My name is Shadrach Nwachukwu I am a gay. I left Nigeria 3years ago to Uk as an outcast because of the same sex law. While in Nigeria I never liked Nigeria ladies. I have been a gay since 15yrs old. I was almost caught in my sss3 having fun with one of my colleague in the restroom. At a point I almost had s** with my brother. Now that I am in UK i have seen a guy I want to get married to and the wedding is coming up in August and I am inviting other members to come and join me in celebration

Elder statesman Salihu Abubakar Tanko Yakasai, yesterday, berated former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his constant criticisms of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.


In a  statement, yesterday, in Kano, entitled, ‘My opinion on the recent democracy day celebration in Nigeria,’ he condemned Obasanjo for attacking the sitting President openly without exploiting several other options.
Yakasai’s reaction came on the heels of recent remarks by Obasanjo at an economic summit organised at the instance of Jigawa State Government in Dutse, the state capital, where Obasanjo was quoted as saying that “you can help someone to get a job but you cannot help that person do the job.”
The former liaison officer to ex-President Shehu Shagari in the Second Republic,  described Obasanjo’s comment as a “unpalatable.”
He stressed that “using such a highly enlightened forum to underrate the achievement of the Jonathan administration, especially in the area of macro economic growth, is unfair.”
He stated that “as a patriotic Nigerian, a Democracy Day celebration is hardly a suitable occasion for any making a personal attack on his country’s leader whatever differences that exist between them.”
Yakasai asked Obasanjo to borrow a leaf from the First Republic politicians who “despite our differences with NPC leaders, NEPU leaders and members of the opposition, “never took our political differences with Sir Ahmadu Bello to the level of attacking his personality.”
Yakasai decried what he called Obasanjo’s unforgiving spirit whenever he had cause to disagree with anyone, saying that “Obasanjo’s method of disagreement with people is sometimes regarded as a matter of life and death.”
The elderstatesman added that  “people close to him say whenever General Obasanjo disagrees with a person, he would carry the fight to his place of worship, to his dining table and sometimes he will even be fighting the person in his dream.”
He therefore advised Obasanjo to pursue his political differences with the sitting Commander in Chief with “decorum, tolerance and statesmanly standard, stressing that, “this is the most honourable path for a man of his stature.”

An eastern Pennsylvania woman who fatally stabbed her fiance on their wedding day – and then apparently could not comprehend that he had died – was convicted of first-degree murder on Thursday.

Jurors found Na Cola Franklin, 32, guilty after deliberating about three hours in Lehigh County Court. She could get life in prison when she is sentenced July 16. Her attorney said an appeal is likely.

Prosecutors say Franklin and 36-year-old Billy Brewster got into the deadly argument on Aug. 11 around 2 a.m. in their Whitehall Township apartment. They were scheduled to be married at 10 a.m. in neighboring Allentown.

At her arraignment that night, Franklin appeared distraught and confused to learn Brewster was dead, telling the judge, “You got to check again!”

Defense attorney John Waldron told jurors during the trial this week that Brewster had come home drunk that night after an impromptu bachelor party. Brewster attacked Franklin and then tried to leave with the couple’s 9-month-old son, Waldron said.

Waldron argued Franklin killed the groom-to-be after grabbing a knife to protect her child. He had pushed for a voluntary manslaughter conviction, which carries a lighter sentence.

But prosecutors, who said the child was not in danger, sought a first-degree murder conviction. First Assistant District Attorney Steven Luksa said Thursday that he hopes the verdict will bring some comfort to Brewster’s family, according to the Express-Times of Easton.

On the day of the planned wedding, neighbor Steve Engel said the pastor who was supposed to marry the couple came looking for them at the apartment building. A suicidal man jumped into the enclosure of a lion cage at the Nandankanan Zoo in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India.

The man identified as Suryanarayan Das, 45, from Chhatrapur in Ganjam district, climbed over the wall and jumped into the lion’s enclosure housing the male lion, Cris, and the lioness, Priyanka.

His plan backfired when the pair of lions attacked and severely injured him but they did not kill him.

The incident took place around 1:10 pm when the security guards had gone to lunch. “As soon as Das jumped into the enclosure, the lion pounced on him, the lions returned to their cage when people started yelling,” zoo assistant director KL Purohit said.

"We have rescued Das within five minutes and he was taken to a hospital," Purohit said. After an investigation it was concluded that Das was not pushed into the enclosure instead he willingly jumped in."He touched my feet before jumping into the lion enclosure," an elderly tourist from West Bengal said.

Das suffered multiple bite wounds to his head, neck, face, legs and hands, Dr. Srikant Mohapatra who treated Das at the hospital said. Das regained consciousness in the hospital, according to a media report. Das admitted that he tried to commit suicide after constantly fighting with his wife.

Das stated he had come to the zoo seven days before the incident to look at the geographic location of the lion enclosure to see how to execute the suicide plan. Das was in stable condition, Dr. Mohapatra said.

“This is the first such incident at the zoo”, zoo director Mishra said, “We follow strict guidelines for the safety of our visitors, but If someone decides to jump inside the enclosure of animals, there is no way we can prevent it,” Mishra said.

The actor, reportedly fulfilling his promise of giving Jumai a special gift if she gives him a child, 'slapped' his wife with a 2013 model of Honda Cross Tour. 

It was learnt that Emeka got the delivery of the car last and presented the 'mobile home' to his excited wife, Jumai. 

The actor had waited for five years for a child but got a double dose in September 2012 when Jumai doubled Emeka's joy with a set of twins.

The twins were christened Jude and Judith by the parents.

Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy has been arrested this morning with his cousin and a friend on suspicion of rape.

ITV News understands that a woman in her 30s visited Remy, 26, at his flat last week believing him to be alone. When she arrived his cousin and friend were also apparently present.

The woman was offered a drink and allegedly lost consciousness afterwards.

When she recovered consciousness some hours later, it is claimed she was naked and the three men were still present. The woman made a complaint to police and the men were arrested this morning.

The Metropolitan Police said: "Officers from Sapphire are investigating an allegation of rape which happened on 6 May in the west London area.

"The allegation was passed on to the MPS by Kent Police on 8 May after the 34-year-old female victim reported it to them on the previous day, 7 May. The victim alleges she was raped by three men.

"On the morning of Wednesday, 15 May three men, [A] aged 26; [B] aged 23; [C] 22 yrs, were arrested at an address in Fulham on suspicion of rape - they remain in custody at a west London police station"
