Is there anyone that has gotten ITA and AOR and waiting for an update? I applied in the FSW and submitted my application in May although I live outside the country. It looks like its a slow process (or killing wait) so I was just wondering what the timeline of any Nigerians look like. |

texrem: Honestly, I think you should have let her know she interviewed you before. By the law, she is not suppose to interview you again so that was partly your fault plus you should also have started with the scholarship like everyone has said. Honestly, you have a good case but the challenge is getting your story across to the LagosNIV because the system should have caught that (interviewed again by the first person who denied). Is there a way your case can e reopened. I will say dont be discouraged give it one more shot with fasting and prayer. Start with the scholarship story and God forbid if you meet the woman again, let her know sharply. I am sure there is a silver lining to this... Best wishes!
4times.....I won't even bother going to there country again for me to try for d fourth time...I might just switch to visiting instead....I'm easily discouraged when I failed..
I'm just sick....why d woman again |

Yes you can transfer to a community college. I have friends who have down this before to have time to study for some exams and also to save money. You can switch schools as ou like just make sure your I-20 is not out of status. adewoleray: Good day gurus, pls I want to ask. Can someone transfer to a community college from a masters programme in a particular course, like from MPH to a community college? Secondly, how much is mostly the tuition fee for a community college on an estimate? Thanks and god bless |

Maybe fly to Atlanta and take a greyhound bus to Tennesse, likely to be cheaper. And greyhound departs from the airport in Atlanta. bbdd: Miami might be a good option for someone going to Tennessee. Less time spent travelling |

Hi House,
I also need help. I have been looking for affordable flights to Texas and it looks like Ethiopian is the cheapest I have gotten, Like 297k one way to Houston. Does anyone have any other ideas? Is it safe to travel Ethiopian on a one way without been stopped or unduly questioned? I also saw air maroc but 41hours flight is somehow too much. Please if anyone knows how to get more affordable flights, I will appreciate it. Thank you |

Please somebody help me with these... match2016: Fellow Nairalanders,
I am reading through this thread now and I thought I would ask for some advise. My interview comes up next week and everything seems good for now except that my bro-in-law (BIL) is the one sponsoring me. I just combed through all the threads and it doesn't look like this usually sits well to the VOs; although I have some small funding from the school. Is there anyone that has been sponsored by BIL that got a visa? Also when asked about the sponsor what is the best way to answer the question? Why is my BIL sponsoring me and of what benefit is it to him? What are some documents I can also take along to support my application? Also I noticed the I-20 reads "brother" not "BIL". Should I lie that he is my brother? Is that better? 2) My brother is also in the US for her postgrad studies. Should I let the VO know?
Please kindly advise me house. I am very worried and I cant even sleep again.
Thank you |
