AT the point of discharge, I had spent close to 300k. This was at Ifako Ijaye General hospital.

I realized I didn't answer the colleague question: While I palpitated at work back then still contemplating my resignation, my right hand colleague Martha (not real name) told me one day. She called my name and said if I knew my distance to work is killing me I better resign before the worst happens. She said my health is way important than my job.

Fastforward, one day Ambode demolished the houses on the street she lived at Ejigbo or so then, she had to move to her site at gberigbe in Ikorodu to save funds and channel into her own property albeit uncompleted. She moved bro. Started commuting like I did and one day I was on fb when I saw her obituary. I called some of my old colleagues to inquire and i was told she slumped at ikorodu garage upon alighting and that was it. Dead because she didn't take same advise she gave me.

From Ikorodu to victoria island is how many hours journey

Talking from when I experienced it, 1hr 30mins if there's no traffic at any point and about 6hrs on your return trip home when it's on serious lockdown. We used to move from Ozumba Mbadiwe then around 5pm and get to ikorodu garage by 10-10:30pm. I don't know about now tho cos I ran for my dear life long ago.

It depends but the first thing is the long distance to work. Even if you drive, fatigue will set in with time cos traffic is serious.
For me then, I used to wake at 3am to join staff bus at 5am cos of a job that starts at 8am o. It got to a point I started to use ferry from ebute to law sch but the cost was too much for me as a contract staff tho it was faster. I switched back to staff bus but early wake time and late entry back home took a toll on me. I had to resign for health reasons.
