evy1: Ethiopian Airlines is in talks to take over management of Nigeria's troubled Arik Air.
Nigeria’s government took over Arik Air early this year after it declared heavy losses.
Ethiopian Airlines’ head for international services, Esayas Woldemariam, told the Associated Press news agency that the negotiations follow a request by Nigeria’s aviation ministry.
“We definitely are willing and able to take over the management of Arik Air,” he told AP.
State-owned Ethiopian Airlines is Africa's most profitable carrier. http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-africa-40829648 Imagine, "the negotiations follow a request by the Nigeria's Aviation Ministry". This is one of the most shameful and disgraceful thing that will happen in this Government. Ethiopian Airlines taking over Arik Air......Shame, shame, shame to this Government!!! |

Business › Re: What Is Your Greatest Challenge In Importation Business? by MaxNdu: 7:42am On Aug 11, 2016 |
SamMilla1: One big challenge is payment method which I have offered a lot of help for people buying with RMB since China is the biggest market at the moment.
The truth is that due to the exchange rate, things are generally more expensive on Alibaba and Express, Far cheaper on Taobao and 1688. However, Tao and 1688 were created for locals to buy and sell to foreigners on Alibaba. But with help, you can still buy from there.
I am advising the youths to go into small importation business during this time of recession. It will help them quit channeling all their energy on Blaming Buhari. The truth is that Nigeria is in a mess. APC just don't want to be honest with the truth.
Yoi can create a free shop on Konga and Jumia, start with something as small as phone batteries.
A boy sent me 15k to buy few phone batteries for him in China, that was his starting capital. Because of his dedication to the small project, I had to leave office and go to the battery Market while it was raining. Now he is sending 25k and he swore he did not add a kobo outside the initial 15k.
Because of his determination, I will ship his batteries from China for free until he gets to 100k. So focus more on business section if you are still young, don't go wasting your time with Fashola and Dasuki craps, Ipob, Afonja hatreds, Nothing you say here changes anything if you are nobody. Bro, Pls where in China is this battery market. Cos I am really interested in getting some quality battery. Thanks. |

Autos › Re: Total Cost Of Clearing A Vehicle In Nigeria by MaxNdu: 9:45pm On May 06, 2016 |
femmy2010:
The shipping line it is coming on would determine the clearing cost. Do you know the shipping line name yet?
If you have not shipped those vehicles yet and not planning to ship other personal items in the container then i do advice to ship it Roro and on Grimaldi shipping line, that way i can guarantee your vehicle would be delivered as shipped and you would save money on clearing cost.
N650k and N350k would clear the 08 Rav4 and 07 Camry respectively if shipped Roro on Grimaldi shipping line and at "least" N100k more if shipped Roro on any other shipping line.
Call 08036363467 or email duduconsultt@yahoo.com
All you need to present at the licensing office is your Custom papers and the registration of your vehicle would be done for you.
POST FUTURE INQUIRY IN THE THREAD POSTED BELOW
https://www.nairaland.com/1575271/licensed-customs-clearing-agent/3 Femmy, based on your statement about "100k more if shipped RORO on other shipping line, are you saying Grimaldi is the cheapest shipping line in Lagos? What about if shipped in container, is Grimaldi d cheapest too? I love to know before making my shipping decision. Thanks in advance. |

peckhamboi: Every day, different set of Igbo leaders are meeting Buhari despite less than 1% of them voting for the man.
Even the Yoruba, Middle Belt and Hausa people who truly voted for him in droves are yet to visit him.
Some people are truly not shameful at all. Okorocha and Ngige had been strong supporters of APC even at its formation. And have continued to rally the South East support for APC. And mind you politics is about coalition of supporters from all parts of the country. |

TeamSimple: Another employment scam by PDP led government. I was lucky enough not to have been totally duped. I paid the 5k for form, but when it was time for the uniform purchase,I had my 32k cash, then suddenly it began to rain. Luckily for me under where I decided to take shelter from the rain were Ferma staffs seated. To my luck I started hearing stuffs like; I pity these pple training in the rain, who tell them say ferma need people. Another voice said 'most of them will be used for GEJs re-election bid and after that sent on a compulsory leave and that's the end.another voice said babe chairman don enter cool cash'. I participated in ikeja opposite 7up. The only postive there was I got to check my height, weight, got a stanbic IBTC account and got registered at premium pensions of which I still get messages from uptill date. From that day,I made a switch to the progressive, coz PDP is just a SCAM,big FRAUD. I dont feel empathy for this bunch of idiots. It is because people like them dat evil and fraudulent politicians exist. When they were being used wrongly for protesting and promoting PDP fraudulent campaign and propaganda after receiving stipends, they never complained. You beta chase after your Master before they go on exile ncos d incoming govt will not entertain any of ur cries. |

spyder880: I am tempted to drop this group idea and invest in this alone. Because I am afraid of people like this who will come out with the sole intention of frustrating this effort. I know people like this, not likely to allow any good venture to prosper except they know everything about it, they will try to control your initiative or frustrate it if they cannot.
This guy used bully tactics to try and extract the location from me. He knew what he was doing when he started accusing me of leading people to Ugwuogo Nike.
He painted Ugwuogo Nike in very bad lights so I can react and spill my plans.
He also came back today to cast the whole of Enugu outskirts in bad light so I can still tell what my real plans are, but I am not giving him much information so the next option is to label the while thing "monkey business" to further scare investors away.
It will not work brother, I am not telling you anything. I am running this my way or nothing, so I can take responsibility for the success or failure of the project.
I know exactly when to start giving out information to investors about the inner details of this plans. I had planned to give inner information to their private mails, and that was why I demanded they send me private mails so I can send them information when I am ready.
How can I start dishing out location, prices and other plans to everyone on the public when I have not agreed prices and terms with the host community and other stakeholders? So that the whole plans will be hijacked?
I tire o. Mr Spyder, I am definitely with you on this one. I have seen it happen to people. Never reveal your business ideas until it is well secured and completely up and running. And please, once you are ready to start selling, let me know as well. More of God's blessings to your efforts. |
