They are insinuating that these banks APIs are somehow open somewhere that a rogue app can “temporarily” update the DB such that the mobile app sees a “fake” balance!!!! I understand if a fake SMS alert displays a false balance. But a bank’s mobile app displaying a false balance is leaving stunned!
