Hello sir, I just got a used Hyundai sonata 2005 model, manual transmission. Drove all right from the point of purchase to my house, almost 4 hours on the road through traffic and all that without problem. Only stopped once to buy fuel. But since the very next day, car has refused to accelerate. Misfire when revved, vibrates and idles rough. I have change the 4 plugs and air filter but the issue persists. My mechanic is stumped. What could be the problem please?

Plus it smokes when I manage to drive it but the guy is saying that is from bad valve seal. A closer look shows that the engine has been worked on

Most times we believe what we wish to be true.

As for the 2013 camry..
-No 2 cars have the same VIN number.. Expecially from the same manufacturer.
-2013 Hybrid camry were not sold brand new in Nigeria.
-So it was definately imported from ogbodo oyibo.. I guess Canada since mileage is in KM.
-Autocheck vin reports on Canadian or US car are always on point.
-The owner said car was bought brand new.. He did not state what year it was bought.

Here are the possibility:
1st scenerio
Same car from Cosplay report was was imported from Canada, car was fixed, mileage was rolled back and sold to the Nigerian owner as brand new.
Innocent Nigerian user has been using the car since then.. Thinking he bought a brand new car.

2nd Scenerio
Poster is a middle man trying to sell the car and make some money.. As a normal naija guy.. He will say anything to make the sale.

3rd Scenerio
Poster mixed up the vin number he posted

4th scenerio
Brand new car was brought in through cotonou via Bush path(if u know u know) and accident camry was brought in through tincan with full salvaged value customs payment.. Vins was swapped

5th scenerio
Posters is blatantly lying, he knows every every.

One thing is constant sha.. Cosplay report on that specific Vin is very correct.

Could actually be one or more of your listed scenarios but lying blatantly, when things can be uncovered, why damage your own integrity and image??

Well I've seen so many things, people can actually put up a strong defence to support a lie and I'll begin to wonder their upbringing....
But I want to believe the owner was saying the truth... And that there was mix up in cosplay 's findings..
