No one is disputing US world power status because they dominate or are well represented in many sectors of human activities and advancement.

China has played it's hand and not in a very intelligent way. It should realise that Europe is a lot more concerned about the independence and security of Ukraine than the United States and it's pro Russia posture will only drive a wedge of trust between it and mainstream Europe.
