to be seen or may have a bad attitude. I've seen this first hand too. And the blame ultimately lands on the wrong person.
In many hospitals, the porters are "too big" for the job, yet they won't resign. To get them to do their work is very difficult. Thus, putting the nurses, who are their direct supervisors, in trouble. Perfect example is this video.
That's why I said Nigeria public hospitals are complex atimes. Many things are wrong. That's the main reason why they need the attention of the Honourable Minister. Secondly as humans when it comes to life or death please forget about duty God knows best that He assign you in that position. Please endeavor to save life with the little you can as fast as possible. |

jaephoenix: Did you watch the video, she said it's not her Duty. She didn't refuse to help. And she's right,it's the duty of the porters. I'm a doctor and porters are the ones that lift sick and injured patients to hospital wards. It's not the nurse or doctor's duty. Haba now, someone that's not his 'duty' help with his car to carry a patient it's now a doctor that will said it's not my duty to carry a patient. We are not talking about a duty here it's to save life. Haba why are people like this. Imagine a neighbour said I'm not a fire man so I won't quench fire in your house haba. |

Nigerian Christians seem to have abandoned the commandment to keep the faith. If not for two or three persons God could have damned this country.
On no condition should be support, praise, campaign for or vote someone that is alien from Our Lord Jesus Christ. Death is better.

Ireportlive:

What will Nigeria do with these new increase in oil price revenue, since we are stopping subsidy and Dangote Refinery starts soon
Tinubu is about to become one of the most financially luckiest President after Yakub Gowon and Jonathan and he has experience as former ExxonMobil treasurer,
*No more subsidy means keeping atleast $16 billion USD in our foreign reserves annually strenghtning Naira value This means Dollar to Naira might go back to atleast N350 to _$1
*Using Tompolo and Asari Dokubo as pipeline security, Nigeria might reach 2.3 million Barrels per day this multiplied by new global Oil price , oil royalty from NNPC is about to increase drastically with all arms of government FG State and LGA sharing larger FAAC allocation, Abia State, Kogi State and Benue State won't have a reason to owe workers
. God bless you Sir. |

Ma'am why leave someone that's able to provide AC for you and your children. This is the right time he need you guys. If you abandon him now you have fail and it will hurt you one day when history remember you as person that discarded her husband at the time he needed her must. What would you advice in a situation where a husband loses his job due to gambling and decided not to make any effort in search of another job or business or any legal means of making even little money.
He just wakes up in the morning, have his bath, put on the AC and go back to sleep. Only expecting any little thing the wife can cook to eat? He wouldn't pay any bills, provide anything but very humble helping out with house cleaning and washing.
Knowing that the situation is not funny on the wife and two children.
The wife must struggle to make food available no matter how little for the children, because she can't watch the children go hungry. In a situation like this, when men goes out looking for means of making food available for their children and family, he is comfortable not having anything to offer all the time. Is this the character of a father and husband that loves?
Is this not enough reason to divorce him? |

You don't need vote from Fulani Muslims abi dumahi: Good analysis No.
After Nigerians have been slaughtered like cows in the hands of a Fulani Muslim President for 8 years, only low IQ Nigerians will vote either a Muslim-muslim or another Fulani Muslim. Because, as it is, just anybody can be the NEXT to be slaughtered.
Nigerians are no more as stupid as they think. 2023 will be a big surprise. Even wise Muslims know that Atiku and Tinubu don't care about Allah. So, they hate them for trying to play dirty politics with their holy religion.
It's why they stoned the Tinubu team in Niger State. They know that voting Buhari couldn't save even Katsinans from bandits. They are wiser now.
If Nigerians miss Obi in 2023, their suffer suffer go last well well. Obi is one big opPOrtunity to stop the suffering.
Nigerians, don't miss it. Macron happened in France. Ruto happened in Kenya. Obama happened in US. All these looked impossible before they happened. So, Obi can happen in Nigeria. Don't mind all these gutter analysts who don't know what's going on on the streets.
Whatever happens in 2023, Everyone needs to know this…

I love this festacman: Love what Sanusi said though he didn't suggest solutions.
The truth is that saying you will remove fuel subsidy from day one as president means you are either deceitful or you are ignorant of our fundamental economic problems: we are producing little locally for export in addition to our now unreliable earnings from crude oil. So if you are removing the current oil subsidy which will push up cost goods and services locally and if you throwing the forex market to market forces, tell us your plan to hold the economy if things go south.
Look, Peter Obi (the breath of fresh air) stated earlier in his candidature of his intention to take Nigeria from consumption to production but didn't say HOW. Other candidates haven't said anything tangible on this.
We need a clear, home-grown (not texbook theories) multi-fields diversification plan proposal from the presidential candidates gor moving our economy away from dependence on crude oil. Such should will loop in the state governments. We need practical steps including necessary legislative interventions: - Steps to develop crop production, animal production (ruminants and poultry) - Steps to attract FDI, Niger Delta fishery and other marine resources. - Steps to boost our SMEs, Steps to boost ICT capacity of our young people, - Steps for transparently bringing investors to exploit our solid minerals - etc
Buhari came with poorly planned diversification program that didn't involve the state governments for multiplier effects. It lost steam too fast. |
