Politics5 Most Handsome Nigerian Presidents Since 1960(photos) by mayorski22(op): 9:03am On Jan 21, 2016
Since Nigeria got her independence in 196o, at least 13 men have ruled the country both as civilian and as military. However, the most handsome Nigerian presidents are not more than five.
There are some Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who have stood shoulder high above their peers in terms of natural characteristics. A few of them are alive, while some are dead.

1. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida

The Minna state General was the admiration of many people even the Western world while he was the military Head of State. He had a way of getting along with everybody. He was a very handsome man. He also had tooth-gap like Muhammadu Buhari. He piloted the affairs of Nigeria from 1985 to 1993 before he stepped down and handed power over to an interim government.

2. Yakubu Gowon
He is still the youngest person ever to rule Nigeria up to this present moment. The Plateau state general became the Head of State at 32 years of age. He has a dark chocolate complexion. He ruled from 1966 to 1975. He was at the helms of affairs of the nation during the Nigerian Civil war from 1967 to 1970.

3. Umar Musa Yar’AduaAdua

The 2-time governor of Katsina state between 1999 and 2007 died before he could complete his first term presidency. He was the country’s number one citizen from 2007 to 2010.

Yar’Adua was without doubt one of the most handsome Nigerian presidents in the history of the country. He died as a result of heart-related disease.

4. Muhammadu Buhari

While he was the military ruler of Nigeria between 1983 and 1985, he was one of the most handsome military chiefs around. He was tall, lanky and had an aquiline nose. His physique was unique among his peers. He was a charming Fulani man.

Buhari has tooth-gap which is believed to be one of the features of sociable people. He has an infectious smile that attracts the female folks. He is from Katsina state.

5. Rahmat Murtala Mohammed

Mohammed was assassinated in a botched military coup on February 13, 1976. He ruled Nigeria from 1975 to 1976 before he was killed in a coup led by Sukar Bukar Dimka. He was a miltary Head of State. He was from Kano state.

The death of Dorian Powell, 21, came to light

the face… and I get the knife and stabbed him.
Didn’t think I would hurt him but he died and
I’m on the run, pigs looking for me. God knows I
didn’t mean to stab him I was mad as he socked
me in my eyes and just picked someting up.
Sorry, lord, hopefully you forgive me, and sorry,
Dorian Powell. RIP.”

Nairaland General10 Acts That Lead Some Young Guys To Early Grave by mayorski22(op): 7:23am On Jan 15, 2016
1. s*x

My evidence and research have shown that, kitty-cat has devastating effects in the lives of many unmarried dudes which has been leading many of them to early grave. Now that we are in an era where s*x seems to be the most discussed topic on the internet, newspapers and magazines; therefore, nearly every dude wants to show his bedmatics skills to any lady that comes his way. Some dudes even go to the extreme by using all sorts of harmful substances just to show to a lady who falls prey to their gimmicks that are very skillful and a veteran bleeper, and you will begin to wonder if it’s a sort of competition which will bring forth a trophy or something. Funny enough, some will even get laid with another man’s wife, and in that process, they will have epileptic and wave goodbye to the earth.

2. Money
Next in rank, money follows suite after kitty-cat. To a broader view, money can solve virtual every problem in our every day life and yet, the desperate chase of money has a series of terrific and unintended consequences. In recent time, you will see acclaimed men of God Bible quoting verses wrong and using the name of God to fulfill their selfish desire. And let’s not forget the ones who condition the tithes and offering of the church into their pockets and will be riding new generation cars; yahoo guys who seek herbalists for maga to pay; politicians who embezzle public funds and so on. These aforementioned categories of people always end their lives in misery and calamity. They don’t even need to go to heaven to receive their judgment, their punishment is right on earth

3. Alcohol/weed

Alcoholism and regular smoking of weed have also been leading many young dudes to early grave. This is because we Nigerians barely take precautions and do things without moderation even though we know the terrific consequences. After being drunk to stupor, some will drive carelessly and unconsciously ride themselves to out of this earth. I have even witnessed a scene when a dude boasted to his friends that he would drink three two bottles of Aromatic Schnapps. Of course he was able to drink it but guess what? He landed in hell fire few hours later.

4. Gambling

Gambling can become a problematic behavior causing many difficulties. It is typically a progressive addiction that can have many negative psychological, physical and social repercussions. People dealing with this addiction can suffer from depression, migraine, distress, intestinal disorders and other anxiety related problems. Ultimately, gambling can lead to violence and in some cases, suicide. A typical example is Bet9ja, especially when you want to win 10 million Naira, and you gave Chelsea straight win against Leicester City. You are likely to die of hypertension.

5. Cultism
Many students form different anti social groups for friendship, acceptance, validation, to protect and boost the morale of the members but I can tell you that the purpose is seemingly to become tangled up in criminal activities and terrorism. When they are caught in red handed, they are going to be given jungle justice

6. Thuggery

I don’t know what people stand to benefit from thuggery, especially those APC/PDP tyrants who display a degree of thuggery just help accomplish the desires of some politicians after they have been offered a little cash. These people may even lose their lives in the course of thuggery display.

7. Laziness

The Bible says that “No FOOD FOR A LADY MAN” but reverse is the case for some people. They are very lazy yet want to attain a great height in life. (Dem no dey use ear hear money cheesy ). They are so lazy to work, hence, looking for a shortcut to success or become rich. However, they are always looking for sugar mommy that will offer them N100, 000 for a night stand and will swap their destiny with 10 million naira

8. Robbery

In Nigeria, when thieves are caught, people don’t even wait for the Law Enforcement Agents to take charge of the situation. Jungle justice is done immediately. Whether you steal a cube of sugar or a packet of gold circle condom, for all they care. Robbers are likely to end up in early grave

9. Fighting over a Woman

Guys who are caught in this act are nothing but dumb scull in my personal opinion. Why would a dude hear that his girlfriend is having a secret affair with another dude, and he will engage in a physical combat what that dude, without concrete evidence. Some of them will break bottles and will be ready to lay down their lives, all because they don’t want a dude to have a secret affairs with their girlfriends

10. Feel free to add the last one…

Christianity EtcWas John The Baptist Elijah? by mayorski22(op): 7:42am On Jan 12, 2016
Was John the Baptist really the prophet Elijah? Believing that the Bible indicates John to have been Elijah, some people have contended that the Bible supports the idea of reincarnation. Others, noting that John specifically denied being Elijah (John 1:21), have argued that the Bible contradicts itself. Thus this question merits attention for more than one reason. In Malachi 4:5-6, God announced that He would send “Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.” In Luke 1:17, we learn that the angel Gabriel told Zacharias, John’s father, that John would fulfill Malachi 4:6, stating that he would go before the Lord “in the spirit and power of Elijah.” Jesus also identified John as Elijah (Matthew 11:14;17:10-13; Mark 9:11-13). However, when asked by the priests and Levites if he were Elijah, John denied it (John 1:21). How should this denial be understood? First of all, it is noteworthy that John did not apply Malachi 4:6 to himself, but instead quoted Isaiah 40:3 to explain his purpose. Some have concluded from this fact that John did not realize he was Elijah. However, this is extremely unlikely, since Zacharias would surely have told John of Gabriel’s reference to Malachi 4:5-6. It is also noteworthy that Isaiah 40:3 is parallel in thought to Malachi 3:1 (which is closely related to Malachi 4:5-6). In Mark 1:2-3, Mark quotes Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3 together to explain John’s ministry, introducing the quotations with the words, “As it is written in Isaiah the prophet.” These facts indicate that John saw the “voice” in Isaiah 40:3 as a humbler way of expressing the same functional role as described in Malachi, and that he realized he was to function in that role “in the spirit and power of Elijah.” The actual reason for John’s denial that he was “Elijah,” then, is that John was avoiding being acclaimed as Elijah resurrected in the flesh. Apparently the Jews in Jesus’ day expected Elijah himself to come, based on an overly literal interpretation of Malachi. (This would not prove that the Jews believed in reincarnation, rather, they expected Elijah to be raised bodily from the dead by God.) In this sense, John denied that he was “Elijah”; he had come merely “in the spirit and power of Elijah” (Luke 1:17). Because the Jews had misunderstood the Elijah prophecy in Malachi, John instead applied to himself the parallel prophecy in Isaiah 40:3 (John 1:23). When Jesus said that John was “Elijah,” He meant the same thing, namely, that John was to fulfill the same role in his day that Elijah had, as specified in Malachi 4:5-6. That role, specifically, was to call the nation of Israel to repentance. That John’s coming “in the spirit and power of Elijah” did not mean that he was a reincarnation of Elijah can be seen from the example of Elisha. Just before Elijah was taken up into heaven in a flaming chariot, Elisha requested that he be given a double portion of Elijah’s spirit, which was granted to him (II Kings 2:9-15). Obviously, Elisha did not thereby become a reincarnation of Elijah, since they had both lived at the same time, and since Elijah was clearly taken from the earth once and for all in bodily form. (The fact that Elijah did not die but was taken up bodily into heaven also rules out his being reincarnated in John.) However, Elisha received in his prophetic ministry the spiritual power that characterized Elijah’s ministry. Indeed, Elisha’s request for a “double portion” of Elijah’s spirit makes it impossible that he was requesting to incarnate Elijah’s personal spirit, for one’s individual spirit surely cannot be “doubled.” Neither in the case of Elisha, nor in the case of John, then, do we find evidence of a reincarnation of the personal spirit of Elijah. Nor is there any reason to regard John’s statement in John 1:21 as a contradiction of Gabriel’s promise and Jesus’ statements regarding John’s ministry as a kind of second Elijah.
