Pornography would have been totally harmless to watch if only we will not lust after one or two characters in the porn scene.

We all know what the Bible says about looking at the opposite sex lustfully and I definitely see this happening whenever we watch pornographic films as we virtually imagine ourselves in the scene and this makes pornography sinful for both actors,actresses and viewers.

But no where was pornograghy mentioned in the bible.It must be acceptable to your own type of christianity so that anybody can just be saved.

So we have all these mysteries that couldn't be explained by science but when it comes to the issue of creation and life after death;they will come up with their bogus thesis and theories and some people are taking them serious.many have been scammed and many are still being scammed.

I am still wondering why man should rely on the lame explanation of science on the weighty issues of life after death.The same science that could not resolved the mystery behind Bermuda triangle ,the mystery behind the images representing a whole market with a king in Esie Oro or that of the pyramid in Egypt neither has they been able to replicate the mummy of more than 2000 years old in Egypt.Yet some Mumuni are taking science opinion as final on the issue of life after death.Surprise dey awaits Una.keep forming.

Whether man believe or not;there is life after death.When a person dies,the dust(flesh) returns unto the earth and the spirit returns unto God who gave it.Ecclesiastes 12:7.The body(flesh) is the only thing man has in common with animals and it shall decay like that of other animals after death but the spirit which is from God(Genesis 2:7) doesn't die.It lives forever.The spirit even after death will be able to recognise their oppressors Isaiah 14:9-17,see,communicate and even has feelings Luke 16:22-31.The rich man died and was buried yet he could see,communicate,has feelings and remember his family members in where he found himself.Your spirit is the real you and it doesn't die.

What a fulfillment of prophecy which says by hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand and seeing ye shall see and shall not perceive Matthew 13:14-15.There is nothing silly in the response rather it went further to confirm what majority of the people that responded in the earlier post wrote that the kingdom of heaven came down with power on the day of Pentecost.
The only addition I made was to differentiate between the message of the coming of the kingdom of God with power which Jesus said some of his disciples will witness and it came to pass as he said and the message of the end of the world and his second coming with his angels which shall surely come to pass.

I read a topic on alleged Jesus prophecy on the timing and those that will witness the coming of his kingdom and the fate of the prophecy on 26th July

I went through the Bible and below are my findings.The statement of Jesus in Matthew 16:28,Mark 9:1, and Luke 9:27 were all continuation of Jesus promises to Peter who confessed Jesus as Christ wherein Jesus promised to give the key of the kingdom to Peter and that whatsoever Peter bind or loose on earth shall be done in heaven Matthew 16:18-19.i.e the kingdom will be functional on earth different from heaven and the gate of hell will not be able to prevail.

The above statement were made six days before he took 3 of his disciples to the mount of transfiguration where God has to confirm the sonship of Jesus and the need to listen to him Matthew 17:1 Mark 9:2 Luke 9:28.

Therefore the message above was quiet far and different from the message of Jesus when his disciples came to him and asked him to tell them about the signs of the end and of his second coming.

The message of his second coming in Mark 13:5-37;Matthew 24:3-51 and Luke 21:7-36 where he warned his followers of false prophets and miracles;preach about watchfulness and the need to be expectant because he too does not know the time of his coming is different from the earlier one which he said with certainty .

Now concerning the kingdom,Jesus likened the kingdom to a mustard seed which even though normally starts small but will grow to become bigger and a place of refuge Matthew 13:31-32.He likened the kingdom to a net thrown into the water that gathers different kind of things but at his second coming with his angels the good shall be separated from the bad Matthew 13:47-50.

It was recorded that on the day of Pentecost , the heavens opened and the Spirit of God came down to fill the disciples.Acts 2:1-4.Even though Jesus did not come down in human body,but his spirit which is the holy spirit and power came down to fill the disciples.There were 120 of his disciples present on the day of Pentecost.There was a time 200 of Jesus' disciples departed from him but it was sure that 11 out of the initial 12 disciples were present on the day of Pentecost.There was confusion among the on lookers but as Jesus said, it was Peter who had earlier denied Jesus 3 times in a secluded place that came out publicly to tell everybody that what happened was a fulfillment of prophecy .The group that God's Spirit and power filled that day were the first set of people adopted into the kingdom.Even though they were just 120 in number,despite various persecutions and killings, they grew to become the church of today and that was the kingdom described in Matthew 13:3-51.That was the kingdom that the gate of hell cannot overcome.
Admission into that kingdom is by repentance and faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ . Evidence of membership is the indwelling of the Holy spirit.Ephesians 2:19-22,1Corithians 3:16,2Corinthians 6:16.

And just as it is happening now that people are looking for his physical appearance as a manifestation of his kingdom on earth Jesus had this to say in Luke 17:20-21 " And when he was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come,Jesus answered and said,The kingdom of God cometh not with observation.Neither shall they say Lo here or lo there for behold the kingdom of God is within you"The kingdom is the heart of disciples and he reigns and rules inside them by his Holy spirit.Apostle Paul confirmed the existence of the kingdom when he reminded the Kingdom is not plenty talking but in the demonstration of power 1corinthians 4:19-20

There is no failed prophecy because Jesus said heavens and Earth will pass away but none of his words will go unfulfilled.We only need to read the bible with the heart to learn instead quoting the bible out of context or quoting a verse in isolation.God bless you all as we both live everyday as our last day.
