If you won one election legitimately, unless you performed terribly, you don't fear the next election. Most of the governors are performing abysmally, that's why they are bowing to FG pressure to change party. We now have the worst set of governors since this democracy restarted. Zero charisma, zero leadership, zero guts, zero weight.

As terrible as some former governors, you will never be able to threaten guys like Amaechi, El Rufai, Wike, Oshiomhole, Kwankwaso, Ajimobi, Obaseki to decamp. Not having these kinds of governors at all now is damaging our democracy. There should always be governors that have the guts to challenge FG policies. One of Buhari's greatest mistakes was failing to finish off this Kanu issue.
