Wait till you hear the conditions attached to the loans collected by Nigerian Govt from the Chinese Govt, and you go fear conditions. Because the level of our Govt drunkeness no get limit!!!

What a pity. The same people(Boko Haram) just few days ago Nigerian Army Chief Burutai relocated to Borno and vowed to destroy are the same people this same Government is waiting to negotiate with for the release of a Chibok girl.......What a contradiction!!!
And by implication, negotiating with BH means giving them something for the release of the Chibok girl. Something like money, release of captured BH fighters, or what?(someone pls help me here).
This will only empower and enbolden this BH group and take the country back to square-one after they had just been decimated by the Chadian Army.
I wonder if our Nigerian Military still has anything like Intelligence department?

My concern is about the 10 deaths. Majority of the victims are not even known and govt seems to what to keep their identities secret. And the ones that are known already have underlining ailments that are capable of still killing them as well. This brings alot of doubt to the figures being announced of people killed by covid-19.

And the so called experts from China, I hope also that their achievements won't be made secrets as well.

Every sane govt is rejecting help and supplies from China and now Nigerian govt is inviting them. There is no known cure or vaccine for the virus and we all know the precautionary steps, so what exactly are the Chinese team coming to do?
My only guess is they are coming to spread a more dangerous strain that will now cause us the real Pandemic!!!
Please, now is the time to speak out, we do not want Chinese in our country!!!!

Just look at the quality of welding done on the door handle the President is holding onto. "Very poor finishing" is an understatement. If this is true, then this is one of the biggest shame to hit the SE political leadership.
Because all I see is a political plot to tactically halt the construction of this airport by the unscrupulous individuals in power. The next thing you will hear is that the construction of the airport can not continue as there is a case in court concerning the airport.

A poorly produced passport with black and white photo of the bearer. Every other country of the world issues passport with coloured photo of the bearer. And yet we wonder why some countries are rejecting it. This government is really confused!!!

Yesterday I got this new Nigeria passport for my daughter at Ikoyi passport. I was very ashamed with quality of the bearers photograph. Of all the international passport of the world and at this stage of technological advancement, it is only Nigerian passport that has a black and white photo of the bearer....what a shame!!!

Aisha Buhari who spoke on Saturday in Abuja during an interactive programme she organised for women at the Presidential Villa, revealed that the N500bn social investment scheme has failed in the North. 

The First lady who further revealed that the situation in her home state (Adamawa), as far as the implementation was concerned was pathetic, also cited Kano, a highly-populated northern state, as another example where she believed the programme failed, despite the huge funds the Federal Government budgeted for it.

Punch reported that the SIP is domiciled in the Office of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, but its direct implementation is done by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Social Investment, Mrs Maryam Uwais. However Aisha Buhari who stated that the N500bn social investment scheme has failed in North, recounted how  Uwais informed her that 30,000 women would be beneficiaries in Adamawa State. According to her this is yet to come through after 4 years.

“I don’t want to raise the alarm that my state does not benefit from it, where the SGF (Secretary to the Government of the Federation) came from, I kept quiet because I don’t want people to say that I talk too much. Recently, I saw a 74-year-old man selling petty things in Kano, I asked him how much is his capital, he told me between N3,000 and N4,000. Don’t forget that we have campaigned to give the poorest of the poor N5,000 every month.

“So, I don’t know where is the social investment… Maybe, it worked out in some states. In my own state, only a local government benefited out of the 22. I didn’t ask what happened and I don’t want to know, but it failed woefully in Kano, it’s not a good sign and it’s not a good thing."

I think the right questions are, "is the money still available to the State" and "is the investment productive and yielding returns". If yes to these questions I don't see anything wrong with such.
This is the only man in the history of Nigeria that has taken State money and doubled it for the State. Others we know, will squander it on some useless and unproductive investment.
