DaPhilosopher: Colonel Hamid Ibrahim Alli is a brave Kano Prince. He was a military governor of Kaduna state and a diehard IBB boy who is reputed to have made the statement “I can follow IBB to war blindfolded” to show how much he believed in IBB as a general. But that didn’t stop him from looking IBB in the face and telling him he was wrong on the case of the annulment of June 12 1993 elections.
He lost his commission because he refused to support the annulment of the June 12 election and Abacha’s takeover of government instead of handing over to MKO. Despite his famous dislike for MKO, whom he saw as an arrogant man, he insisted justice and fairplay must be done. He demanded MKO be sworn in even if he was a devil.
Rumour has it that he would have been killed if not because he was a blue blood. He left the Army and government unceremoniously, a simple man without money or scandal. According to reports, he is into poultry farming and still drives a 504 Peugeot.
Colonel Hamid Ibrahim Ali is currently undergoing SSS screening in preparation for his appointment.Immediately there were feelers that he will emerge the next EFCC Chairman, corrupt politicians have been on panic mode. Some have started refunding stolen funds.

carik: Things have worsened in yaba college of technology after the school has refused to begin the sale of hostel accommodation form a month after resumption.
The school authority has given no reason for it and the students suffer and go through a lot.
Its bad to see students who come from different parts of the country and have no relative in lagos sleep in classrooms to meet up with lectures and assignments.
Most of them have resorted to sleeping in classes. It is very bad to see students wash their clothes and dry it in classroom to the extent of taking their bath outside classes and all corners of the school very early in the morning around 4 a.m
It has been happening for many years and nothing is done about it.
We need the authorities to see this because it is inhumane

.... But come to think of this, this Aziza guy isn't the first Nigerian to achieve such an unimaginable feat. My younger brother Kasali achieved similar feat by having hat-trick of commendable results at 3 renowned tertiary institutions. He got a lower credit from Yabatech on his OND certificate, proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos where he commendably bagged Third Class honours. After staying 3 years at home with no job forthcoming, I personally sponsored him to study again at Covenant University, hoping things would turn out good this time around, admonishing him on the need to make First class to right all his wrongs. The 1diot choose to make it a hat-trick of results by bagging another commendable Third-class at Covenant University. Such a useless 1diot . Omo ale jati jati!

Politics › Re: Why APC Postponed NASS Inauguration - Vanguard by mayyorr01(m): 10:34am On Jun 09, 2015 |
CharlesPhc: ABUJA-MORE facts emerged Tuesday why the All Progressives Congress, APC, postponed the inauguration of the 8th Assembly.
Sources close to the party told Vanguard that the adoption of Senator Ike Ekweramadu as Senator Bukola Saraki’s deputy invoked the wrath of the APC leadership and ordered that the inauguration should be shifted to a later date.
According to one of the sources, the party never bargained for a diluted government in whatever level and would do everything to stop the anti-party activities of some of their members.
He said,”honestly we never expected this sudden interest of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP that had initially said it was not interested in NASS leadership to now start championing it”.
“We got hint of this development at about 4.am and had to swing into action”.
“This sudden interest of the PDP was why we shifted the inauguration and ensure we put the House in order before another date will be scheduled”.
“As you know the Hon Yakubu Dogara camp went too far in all they have done in the last two weeks heating the polity unnecessarily for no just cause”.
“On Monday night we had a parade of those that will vote for Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and 203 lawmakers signified their interest so it could have been a done deal if not for the antics of some of us who want power by all means”.
“Nigerians did not vote for a diluted government rather they voted for change and a positive change for that matter”.
“One thing I can assure you of is that the APC will cross this bridge without a stain and the PDP will woefully fail”.
Another source also spoke in the same vein saying”we can’t inaugurate the House for now until we get a clear signal that the coast is clear”.

siraj1402: Unknown gunmen have kidnapped Princess Mojisola Omosowon, the regent of Akungba Akoko township in Ondo state, a palace source has told Saharareporters.
