CrimeSecurity Alert! FG Warns Nigerians Muslims Brotherhood Group Plans Deadly Attack by maxwell767(op): 7:27am On Feb 11, 2017
Segun Adeyemi, Abuja: The Federal Government has alerted Nigerians to the plan by a Boko Haram affiliate, Muslim Brotherhood Cell in Kogi State, to acquire bomb-making chemicals and high-calibre weapons to perpetrate acts of terror, including attacks on banks, arms depots and prisons.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said intelligence monitoring has shown that the cell is making frantic efforts to advance its IED-making capability through the acquisition of such chemicals as Sodium Azide (for producing improvised detonators), Potassium Chlorate.

(alternative to ammonium nitrate used for producing IEDs) and Aluminium Powder (a fuel source for amplifying explosions).

“One Usman, an IED apprentice, left the cell some time back to join Islamic State in Libya. The new desire to acquire IED precursor chemicals could suggest that Usman or other persons may have returned from Libya and have acquired IED-making skills intended to increase the activities of the group,” he said.

The Minister said intelligence also revealed that the group is making serious efforts to acquire sophisticated arms, including shoulder-fired rocket launchers.

“Further intelligence monitoring has revealed that members of the Muslim Brotherhood are planning to forcefully free their members who are in detention in Kogi, Abuja and Kaduna, including one Bilyaminu, an IED expert for the group who is now at Kuje prison,” he said.

Alhaji Mohammed appealed to Nigerians to be vigilant and to report any suspicious persons or movements to the appropriate authorities.

PoliticsRe: Some #istandwithbuhari Supporters Were Promised #1000 To Show Up - TVC by maxwell767(m): 5:37pm On Feb 06, 2017
NgeneUkwenu:
Buhari wasn't president when factories in Ikeja began browning off and selling their facilities to churches.

He wan't here when 80% of SME died away and the rest went on life support.

Buhari wasn't president when landlords were being watched charging rent in US dollars and stores were selling in hard currency.

Buhari wasn't president when wheat farming collapsed and Cote d'Ivore overtook us in Cocoa production.

Buhari didn't destroy Iwopin paper mill or ALSCON in Ikot-Abasi, a single factory that at a point brought in 30% equivalent of what we got from oil.

Buhari didn't take us from net exporter of oil palm products to lazy importers of the same.

Buhari didn't make us importers of petrol and diesel nor is he responsible for killing of the textile industry.

He didn't destroy our forest resources or ran down power stations like Egbin until only three out of twelve turbines work.

People shout policy but there is no policy that can transform a 'post-war' economic environment with the snap of the finger and government should just tell the people that this thing is what it is.

Government also has to water down expectations on oil prices ever rising above 55 dollars because it is just not possible in the age of Shale and renewables.

This nation is cornered and it has no choice than to reform it's lifestyles and go back to work.

It has to reform it's justice system such that it can jail it's thieves and reward those who do things right. We are refusing to allow hardship nudge us in the right direction but prefer to explain our woes as a personal failure of Buhari to draft policy from sheer air.

They were trampling people to death on job queues before he came on board.

Where are your farms to save you from food importation or your refineries to save you from seeking dollars to import fuel?

Where are your schools to educate your children without sending them to foreign universities when you can afford it?

He isn't two years in control yet and I believe he deserves a little more understanding given the gradients of the point where he took over.

Buhari met all these things that way, plus a devastating war that devoured the nation from a region and we have the choice of working with him to restore and rebuild the country or allow ourselves to get us into false sentiments, take advantage of us to return us to the years of the locust.

6 Sets Of People Who Are Earnestly Praying For Buhari To Die And Their Reasons By Ngeneukwenu

The rumour mongers and conspiracy theorists have been very busy since Mr. Presdent travelled for his annual Vacation..Some proclaimed him dead, to some he is in a vegetative state..then to the most ridiculous set, who claim he had been buried in London according to the islamic rites grin

However, having combed the internet and listened to people's conversations in the streets regarding Mr. President rumoured death, I have been able to pick out different sets of people who never wished that Mr. President comes back to the Country alive and their weird reasons for wanting him dead.

1. IPOB Yoots: These people earnestly want Buhari Dead as soon as possible for daring to order the arrest of their Leader who is being tried for treason. Having discovered that Nnamdi has a very little chance of making out of the prison alive if convicted, they feel that Buhari instant death, would be reprived for their incarcerated leader.

2. The Corrupt:

Another group who wish, Mr. President Doesnt come back alive, are those presently undergoing trials in different courts for looting our common patrimony. To these set, if God ganted their prayers, And Buhari, somehow died, there would be no longer the Will to continue their trials in the courts.

3. Those Who Lost Elections in 2015:
These set of people have refused to let bygone be bygone. They always feel they can turn back the hand of the clock...They never imagined that a FULANI MAN let alone Buhari will Become their president one day....They started, their hate campaign immediately the President was sworn in. So Buhari's death to them, would soothe their wailing hearts.

The Religious Bigots:
Remember, from time immemorial Fulani Herdsmen have been killing and destroying people's properties across the country...But this time around, the reportage is different by a section of the media and religious bloggers. They scoop the internet to bring up some old war pictures from Ugandan and Rwanda and tag them Fulani killings to stir up emotions in order to push further their hatred for BUHARI.

Fake Prophets:
A lot of fake pastors and political prophets in a bid to retain memberships had predicated the Death of Buhari, Since their prophesies on his election did not come to pass. So some of them believed since he is already 74 and given the stress of office....he will likely die hence their prayers for his death.

The Boko Haram Members and Supporters:

These group are not with Mr. President, for daring to confront and clearing them off their evil activities in North East!
Consequently the only person Shekau and his supporters want dead immediately is President Buhari!
They said knowledge is wisdom.. But u my friend, ur knowledge is jst a waste of time
