According to the chairman of AADL, Nigeria isn't producing enough cassava for ethanol production.

Cassava farmers are smiling to the bank cos there is so much demand from distilleries. Especially the ones in Ogun and Oyo states

The op seem to have also forgotten how they laugh at us when the Niger Delta Militants killed many Yoruba people in Arepo and Ikorodu last year. They even tried to twist it by claiming those Militants were Yoruba and not Ijaws.
Though i was not registered to Nairaland then, but i saw all their comments.
If the Op has forgotten so soon, i will and can not.
So he better use his opolo.
Op na big otondo. He logged in with another moniker to post the same crap in support grin

Do you know how many of their neighbours, these IPOB people have offended? So you think those neighbours will now rush to the rescue? Biko, if na play make you stop am, o! sad
Tah! Who told you we offended any of our ND brothers.

You this Afonja. Your divide and rule tactics aren't working. Try another one

What about the Hausa - Yoruba clashes in Ife, when only the Yorubas were arrested? Can't you remember how they gloated over the incident? Don't worry, we would pray for Kanu and his people, so that God sends them divine assistance. But to get up from here, and cross the niger bridge to offer help? Mbanu! sad Maybe your own people can send OPC, to assist them....
grin grin cheesy

OPC wey never chow na him wan assist them? Why aren't their Niger Delta "brothers" helping them nah. Shebi Yoruba divide and rule has been destroyed smiley

Leave potor alone

Let's talk about

Erunmu dry port
Dangote refinery
Lekki FTZ
Olokola FTZ
Badagry seaport project
Seaport in Ilaje
Lagos-Ibadan rail
Pacesetter FTZ
What SW states need to do to attract investments.

These are the issues that matter. Issues that have to do with the reduction of unemployment in the SW. Issues that have to do with development. Issues that have to do with making the SW the number 1 investment destination. When all these are set, If Nigeria breaks up or is restructured, we will still be alright. We move on from there. What's my business with what's happening in Umuahia or Onitsha? Wetin concern bicycle with petrol station?
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Must Speak Up And Denounce The Military Siege In SE by MasterChen:
You folks forget things easily on this forum lol.

Have we forgotten how these clowns were twerking when some ND thugs said Yorubas must leave ND before October 1?

Have we forgotten how they used to call us Unity-begging Afon-jas everytime we told them this method is ineffective?

Have we forgotten how they used to call us environmentalists everytime Avengers burst pipeline?

Have we forgotten the Yoruba-Hausa Mile 2 clashes?

Have we forgotten how the same idiots were rejoicing when militants killed people at Ishawo

Man, I can go on and on

Una like to dey tie Gele go party wey dem no invite una.

I think what the NA did is wrong, BUT it's none of our business. The same way it wasn't their business when Yoruba leaders were being hunted for standing up against Abacha

Frankly speaking, me no even care about all these ipob-NA-Hausa crap lol. More local/foreign direct investments and capital projects in the SW is all I ask for honey smiley wink

And make nobody bring all that bullshit come SW all in the name of wanting restructuring or partitioning. Yeah, we want it but we aren't sacrificing a single Yoruba soul. Brave ipobs want to sacrifice for us. Amala eating cowards shouldn't do that after all cheesy grin

The number one reason is not lack of power, but the bureaucratic bottleneck and insufficient legislation. At least this act is not new. Fashola is pointing to the act, and I asked why he couldn't invest in the power sector while he was a governor?
What legislation are you talking about? I'm talking of the reasons why Nigerian businesses fail

Fashola invested in power. Had a lot of IPP projects executed during his tenure. It's there on his website. Mredimulo82 already mentioned some

But at the end of the day, power generated from anywhere is still added to the National grid for others to share.

PoliticsRe: FG Gives States Autonomy To Produce Power by MasterChen:
If this is actually true, then it's probably the best piece of news I've read in a while

States like Lagos and Ogun have never been short of investors willing to invest in IPPs. The useless bottlenecks are the things holding them down. So many jobs will be created if this gets done. The number 1 reason why most Nigerian SMEs fail is poor electricity

But again, I fear the generator guys would scuttle it . Heck! they are the ones making the laws
PoliticsRe: FG Gives States Autonomy To Produce Power by MasterChen:
Blue3k:
You guys realise many states have had Independent power projects for many years right?
They still end up adding it to the National grid

If not, then Lagos would have been running on 24-hours electricity
