Super producer Samklef is not happy with Wizkid.

Speaking exclusively to LIB Samklef, who produced Wizkid’s hit single Tease Me and five other songs in Wizkid’s first album, said the superstar singer has not only refused to work with him again, he’s also going about dissing his (Samklef) talent.

“I’m not happy with Wizkid. I like his music, but I don’t like him as a person anymore. The reason I don’t like him anymore is, why do you go about spoiling other people’s business? I never spoiled your business, never came out to say anything bad about you for four years.

So why would you go to an OAP and tell the OAP that the reason why you no longer work with me is because my beat is amateur. What does that mean? Those amateur beats was what brought you to limelight, was what made you meet the same Akon who first dropped ‘Don’t Dull’ on your voice.” Samklef said

I never downgraded him. I showed him love. I used to go to his house…but he never came to mine. He doesn’t know my house. He hasn’t even seen my son before. It means he doesn’t regard me as a friend. Strange things are happening, whether you believe or not and this is one big example. The middle-aged lady who caused a stir at Cappa Bus Stop in the Oshodi area of Lagos State last Friday, after being accused of witchcraft (turning from a bird to human), has died.

Eyewitnesses said the woman had fallen as a ‘bird’ from an electric cable, and confessed to have some sort of metaphysical powers. Although policemen from Mushin Division later took the woman away, she was already unconscious before arriving at the hospital.

Lagos Police PRO, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, while confirming the woman’s death, said:

“Eyewitnesses said there was a bird which fell down and turned into a woman. So, a large crowd gathered round her. She was not attacked. Eventually, when the police got there, they rescued the woman from the surging crowd. But unfortunately, she died, and her body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital’s morgue.”


When Punch visited the area, a policeman at the junction said the woman was coming from the Agbado Ijaiye area of Lagos, and heading for her husband’s residence in Mushin.

It was learnt from eyewitnesses that a bird had been seen flying around the area, and had hit a high tension cable and landed on the ground.

Tragedy struck today, October 12, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) when female hostel, Madam Tinubu Hall, caught fire.

The outbreak started at about 4am in the hostel leading some students to jump from the second floor of the building.

The fire was however said to have been put out quickly and no casualties were recorded.

The extent of the damage caused is still unknown as no official statement has been issued by the school authorities.

The Presidency and PDP leadership have concluded that the only way President Goodluck Jonathan could make any appreciable impact against Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, if he emerges as the APC candidate, is for the government to use federal power to remove about 5 APC governors from office at all cost.

Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory and key member of the APC, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has revealed that the Presidency indeed orchestrated the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako.

Fuming few minutes after the news of Nyako’s removal by the Adamawa State House of Assembly filtered in, El-Rufai stated that the development was capable of “endangering the nation.”

Nasarawa, Edo, Borno and Rivers are next on the Jonathan roadmap...

Writing on his Facebook page on Tuesday, the former minister said the scheming by the Presidency to deal with the APC was not over. He said they have uncovered plots by the Presidency to perfect the impeachment of three more governors from the opposition party.

He listed the governors as:
Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State; Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Umaru Al-Makura of Nasarawa.

“Jonathan’s impunity is endangering the nation. Adamawa APC governor Murtala Nyako was impeached to pave the way for a PDP man to become governor. Nasarawa is next. Then, Rivers and Edo. And President Jonathan thinks that all will be well while he violates the constitution and the law. We will see how it all ends. We have been there before!” he wrote in a post on his Facebook page.

A message on the official Twitter page of a former Kwara State Governor, Bukola Saraki, stated that with the impeachment of Nyako, it seemed as if Nigeria was “heading towards a one-party state.”

Also, Rukaiya, a native of Adamawa State and daughter of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, blamed the impeached governor, Nyako, for his travails. She described Nyako as being “the worst of them all”, adding that it was unfortunate that he could not “handle” the members of the state legislature

“Nyako could not handle the legislators in his own state, he was never a politician in the first instance. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Nyako has really been the worst of them all!” Rukaiya wrote on her Twitter page.
