I did scan today so it says the brain box is where the error is and not from the gear box, how true is this bosses on this thread?
Error codes was cleared, we tested and viola, the transmission ran well when we tested it on express but when I was driving in town, I still experience same issue, what can I do?

You better change your mechanic and that person scanning your vehicle. They actually no nothing. What is the result of the scan. Place it here

Hi, here are the symptoms evident in my EOD 2005 Asian model:
- High fuel consumption
- Pushing the turtle all the way to the ground sometimes and would still not move and other times, it will move with a soft touch (as at today, this one appears solved)
- Black soothe from the exhaust.
- RPM raising itself beyond 1 after setting it between 0.7 and 0.9. This happens after going for a little drive

I've changed the airflow metre as well as the injector mouth but these symptoms persists. Scanner reveals no error. Please what is the issue here??

PS: It was purchased brand new by the previous owner. Also, the car does not come with any O2 sensor surprisingly

Toyota Corolla 2009... Check engine light is ON and indicates P0440 and P0442 (Evaporative emission, small leak). The repair requires introducing smoke in the fuel line to detect the leak but then no mechanic seems to have capacity of handling it in PortHarcourt. Can anyone be of assistance?

Smoke into the fuel line or evap line you meant.

There are other trouble shooting process used in diagnosing this kind of code.

Line pressure disruption within the valve body which has lead to worn out clutches. Replace transmission. By the way changing fluid 200times would solve nothing . What the heck is holt doing in there

Guys I have this issue with my lexus es 350 2013.

When I got the car, whenever I park it, it will automatically fold, and automatically open when I start the engine. But after my car battery was changed, it stopped doing so. I've googled all I could there seems to be a missing button in my car that's supposed to be there. I read somewhere that only Japanese lexus comes with the reset button.

A mechanic said he knows a guy that could reset it, but I haven't met him....

Also my radiator is leaking (I can't tell how come) I load water into it every morning now (which wasn't so before. My mechanic has advice me to buy a new one,. My question is can't be repaired?

A reset procedure can solve that. A mechanic without a coolant pressure tester. Get a competent tech

Well, that's the recommendation I earlier got and I was told the nozzle regulates the fuel entering into the engine.
I don't know if there is a scanner that throws up a code indicating a faulty pump or nozzles or even plugs.
That's why it a challenge to me.

DTCs are not the best way to capture faults on vehicle. Get a competent tech and you should be fine

My Honda city 2006 model have been battling with Nozzle, Fuel Pump and plugs issues due to hard starting issues since last month.

The car have been experiencing Hard starting lately and when mechanics check, they say it's the plugs that it's overfloating and the nozzle isn't good.

So I was told to replace the fuel pump and nozzle, I had already replaced the Plugs 28th February this year, So I replaced the fuel pump twice within a week, the first one worked for 3 days and then I got another one both are V8 fuel pumps though the car is V4 cylinder ( which was the last type of fuel pump I used and it lasted 6months before I had this issue, though not the exact brand of the V8 pump).

But just less than 3 weeks I am experiencing the same hard starting again and it started when I didn't start the car for between 18 -20hours of no usage last week.

I had bought Original GPower Plugs at ₦7,000 for the 4 pieces, this February, but now the Hard Starting seems worse than the 3 times I experienced it last month after I took it to a mechanic yesterday. The plugs and nozzles were cleaned yet the car isn't firing well even when it starts, it takes time to cold run smoothly.

Please what can be done to remedy the issues. I have used the same car for over 18 months with no single record of hard starting before now though was using a 4 cylinder fuel pump initially before switching to a V8 fuel pump after the last 4 cylinder fuel pump had issues and I was advertised by Rewires that V8 will be better for the car and correct some of the issues I was having when I start the car in the mornings and when I am climbing the hilly bad road to my house slowly on my way back home.

Take your vehicle through a diagnostic process that’s first thing first. Secondly get a professional to have it fixed. What has a v8 fuel pump got to do with an i4 engine

Hi Oga Gazzuz pls I need ur assistance cus I'm going crazy here. My car(Nissan Altima 2008) had engine issues and the mechanic worked on the engine. Along the line he(the mechanic)lost the sensor key cus it's push start. I got a new key and ever since the car has not been able to be programmed!!! This is almost a month now. They said it's something called the hammer in the steering lock that is preventing it from programming the new car. We have changed several "hammers" same issue. Next they said it was the BCM,we have changed over 6 BCMs no luck. I am lost. Pls help me Gazzuz u are my last hope. God bless u as U respond to me

I have this same issue. Initially the radiator was leaking, but it has been '' patched '' up. However I noticed that while driving the car the temperature gets to almost half on the dashboard unlike before when it's just a quarter and that makes me need to always pour water inside the radiator every morning. Pls what is causing this over heating issue (Honda crv 2007)

A mechanic that still patches up radiator in this 21st century should quit been a mechanic. Replace mechanic same way you should replace your radiator

Good day gentlemen.please I need suggestions/help or guidance from the forum urgently. So I over filled m coolant way past the max level of my c230 kompressor (my fault which I do regret) just a day I was to go on a very long journey and bearly hours into the journey the lower hose bursted then I got the CHECK COOLANT MESSAGE but didn't stop cause it was a forested area (north).after driving to a safe place I got the hose fixed with the help of a passers-by. In summary, the top gasket was blown and I had the car towed to a benz mechanic who changed one of the piston cause it was FRIED. Took 2days to fix and I continued my journey. Along the road I noticed the care started shorting oil cause I kept getting the ADD 1.5ltr msg like 3 time so on my way coming back I branched same Mech place to lay my complain and he said it's some nut that wher loose and has tightened them. I also noticed milky stuff inside the radiator tank and he said it was from the last blown gasket and oil was inside the radiator which is the one coming out and I should get the radiator flush when I get to my destination. Half way through the journey coming back my car overheated at almost Same place again and the gasket was blown again. Hade it towed to my destination to a benz Mech and he said the FISRT mechanic did a mistake of not changing the whole ring and all. So the rings and the while top cylinder was change since he said the oil one is bad due to excessive heat. After the whole work and the vehicle has started and have been using it for a while now the car is having many problems. Th3 first I notice was that the car smokes atimes ( white smoke I thing cause it's jot always visible) which I took to th3 Mech and he said it's the oil that resided in the exhaust system from the last blown gasket and it will storm when it has burn out but this like over a month and it still smokes. Secondly, there is presence of oil in my coolant tank and on two occasion I hade the coolant rant and the entire radiator system flushed but still there's presence of oil floating on top the coolant and the walls of the tank. Just normal oil, not the milky type and the excuse the Mech gave was same that it's from the last time and it will come out gradually. On 2 occasions he had to put detergent inside the collar tank that it will take are of it but still I haven't seen any improvement. Again my coolant is getting short without any visible leak and no presence of coolant in the engine oil( I just changed the oil today after changing 2 weeks ago. Thirdly, my engine gets excessively overheated that I can't drive for 2 hours straight SOMETIMES. The fan (automatic not direct)is running fine, no thermostat, enough coolant. I took the car to another benz Mech and told him all the noticed symptoms and he told me to change the coolant switch which was Dame ed by the previous mechanics which I did but still the over heating persists. He was suggesting I run the fan direct to help with the overheating which I declined. On my way from the Mech shop after oil change the CHECK COOLANT warning came up twice which I hade to stop for like 20mins. The first time I stopped and check before opening the tank it looked empty then when I tried opening the cap with caution I noticed the pressure from the radiator and the water started coming out ( like boiling) so after allowing it to cool I did little top up . The 2nd time the tank was half empty and I did a top up. So on gett8ng home I called the Mech and he said the best solution is to just get a new engine. Please I need your suggestions, help, contribution, advice. I forgot to add that according to the Mech, my coolant is boiling which isn't supposed to be
