DeLaRue: What a joke.
There has not been a time in the last 20 years that the Nigerian economy has relied less on oil that it is now.
Our non-oil exports has reached record high, and the contribution of oil & gas to the external reserve has been less than 90% for several months.
Since the President has not shown them any favouritism as they thought they would get under a Muslim Muslim ticket, they are now economic critics. Finish and go and collect the meagre 30k. . |

erico2k2: Yes true, but like what I have always said, Poverty ,Ignorance and the will to not bother to ask question fuels the narrative as described by you. Steve Harvey in his show openly told a pastor off that he will never pay first fruit and he asked the guy, Do you know what my salary is? and do you know what 10% of my income is? Hmmmmm.....and not to even mention how this kind of mentality is one of the major causes of Nigeria's backwardness today. Politicians would steal money of live TV and come and run campaign and you'll see people in numbers cheering him on and some defending online.....same applies to Religious leaders and celebrities..... it's the very people that should make them feel they did wrong that'll be cheering them on and backing them then turn around to lament on how the country is getting worst ignoring their own contributions to the rot. Life is simple....what you sow is what you reap ...you can't sow stupidity and evil and hope that praying all day will change the outcome of the harvest. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria U.S Begin Joint Eradication Of Bandits Across Nigeria by Mattswaggz: 2:15am On Dec 26, 2025 |
FreeStuffsNG: Yes. And it is no big deal. They did same with Jordan just 2-3 days ago. .
Only unfortunate unpatriotic elements doubt that such operations are held jointly.
I first read it on a foreign media that it was at the permission of Nigeria.
The US apparently want to keep the military assets used for the particular operation under their own control just like when they bombed Iran on behalf of their proxy in the middle east.
Forget Trump hyping as usual, it's more symbolic than any significant military success. Nigeria is too large and the cost of such operations will be too expensive for US to sustain.
Nothing really significant. Just to bomb small parts of a forest in Sokoto when there are multiple forests in Sokoto and thousands of forests in just NW geopolitical zone in Nigeria.
The most important task will be undertaken by our armed forces who combine all the intelligence along with internal policing. We must support our armed forces . They are more effective than failed US bombings in Gaza and Afghanistan.
To fly one or two aeroplane and drop bomb is the easy part. Ground operation with boots on the ground is where the big deal is and US cannot do that because their soldiers will get killed. Joint.....joint with the incapable Nigeria military or which one....try another joke pls. . |

Business › Re: Can A Keke Rider Make This Kind Of Money Daily? by Mattswaggz: 2:12am On Dec 26, 2025 |
Lanretoye: I told you that it depends on location too, maybe I’m judging by my experience in my own locality which is Alimosho.also consider that majority of people in the field are either uneducated or mostly have responsibility that is overstretched like having about 3 or more children and still have to pay installments .mostimes they go into contribution daily and when they get their contributions,it goes back into paying school fees, house rents and other expenses and the circle continues. All I know is that they make up to the amount in my area, how they spend it is what I don’t know. If you buy the keke by yourself and you ride it without paying delivery or installments to anyone which is about 50k weekly you could be saving up to an average of 300k or more on monthly basis So being uneducated is one of the major reasons from ur own end?........ They're some educated one's as well but all I see is at least they pay their bills to some extent....they don't live the best of life and neither do they grow like others who had opportunities to control such amount of money monthly.....you know the average a normal Nigerian earns a months yet a lot have set of businesses and live in better houses than all these transport guys. |

nairalanda1: 'Shrugs'
Well, people have to, and that includes me, follow christ, because he said so, not because we would get end of year gifts or because some paster said that if we give three months salary we would have 30 billion naira in our bank accounts by the end of the year. Following "Christ" entails seeking leaders whose actions matched their words......you can't just follow anyone and claim you're following Christ...... infact, you've been mandated to not just ignore evil/wrong doing but to call it out and fight it. When the head is rotten.....you know what they say becomes of the body. |

nairalanda1: You don't have to abuse your race to make a point, and there are churches in Nigeria devoid of pulpit bandits. Chill I know what I am talking about....most Nigerian would avoid those one's you're talking about and the same Nigerians would attack you and defend those you're trying to expose to them for their own good. Try to imaginarily compare exposing a leader, politician, religious leader etc in a top country to be a scam and imagine the reaction from the main people that made such powerful figure(his/her followers) and then run a simulation for Nigeria here and see why I said the black man thinking capacity is lower. |

Lanretoye: I am telling you what I know so well,80% of riders are on installment and that’s where the problem is.you have to make up your target before by all means so it’s as if they are just working for someone else.the same thing with most uber drivers too,if the owner is the rider too laziness mostly sets in cos you are not under any obligation but I can’t tell u authoritatively that they don’t make less than 30k if they work normal day routine and after paying all expenses unless when the keke has fault.it also depend on route too anyway. If what you say is true.....it should take any serious person at least 1-2yrs to complete the payment and take full charge of it....but it takes them ages (almost all of them). You see in most professions that earn such amounts you'll get above 60% of those in that profession living a life worth the said amount but why is it always different when it comes to this specific profession we are talking about..... Perhaps my thinking of all this being over hyped is justified after all. What are you saying is the main reason?..... Laziness, other factors that are overlooked or what.....I really want to know because this thing is hard to believe from where I stand and also Indicate if you have first hand experience/information of anything you've told me and/or will tell me going forward. |

While here in Nigeria.... those pulpit bandits with cars, private jets, schools and other assets gotten from the people's contributions will still keep on collecting from the little they have.
I really wonder why black man tend to have the least IQ/critical thinking abilities compare to others. |

Flangelo12: I guess all the Koreans and Indians in US are doing the same.
Just say you are envious. Far from envious....not everyone thinks like you.... that's why I'd rather me grow and give back to Nigeria in anyway I can even if it ends up amounting to nothing (though it wouldn't).....than go where I'd be viewed as a stranger and always reminded of my roots. Blacks are hardly respected anywhere because we have failed to command that respect.....keep attacking Trump you can see that even Europeans are clamouring for leaders that are brutal about clamping down on immigration (especially from Africa). |
