Atiku, the supposed national leader, watches like a spectator while his party burns to the ground. It's a pity. |
Basicend:Here is someone who has a thinking cap on. This was the same point I made to someone. Why are people so fixated on minimum wage as if it was the solution to this foolishness-induced crisis? How many people are in government employment? NLC is a goat institution that should be ripped apart. NLC does not represent the populace one bit. When the devils should have fought against fuel subsidy removal, electricity tariff hike, dollar floating, they went selfishly hustling for worthless salary increment which does nothing good to the general population. What's even the value of the minimum wage to the cost of living today? |
VikingKing:Propaganda used to be reserved for intellectuals until APC happened. Parties hire the best wordsmiths to drive their public image, this they do with unmatchable brilliance. But APC, for reasons I still cannot fathom, goes about recruiting a bunch of daft rogues to engage a public that boasts of enviable cognitive diversities. Just assess the overall performance of all APC defenders on this forum, you will be extremely generous to credit their performance rate a meager 25 percent. Such a pathetic set! |
Sowore is starting to act like fraudulent NLC. Most of the demands there are preposterous, highly unrealistic, beyond commonsense. The only reasonable demand there which should be standing alone for now is the return of both fuel and electricity subsidies. On these frivolous demands, the protest has drifted away from its popular conception towards a political direction, which no government will sit idly and let rogue reign. An attempt to topple an elected government is what we are now looking at. Sowore, this protest is not one of your political shenanigans. Probably, you have been recruited by the government or alien forces to derail a noble idea. Shame on you! |
Masterviolence:You clearly understand the way campaign funds spending go. The donations ordinarily should be returned to the donors. This is fraud and deception. Kamala should be sourcing for her own funds if she thinks she commands the popularity weight to compete. I bet you when Trump wins, this issue will be revisited ruthlessly. It's like tricking people to donate to you, while your intention is to transfer the funds to someone else that some of the donors do not fancy to lay hold on their money. Liberals are criminals! |
Akpabio's cognitive depletion stares so glaringly. |
OneCandleAway:You sabi the dumbo abi? He is damn irritating. He found it difficult making sense in proper English. Dude quickly retreated to his pedestrian shell. |
Trump is the next US president. Democrats cannot retain power. The people are fed up with the liberal filth. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Are the said nine African countries better off developmentally than America? Stop chasing inanity. ![]() |
senatordave1:The discrepancies are one too many. Documentation loopholes like this can spell doom for a party after elections. Never say never. |
Could this be the reason Oshiomhole did not support his candidacy at first? He probably rightly adjudged the baggage too heavy to deal with post elections. |
RickyJesus:Stop defending carelessness and mediocrity. You are like a middle-aged man I was driving in a church bus over a decade ago as a youth group leader, and I requested he used his seat belt because he sat in front. His response, "Are you envisaging an accident?" Those were his exact words. I recall that day like yesterday. Not too long he was involved in a terrible accident while driving himself. It happened right close to his house. An eyewitness said the man was known to drive recklessly and they did expect he would not get away with it for too long. Does it connect? That is his carefree culture coming to hunt him. Safety measures are not for decorative purposes. While doing that stuff without a helmet and proper footwear, something could drop heavily on him, that's the end. Just like another dead idiot who was notorious in the act of fixing electrical problems without proper safety kits. He was electrocuted in one of his foolish ventures. You wouldn't be contributing to topics here if you were not slightly lettered. Don't type like those who are not. No substitute for safety at work sites. Even a rescue team, during disaster, knows very well to call off an unsure mission when they sense that their own safety could be in jeopardy. |
senatordave1:Somehow sha, Okpebholo isn't hawkish o. The guy appears peace-loving. It's Ize Iyamu and his gang that will eventually push him to go crazy. |
senatordave1:Exactly what will play out. As it stands Oshiomhole's choice of deputy will have a tough time pulling weight in if they won. We may be heading for a replay Obaseki v. Philip rumble royale. Ize Iyamu and his crew want to cut Oshiomhole's overbearing wings to tiny bits. That's why they hijacked the primaries right under Oshiomhole's nose. It was Tinubu's intervention, for the sake of electoral success, that keeps the fracas low key at the moment. Wahala dey front o. The fact is that most Edo south political leaders are disgusted at Oshiomhole's dictatorial stranglehold on Edo state political space. |
senatordave1:I won't argue with you. Oshiomhole that would have been displaced by then? You overrate him bro. He could not materialize his first choice in the recently conducted APC governorship primaries, and you are here deifying him to perform wonders in 8 years time. I laugh. ![]() |
004gist:That's why I love them. "Pinch my skin and I will cut off your head," my kind of philosophy against agents of wickedness. ![]() |
If there was a return to this world, I will love to come back as an Israeli. I like the way they deal with terrorists. Visit their home fronts with fire and brimstone. Crush, maim, and grind all agents of evil, giving them exactly what they ask for. Thank you Benjamin Netanyahu for not disappointing the office entrusted to you. You will never be forgotten, comrade. ![]() |
senatordave1:After 8 years of Esan rule power definitely returns to Edo south, that's if it doesn't in 4 years time. |
Gerrard59:When exactly are you referring to? Please be specific. It is only in recent times that beans and garri have suddenly become more expensive than rice. The same rubber size of rice was half the price when used to measure beans as early as early beginning of this year. The whole beans and garri price hike madness is a few months old. So I don't know what you are saying. Maybe you are talking about bag of rice and bag of beans. Traditionally beans comes in bigger bags, nearly thrice the size of a regular rice bag, the basis probably for which you made that statement. |
parkervero:Then a bag of rice was around 9k. But with 73k now, a bag of rice is between 70k and 90k. Is the nation going forward or backwards? ![]() |
Efuaye:Oshiomhole is a smart guy. He needs all available tools to prosecute the forthcoming elections. That statement was simply to warn Philip at that time that APC governorship ticket was not available to anyone outside the party stakeholders. Besides, receiving an influential opposition figure very close to an election helps weaken them (PDP) further. Oshiomhole might have delayed this move until now in order to achieve this goal. |
What are his hopes now? Inherit Oshiomhole's senatorial seat someday, fight to become governor after eight years, return to the house of assembly, or get a fed appointment through Oshiomhole's influence? Choosing to fight Oshiomhole openly was a huge mistake. A choleric like Oshiomhole will never trust him again. Philip is going to have to pave his own political path to the top alone onward. ![]() |
eebraa:Enlighten me if I am missing something about the administration of FCT markets. |
Yelight:Then the senate chamber is not the appropriate place to make her case. Let her take her case to Wike's office. |
mrvitalis:Your points are very valid. |
I support a Southern president to teach Northern politicians some lessons. But Tinubu is doing a horrible job with the economy especially. At least get the economy right. |
Dare the courts and nothing will happen! Since the judiciary wants to be useless, render it inconsequential! |
princepeter566:If it was pastors they won't hesitate to blow it and tag the names of their churches alongside. See them hypocrites attempting to hide the culprits' true identities under the 'cleric' cover just to deceive readers. Na 3 IMAMS! ![]() |
I trust Benjamin Netanyahu. He will respond with a language they understand. Greater violence is what they understand. ![]() |
Afonja007:The day state police officially comes into full force, make everybody just jejely carry him bag go him state of origin. It will be the beginning of the end of a united Nigeria. |
senatordave1:Which law? Obaseki exhausted all constitutional processes required to effect his removal. You think Obaseki is your typical disorganized administrator? Dude ensures he dots all i's and crosses all t's when dealing with his opponent. Ask Oshiomhole and his boys. I am not his fan, but I acknowledge and applaud his meticulousness. |
Tinubu, not a fine leader though, but I admire the way he puts overbearing northern politicians in check. Northerners don't own this country. Southern leaders must take a cue from here. They should never let those guys dictate how to run your administration. Clip all errant wings from the north. Flap in my direction or be broken off. ![]() |
