MelesZanawi: You're a very foolish person Justice Omotosho gave the same judgement reinstating Asue Ighodalo as Pdp candidate and also gave this, but you are calling this a Kangaroo judgement.
I don't know the dustbin where PDP use to gather these illiterates from. Are you an illiterate? How does a court wake up to annul the outcome of a lawful legislative proceeding? Even though Obaseki did injustice to the guy, his removal duly followed constitutional procedure. That you compared a mere party primary to the legal outcome of an elected parliament shows how dull you are. You should get better political education. Nigerian judiciary is now a center of ignominy. |

mrvitalis: The environment is crazy sha
No internal street at all
Honestly South West needs to do better
Remember the first time I went to Lagos was surprised that there are streets in the old Lagos Surulere, ojota, Ikeja that have never been tared no once ever just plan sand
Growing up in port Harcourt you can't find this anywhere from Diobu to Borokiri to Romumasi The old port Harcourt city u can't see a road that has never been tared
Yes roads in Lagos are ok just one but internal streets is bad very very bad
Then my service year in Ede to Oshogbo most neighborhood dont even have streets like no streets people just build house anyhow... It was strange to me
Even Nsukka where I schooled has streets I can confirm that of PHC. I lived in both Rumuomasi and Rumuokoro at various times, and most of their inner streets are tarred. |

This is no longer about builders but cement manufacturers in Nigeria need to be grilled and cautioned.
The produce substandard cement and still sell it at exorbitant price to struggling Nigerians yet government and SON does nothing to checkmate them You dare question government's firstborn son? Rightly as you said, I have observed in recent times that cement has fallen sharply in quality. But we live in a country where human life means next to nothing. Cement quality is at its worst level in ages. Nigerians don't know where they are heading. Na go this country dey so. |

femtex007: When they said you should go to farm u refused I wonder who certified some of you. How about the driver, pilot, lawyer, banker, doctor, nurse, lecturer, police officer, military personnel, security guard all quit their jobs and go into farming? You speak senselessly! Even in agrarian societies, everyone does not go to farm. Incompetence on the part of government leaves us where we are. Those who own farms are unable to produce maximum output due principally to insecurity. See how Benue has been wrecked, a bankable food processor. If people have to plant what they eat, not for leisure or personal choice, but because the national system cannot supply them enough, then the nation is on the verge of collapse. This should really worry any wise citizens who must then refuse the state's false campaign, which largely is an abdication of responsibility, that everyone should go to farm. Nigeria is going! You are here saying go to farm. Soon you would be asked to source your own petrol, diesel, and of course power which most are already doing for themselves. What a shame of a nation! Failed leaders enabled by wicked and gullible citizenry. |

Next move, strip off states the powers to conduct LG elections. Our local councils must be allowed to function like their counterparts abroad. Councils should be able to provide accessible primary healthcare, rural roads, street lights, promote community sports and many more. But state governors wiped off all these potentials that should have made life easier for the local populace and rural dwellers. |

In Abia State University where I work, we will possibly go on strike on Friday over 3 months unpaid salaries. The last government was owing us 11 months salary and the present governor promised to pay it before the end of last year, till now, nothing has been done. Imagine being owed 14 months of salary. This LP thing is a social media propaganda. I'm no longer part of it. I won't even believe Peter Obi again if I am to judge Labour based on what Alex Otti is doing. Let me be blunt. If what you said about your father is true, na your papa curse you don dey inherit small small so o. It's called the spirit of gather and scatter. It's a sinkhole that leads to financial insufficiency. When what people take from you periodically is more than your income, you are in deep trouble. Harden up. Apply prayer and attitudinal violence to defeat it before you become a full-blown victim. I might sound funny but you will remember me. Monetary requests nearly ruined my finances in May. I had to toughen up in June to escape becoming a borrower. |
