With this development, the Super Eagles would

CrimeIfa Worshippers Offer To Fight B’haram by mayorski22(op): 10:51pm On Oct 20, 2015
Ifa religious worshippers under the aegis of Ancient Religion Societies of African Descendants International Council have said they are ready to assist Nigeria to combat the Boko Haram insurgents ravaging some states in the North- East.
The Chairman, Executive Working Committee of ARSADIC, Dr. Olalekan Ifagbenuola, said this on Friday at a press conference held at Ile Oduduwa, Ile Ife, to seek government recognition for the group. Ifagbenuola stated that corruption among public office holders was the reason for the increasing rate of crimes in the country, saying this would stop if public office holders were made to take the oath of office in traditional religious ways. He said, “If proper oath of allegiance is taken genuinely, our leaders would not misbehave when they get to power. If the oath is taken in a traditional religious way, they will not misbehave. There must be fear of God in anything we do. “Corrupt leaders in offices promote crimes and if our leaders are honest, the level of crime in the country will greatly reduce. We are ready to assist to tackle insurgency, if we are invited by the government.” He said that the problems confronting the nation should be tackle with seriousness because there could be no meaningful development in an atmosphere devoid of peace. According to him, the umbrella body of the traditional religion worshippers was formerly known as Ancient Religion Societies of African Descendants Association and was registered under companies ordinance in 1957. He, however, stated that there had been a proliferation of traditional religion associations in Nigeria and all over the world but said the traditional worshippers had resolved to one formidable association. Ifagbenuola described religion as an important instrument for development in any nation, saying successful nations, including China and South Africa, had given recognition to all notable religions. “We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria in this era of change to follow suit and give due recognition to the ancient religions. We must quickly state that Nigeria is a complex nation of diverse group of people and culture; therefore, there would be more than one ancient religion in existence,” he added.

PoliticsFull Text Of Governor Fayose’s Independence day by mayorski22(op):
I congratulate you for witnessing another great day
in the life of our dear state. Today marks the 19th
anniversary of the creation of Ekiti State and the
55th independence anniversary of our country,
Nigeria, from colonial powers.
But today calls for sober reflection, going by
events in and around our nation. The situation
has never been this bad in the country and there
is nothing to celebrate.
Our country is growing in age as an independent
country, but there is no corresponding growth in
values. Those who are supposed to help propel
those core values are muzzling the opposition
and the imaginary enemies.
The current leadership in the country should
have the courage to probe all the leaderships of
the past. There should be no sacred cow, if truly
they have anything to offer.
The mismanagement of yesteryears, especially
since we started the Fourth Republic, should be
probed. It will not augur well for our nation, if
we are selective in the dispensation of justice.
Leaders must be equitable and fair to all.
Everybody must be diligent in playing our parts.
The current civilian dispensation in the country
must be supported and allowed to thrive.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan played his
role and posterity will have a good place for him
in history.
He anchored free, credible and fair polls that
ushered in the current leadership in the country.
President Jonathan should be declared the hero
of our democracy and a man of honour.
We must not forget that corruption, terrorism
and lack of peace have their foundations traced to
election rigging.
The Federal Government must address the
dwindling economy and stop selective fight
against corruption and the harassment of
the opposition.
If President Muhammadu Buhari believes in
democracy, he will be judged in the way he
handles Kogi and Bayelsa governorship polls.
Once again, I call on President Buhari to remove
the acting National Chairman of the Independent
National Electoral (INEC), Mrs Amina Zakari; and
the Director-General of the Department of
State Security Service (DSS), Alhaji Lawal Daura.
This will prove that another dictator is not in the
making.
On my part, I will continue to live a life of service
which accounted for my returning to office after
eight years of my illegal removal from office by
one of the worst dictators in history.
Getting our economy out of the woods calls for
the cooperation of all. We must get our priority
right and do what is proper. Let us rediscover
agriculture which used to be the mainstay of our
economy before the discovery of oil.
I cannot end this broadcast without appreciating
you, the good people of Ekiti State, for your
support and for standing by me during turbulent
periods.
It is with your support that we were able to
checkmate those who wanted to throw our state
into confusion.
I pray that we will not witness a return to those
years of locust again in our dear state.
I am also reiterating that I will not let you down
and will continue to enhance your living
conditions and welfare, in spite of the financial
challenges we are facing.
As you all know, we inherited a huge debt burden
and revenue from the Federation Account is
getting smaller each passing month. But I
know that with your prayers and support, those
problems are not insurmountable.
Notwithstanding the huge debt my administration
inherited from the immediate past
administration, and coupled with the lean purse
and dwindling allocations from Abuja, it is
worthy of note that within one year of my
inauguration, I have been able to make a very
glaring difference bordering on good governance,
regular payment of workers’ salaries and
entitlements, maintenance and sustenance of
peace and order in the state.
With you on my side, we will get to our Promised
Land.
I implore you all to continue to support my
administration. All of us cannot be in the same
political party, but destiny has brought
us together in this state.
The party in itself is not as important as the kind
of person who the driver of the party is. We have
no other place to call our own, but Ekiti State.
I wish to close this address by making it clear
that in Ekiti, we cannot afford the funding of
today’s celebration at the expense of payment of
our workers’ salaries which is very paramount to
my administration because I am not given to
playing to the gallery.
While, I wish everybody happy celebration, I
enjoin you to stay at home for the celebration.
Long live Ekiti State.
Long live Nigeria.

CrimeTerrorists Surrender To Troops In North- East Nigeria by mayorski22(op): 10:06pm On Sep 13, 2015
The new strategies being employed by the
military in counter-terrorism operations in
Nigeria’s north-east have started yielding
positive results, with scores of terrorists
surrendering to troops.

Sustained offensive operations, pre-
emptive air strikes by the Nigerian Air
Force and routes blocking by ground
troops, all geared towards constricting
and snuffing out the Boko Haram
terrorists, are strategies that have forced
some terrorists to willingly surrender, the
spokesman for the Nigerian Army, Colonel
Sani Usman, said in a statement on
Sunday.
He said many more were willing to
surrender, but did not give the number of
the terrorists that had surrendered.
“Many of the terrorists that willingly
surrendered painted images of mass panic
and hysteria among their erstwhile
colleagues who are feeling the noose
tightening on their necks with the
relentless efforts of troops and renewed
vigour in operations inspired by the
personal leadership of the Chief of Army
Staff,” the statement further read.

“The Only Option"

Mr Usman said that the terrorists also
seemed to have “an inkling of what
happens to surrendered suspects, as
regards screening and deradicalisation of
innocent ones among them”.
He said that the Nigerian Army in
conjunction with the Nigerian Air Force
and other security agencies would
continue to devise and implement effective
strategies to bring Boko Haram terrorism
to a speedy end.
“It will also continue to receive
surrendering suspects and assures
innocent ones among them that surrender
is the only option open to them,” Mr
Usman stressed.
The Nigerian Army also commended
Nigerians for providing the troops
information that had aided their operation
and emphasised that more information
and support were required to ensure
quicker obliteration of the Boko Haram
scourge in the nation’s north-east.
President Muhammadu Buhari had last
month given the Nigerian Armed Forces
three months to end the insurgency in the
north-east.

RomanceMy Wife Denies Me Of Sex, 75-yr-old Man Tells Court by mayorski22(op): 8:15am On Sep 08, 2015
Ado-Ekiti—An Ado-Ekiti customary court,
yesterday, dissolved the 26-year marriage
between a bricklayer, James Kayode Oguntuase
and his wife, Felicia, over sexual starvation and
sundry acts.
Oguntuase, 75, had sued Felicia, 53, a trader, to
court, accusing her of denying him sex, adultery,
stealing and stubbornness, allegations which the
respondent denied.
The petitioner told the court that he had caught
his wife with three different men, adding that she
had aborted three pregnancies for her lovers.
Oguntuase also alleged that his estranged wife
stole N35,000 belonging to him, being money
meant for the purchase of carpentry materials,
revealing that he had dragged his wife to court in
2013 on account of alleged sexual escapades.
He prayed the court for the custody of the
children, promising to be responsible for their
upkeep
The union was blessed with six children,
including Caroline, 25; Peter, 23; Akin, 18; Ife, 15;
Rachel, 12; and Tolulope, 6.
‘Why I refused him sex’
However, the wife, in her response, said she
denied the petitioner sex on grounds of ill-
health, and also denied the allegations of
adultery and stealing.
She urged the court not to dissolve the union.
Court president, Joseph Ogunsemi, dissolved the
union, saying the marriage had broken down
irretrievably as the two parties failed to avail
themselves of the opportunity given to settle the
dispute amicably.
The court also awarded custody of the children
below the age of 18 to the petitioner, while Peter
and Akin, who are above 18 are free to decide
where to live.
The petitioner was also ordered by the court to
arrange for an alternative accommodation for the
respondent, the cost of which should not be more
than N60,000 and not less than N48,000 per
annum.
The court ordered that the petitioner should pay
for two years rent for the new accommodation for
the respondent and he is also expected to bear
the cost of transporting her luggage to the new
place.
The court ordered the respondent to always assist
the petitioner in the upkeep of the under-aged
children, while she should be allowed access to
them between 7a.m. and 6p.m. on the day she
chooses to visit.

CelebritiesI Went Into Acting For Money But Found Fun – Adibeli Ify by mayorski22(op): 8:54am On Aug 30, 2015
[ Nollywood upcoming actress, Adibeli Ify had her
first shot at acting at the age of sixteen. For her
the experience and the money that came with it
was so good she decided it would be more than
one-off thing. She said she was paid N5,000 just
to dance in a film.
To her, that was a hook she wouldn’t let go
herself. But along the line, the money she
thought would be rolling in faster than she could
spend it ran into a lull.
Now, what sustains her is her passion for the job
and the fun she claims to have found “At first my
going into acting was for the money after I was
paid N5,000 at 16 in my first movie just to dance.
So, I thought it would continue but I found out
otherwise.
Right now it is all about fun and love for the job.
Now, if you ask me I wouldn’t say there is much
money as I thought. Its very much hardwork and
you have to pay your dues before you are even
recognised. But right now I am loving it and
getting to know more people in the process” she
said.}.

Romance10 Reasons Why D Women's Bre*asts Are Gr8 Attraction To Men by mayorski22(op): 8:45am On Aug 28, 2015
It’s a well known fact that most men’s eyes tend to gravitate towards most women’s bre.asts. But what is it that heterosexual men find so attractive in a women’s hooters? And are those bigger bre.asts always more attractive in a man’s eyes? What do you call them? There are countless pet names given to a woman’s fun bags, most of which are made up by men. Many are funny, some personal, and others just plain vulgar. We’ve added a few to this post in our attempt to amuse. Now we don’t pretend to have all the answers, but below here are 10 little known, and fascinating facts, about man’s relationship with women’s bre.asts. Hopefully our collection of verities here will help to explain the phenomenon better. Fact 1: Climate Change! When it comes to bre.asts, men are attracted to what they see less often. This means your average male is less attracted to a woman’s bra bullets in the summer than during the winter. No surprise then that men are less drawn to bo.obs in tropical climates than in cold climates. So it comes as no revelation then why men from cultures whose women are always fully clothed in public, tend to be especially ‘appreciative’ of a lady’s bosoms. Fact 2: It all begins with Motherly Love Men are hard-wired to respond to anything that reminds them of nursing at their mothers’ bre.asts. If mother nurses her son while wearing perfume (the experiments were performed with chamomile), then years later he will associate that odor with bre.asts. This is also why some men get turned on, strange as it may sound, by drinking milk. If a mother holds her son at her bre.ast while feeding him formula flavoured with vanilla, guess what? The rest of his life he will associate vanilla, even if trace quantities, with being at his mother’s bre.ast, albeit subconsciously. Fact 3: Facing the Fetish When a man is looking a woman in the eyes, he is still thinking about her shoulder boulders. Psychologists have found that men learn to associate facial skin tone and facial features with bre.ast size and shape. Facial cues give men hints about the rest of a woman’s body. Fact 4: The Viewpoint! Men typically prefer to look at bre.asts head-on rather than from the side. While too much should not be read into this finding, social researchers have found that men are more sexually engaged when they look down at a woman’s bre.asts than when they look over to them. Fact 5: Big Size Matters Men are generally turned on by larger jugs of women who appear not to have had children. If bre.asts are ‘perky’ then size makes them even more attractive. Fact 6: Small Size Matters Men are turned off by larger bre.asts of women who have had children. When her fun bags droop, smaller bosoms are more attractive than the larger mammaries. Mature women are found to be more attractive if they have smaller bre.asts. Fact 7: Man’s Relationship with Bre.asts Psychologists at the University of Wroclaw in Poland found, not surprisingly to most of us, that men who are looking for short-term, low- commitment relationships, tend to prefer those women who have large chest-bollocks. And men who are looking for long-term, high- commitment relationships, tend to prefer women who have smaller baps. Fact 8: Average Bo.obs Win Hands Down! ‘Beautiful’ bre.asts, for most male observers, are not necessarily sexually attractive. German researchers have found that “average” bon-bons tend to be considered more beautiful than those that are unusual in shape, color, or size. Men are not necessarily turned on by the aesthetics of the female buzoom. This is to say cosmetic procedures usually do more for the woman than for the man or men in her life. Fact 9: The Areola Phenomenon The areola (brown tissue around the ni.pple) is more attractive when larger in women of child- bearing age, but more attractive if smaller in women past reproductive age. Fact 10: Men don’t trust Women with Big Bazongas Many blokes avoid women with larger bre.asts because of an assumption that they are less likely to be faithful to them. This doesn’t mean it’s so, it just means some men think it is. Those guys looking for mothers for their children seldom settle for the woman who is the most endowed – at least in most European, Asian, and American cultures.
