AlafinofEnugu: Yes the Nigerian military is not as at during the civil war was adequate enough for the population cause we were not a 200million population Now that we av this population we av to increase the size of our military cause even as it stands the terrorist av more bodies than the military that is even scattered all across the body so the need for recruitment
You need 50 million soldiers to fight millions of mosquito, abi?
Are you the most populated country in the world? How many soldiers do India and China have?
Tinubu knows all the solutions. That's why Tinubu wants Federal government to recruit 50 million youths to join the military. Agbado solution provider.
Tonymegabush1: Well tinubu is not my candidate, but I don't like it when ppl insults an elderly man simply because he wish to contest election, Yes it's understandable if you choose not to vote for him but don't insult and criticize old age because it's not easy to come by.
You are fabricating issues that don't exist. People are criticizing the decision to field a man that is not mentally sound. That's the crux of the matter, not his age.
Christistruth00: [b] Section 8(1) of Administration of Criminal and Justice Act (2015)
“A suspect shall:
(a) be accorded humane treatment, having regard to his right to dignity of his person;
(b) not be subjected to any form of torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment”.
Section 2(1) of the Violence Against Persons Act
“A person who willfully causes or inflicts physical injury on another person by means of any weapon, substance or object, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or a fine not exceeding N100,000.00 or both.
I do not support physical harassment. I only quoted the section because the guy asked if a crime was committed.
TeeKings: All you cared about is to reply and not to read properly, how on earth did you miss where he called out the issue of the disabled supporter Call a spade a spade, he condemned the fake bishop attack and also that of the disable PO supporter, don’t be bias because of your hate for the truth and stop being emotional too. Have a great day
You are missing the point. He didn't stop at calling out both. He said Peter Obi supporters are no 1 in intolerance. That's the crux of the matter. He should have Shutup after calling out both supporters. But his bigotry can't let him to pretend.
Mr Macroni said some supporters threatened him. Sowore went ahead to say it was Peter Obi's supporters. Only for Macroni to come out and say it was Tinubu supporters that threatened him. Follow Sowore at your own peril. Those who know him very well, know the type of snake he is.
FirstSon01: Liberalization is the first step to development.
People who can't travel within their country safely are more bothered about what two grown adults chose to do with themselves.
The spread of monkeypox have been mostly linked to gays, same way HIV started spreading rapidly before it jumped into heterosexual.
That two grown adults decides to eat their own faeces should bother any reasonable person. Because one way or the other, the disease they will manufacture with their useless lifestyle will spread to others.
PandoraObi: Is Tinubu safe to campaign in Igbo land without intimidation?
Is Lagos safe for Igbo people to vote?
I understand that many of you suffer from selective amnesia, hence a reminder of Oba Lilwayne of Lagos threatening to drown Igbo people in the Lagoon. Borrow data and watch.
PandoraObi: If a pastor who was at the unveiling of shettima was attacked in Igbos' dei dei market in Abuja despite he committed no crime.
Section 484 of the Criminal Code Act in Nigeria. Impersonation in general
Any person who, with intent to defraud any person, falsely represents himself to be some other person, living or dead, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for three years.
If the representation is that the offender is a person entitled by will or operation of law to any specific property and he commits the offence to obtain such property or possession thereof, he is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.
A man that can afford billion van to move billions of naira cannot afford security for his campaign? Are you okay?
Let Tinubu drive without security into Abia state from Okigwe axis, his chances of being kidnapped by Fulani terrorists who have hijacked Lokpanta area is higher than him being harassed during campaign.
LAGOS — Following an order by Governor Babatunde Fashola, banning religious activities within Lagos State secretariat, the state government, weekend, demolished over three mosques and relocated churches in the state secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
Fashola, in the order, had based the decision on the need to strengthen security at the secretariat in view of the spate of bomb attacks in some parts of the country and urged devotees to use the central mosque and the secretariat chapel for their prayers.
The mosques, which were reduced to rubbles, were located behind Ministries of Justice, Finance, Environment while the one behind the state Public Service Commission, PSC, which was not demolished but its entrance completely blocked.
When Vanguard visited the secretariat, Muslim faithful, who frequently pray at the affected mosques, were seen in groups discussing the development.
It was further learnt that the demolition was carried out weekend to avoid violent reaction. It was further learnt that efforts by Muslims, who are members of the state executive council to make the governor have a rethink on the decision they considered anti-Islam fell on deaf ears.
Sources said the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, Mr Hakeem Odumosu, had alerted the governor on the need to carry out the measure due to the possibility of Boko Haram sect attacking from places of worship.
