President Goodluck Jonathan has assured Nigerians that his administration is determined to reduce hunger and poverty in the country.

“As President, my goal is to work hard so that no citizen is hungry. We are making progress in eliminating hunger. The report from GHI corroborates our own records which show that our food import bill has reduced from 1.1 Trillion Naira in 2009 to 634 Billion Naira in 2014 and falling,” he said.

The president said he is impressed with the statistics from the International Food Policy Research Institute which shows that the country is making progress on the annual Global Hunger Index. He noted that his administration has been able to reduce hunger by cutting out the middle men and empowering 14 million Nigerian farmers (of which 2 million are women) with fertilizers directly.

“We are not only reducing hunger in our nation, we are also reducing our dependence on foreign nations for our food security while at the same time creating wealth at the grass roots of Nigeria,” he added.

The president made the disclosure on his verified facebook account, Goodluck Jonathan. It will be recalled that he also shared some of his achievements with his friends on the social media, with a promise to keep them with up to date account of his stewardship in the last four years.

His political party, the People Democratic Party, PDP, via its official twitter handle, @PdpNigeria, is also promoting the achievements of the president. The party is sharing wit its 31, 000 followers what the president has achieved across the states, especially in meeting the Millennium Developmental Goals (MDGs).

In a related development his Special Assistant on New Media, Reno Omkri, took to twitter to share a photo of the 10 lane Abuja Highway completed by Jonathan administration.

Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) to
sit down because he is too old.
Bishop, who gave four reasons why Nigerians
should not vote for Buhari, said, “At his age, I
have the desire and cry for the youth of Nigeria.
Buhari will not communicate with these young

Okah asserted: “Thirdly, I cannot trust Buhari.
How many times has he said that he would not
come back after losing elections in the past, he
came back the other day. How can I trust him? I
will have difficulty to trust him.”
The cleric stated: “Buhari, whether he accepts it or
not, he is religious extremist. If he thinks some of
us have forgotten, the other day when he lost
election, he said that if he loses election, he will
make Nigeria ungovernable, today, North-East is
ungovernable. Buhari has to make a confession
and he needs to apologize to this country.”
The Bishop said, “I pity my brother, the professor
and SAN, Yemi Osinbajo, a senior pastor at the
Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, I
don’t think he heard from God, He forgot how
Buhari handled Pastor Tunde Bakare, go and sit
with Bakare, some things Bakare cannot publicly
say, how Buhari dumped him. Do you hear Bakare
talk about Buhari. On these four points, I will
personally mobilize the youths and the church
against Buhari.”

Politicians would never change, please what change is there IF TRULY WE DESIRE CHANGE WE OUGHT NOT TO GO BACK TO THE PAST AND RECYCLE A RETIRED PAST LEADER. In that case maybe APC should have presented someone like Kwankwaso who performed well in the APC primaries, then we would be having true change in style of leadership, ideologies et al.

One barrel of crude if refine is equivalent to 150 liters of fuel.

Why can't we own a refinery?

If we refine this crude oil in nigeria there will be no need spending money for imported fuel.

We could simply buy locally refine fuel for 20naira.

Oil thefts steals 400,000 barrel per day.

And nigeria only need free 250,000 barrel per days to power our economy, but only few people enrich themselves with GEJ.

This will only make us to spend for refining cost and by then it will be around 10naira if crude oil is free.

This will make our economy more stronger and the poor will feel the impact of a government. No robbery and kidnapping.
