patrickcollins: This is caging and again even an Igwe or village chief can't come from a particular family not talking about a whole country. Did you see what happened in Cameroon during the previous elections?…...how many reputable media houses reported it?..…this world get as e be...... because you've been told to hate him doesn't mean those telling you are right or they're doing it for a good reason. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kim Jong-Un Secures 99.93% Win by Mattswaggz: 4:36pm On Mar 20 |
NairalandBishop: I have my reasons for believing they are suffering. If this man could track his blood brother who fled the country and assassinate him, is it the citizens that are safe? The brother should be an opposition and likely knows top secrets and is well connected in the country which could make him a threat if he isn't aligned to the present government.......most top countries eliminate anyone who is similar threat as well just that you've been programmed to see the one they want and hear more about the one the people who control the media wants you to and also the media shapes narratives easily as well.....politics has always been a dirty game anywhere.....brutal things have happened in sudan and many other parts of Africa but the so called "democracies" who happen to control the media wouldn't tell you......they're only attacking him because he understands their game and he has refused to bend over. Nonetheless.....I don't know or I didn't hear of this very thing you're talking about though. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kim Jong-Un Secures 99.93% Win by Mattswaggz: 4:09pm On Mar 20 |
NairalandBishop: Thank God you said might, but I don't think you're right. The country would have been open to journalists, tourists and citizens of other countries if they've got nothing to hide. South Korea and North Korea were once together. Just take a look at South Korea today who is practicing democracy compared to North Korea. I believe the people in that country are suffering He is weary of the west infiltrating the country......that's why such restrictions (though too much) are in place..... because you can't see what going on in that country doesn't mean the people there are suffering. |

Why don't you tour that country it's affordable but I fear you may end up in prison over there Almost every elite country regulates what their citizens are exposed to one way or another......his own may be too much but for obvious reasons. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Kim Jong-Un Secures 99.93% Win by Mattswaggz: 12:08am On Mar 20 |
Helinuse: Quick one:
If you can’t build systems to compete with your peers in the normal, you will still fail in the abnormal.
If a country can’t build non nuclear capabilities to contend with other nations, it will still fail in a nuclear conflict if it possesses them.
Eg. Israel has the capacity to battle with even extraterrestrial aliens, then imagine if a country now tries them with nukes. It will be grave. They will still overcome. Iran just learnt that lesson. Shallow comparism.... Iran isn't as advanced as NK and neither are they armed with nukes......and also their country's military hasn't been infiltrated which made espionage easier of Israel in the case of Iran. |

Crime › Re: Police Officer In Aba Caught In Extortion, Told To Empty His Pockets. by Mattswaggz: 4:04pm On Mar 19 |
PigTormentor: At the end of the day you still find a way to blame the so called leaders when you said yourself that everyone is corrupt. The real problem is Nigeria is that almost everyone is corrupt but they don't see their own corruption ad the problem. They see others as the problem. A civil servant who is taking bribe to do his or her job doesn't think that they are part of the problem. They only view the leaders as thr problem, if fact such people will be complaining that the country is bad because of bad leadership while they are demanding bribe to do a job for which they are getting paid . In countries where things work and less corruption, the average workers will.do their job and not expect anything in return. A lot of these workers are not rich by any standards, in fact some are struggling and barely surviving but they will not use that excuse to steal or collect bribe. A Nigerian in a good job, making good money is still going to steal. Even Nigerians abroad making good money are still prone to fraud. What does that tell you about the average Nigerian? So the problem in Nigeria is the citizens but until we accept that, we are just wasting time. Lol....the leaders will always take a higher percentage of the blame because they're in the position to enforce a stop to it and lead by example but they're showcasing their corruptive abilities.....in as much as people should tell themselves the truth, blaming the leaders who can make a change but refused to is never out of line. |
