This 2008 Nissan Pathfinder has been a pain in the ass. The problem has been to start it, it is very difficult to start, sometimes wen it does, it can trip off on its own. It has been taken to various mechanics but none has been able to fix it once and for all. The battery has been changed severally, etc. Sometimes a little fuel has to be injected in the engine before it starts, but it's always temporary. Please has anyone else experienced this before, HELP

I had my interview today at US Lagos embassy and my visa was denied instantly without asking questions.

The transcript went like this:
VO: (immediately she saw my I-20) who’s sponsoring you?
Me: My uncle, he’s the CEO of …. They manufacture window blinds and aluminum windows for government and non government entities
VO: what do you do?
Me: I work as a business development executive with so so company.
VO: how much do you earn?
Me: I earn so so amount

VO: I’m sorry we can’t issue your visa

I was like dumbfounded because she didn’t ask about school and all that.

What did I do wrong?

Before the interview started, the person I did my finger print was already like “my passport photo is more than 6 months, bring a new passport when next you come” like she already knew I was going to be denied. Mind you, I took the passport photograph in April and I filled ds-160 in August/September

I also attached my I-20 to this comment, please view it and revert back what could go wrong.

Look at your i20. Answers to your questions are in there. You even said it’s your uncle that is sponsoring and you presented family funds as your proof of funds. My brother you complicated your matter

Dear friends, you have no idea what tech guys are making in the US. As a software engineer working in the US, I know a couple of SWE friends and colleagues (mostly in FAANG) who make more than this every month. So I don't think the VO felt that figure was over-bloated. Just because you do not make such figure, you shouldn't assume that tech guys in the US are not being paid that amount of money, especially for someone like his brother with over 10years of work experience in tech.

Did you get the message at all. The big question here I think IMO!! is that are you sure the very company he mentioned his brother works in. Do they pay up to that amount. The VO knows better my friend

There are lots of examples...Have sold one 13pin gearbox for a nairalander before...by name Afam...after installation his gearbox couldnt shift from gear 1 diagnosed by mech as brainbox issue....brainbox was changed and it was so smooth,have had two of his oda Uber contact me...i believe i still have his testimony

When you don’t have tools you claim it’s a rewire issue. I laugh in Spanish. Same way your unlearned mechanic was or was it you that instructed him to remove a transmission filter. The earlier you realise those mechanics you contract jobs out to fix the U151E transmission and it’s successors do more damage the better for your business
