andrew444: Yes my brother you said the truth, but most Nigerians will call for German born or co to make the team automatically, the guy said if they invite those players omeruo is out, what's makes him think omeruo is out without him seeing them impress,if you read that part I doubt you will say such a thing, why can't he wait for the performance of those German born and see if they deserve to put omeruo out,you just believe they will just get into the team before they are German and co,and once again nothing makes us backward if you read well you will not say such statement, how can someone say if those German boys is being called up omeruo is out,you failed to read that side. The guy you quoted is not even Rohr, he even went on to say he is confident they would perform. That is the same as Oga Forgiveness saying Obafemi would outclass Any other striker we currently parade. Just Exactly the same thing most of us do here calling for our prefered players. Does it make us backward? Oh yes, capital YES. England and USA has been enjoying Sports men/women of Nigerian background and other Nationalities because they are open minded. Which leaves them with múltiple choice of choosing the best of the bests in Sports competitions. Imagine if they are going about looking for a supposed "full breed"? USA Economy was not built 100% by " full breed" , thanks to their open mind culture . Your choice of words has the same weight as what Sunday Oliseh said about Ekong and oyinbo players. Very discriminatory. It is just like saying you are not entitled to the benefits of your umunna, because dem born you Outside your village. |

andrew444: Lol okay oo,Nigerians believe in halfcast that full breed Nigerians just because of the oyinbo syndrome What are you talking? Ain't they Nigerians again? Which one is full breed? This kind of mentality is what made us backward as a people. He has the same opportunity to impress just like everyother person in the team. |

Icon79: Joel Chukwuma Obi is putting on another good shift for Torino against Juvenile today. Going by his performances over the past few weeks, I will expect him to make the Super Eagles World Cup team. But to be fair, I am not sure that he can start ahead of Ndidi or Onazi.
We shall see.

TheGoodJoe: Note, due to my watching almost every game of Ederson for Manchester City this season and watching little of Alisson, sparked my disagreement of the statement that Alisson is a way way better goalkeeper than Ederson.
Watched a clip of Alisson and I did not see saves he has pulled off that Ederson can not make or even better. His footie tricks are not over Ederson too.
The Pele of goalkeepers statement came from Tafarel, the goalkeeper coach of the Brazilians. More to me like Tafarel justifying his picking of Alisson.
Cesar who is a compatriot rate both highly. No clear statement of rating one higher.
Fifa 18 rates Ederson as the better goalkeeper but I will put the fact that it is easier to have a clean sheet playing in Guardiola's system than the system Alisson plays in Italy.
So I think Ederson and Alisson are both wonderful choices. The selection is up to the keeper coach.
I do not think Alisson can replicate the long throws or ball rolls Ederson does or the long clearances which help build counters for our team. However, Guardiola's system also helps these to occur.
Nice keepers but with what I have studied, I do not think Alisson is far a better keeper or even a better keeper.
Final verdict after watching a few of Alisson's games. As a Manchester City fan, I'm meant to rate Ederson above Allison, but I won't do that now. Roma is not close Manchester City in general team quality, yet he got highly rated. |

goldfish80: One thing is for sure, he will go for a hefty sum. Roma made a huge error in judgement selling Salah £40M which was 1/3 his worth. They wont repeat that same error with Allison. Any club wishing to get him, must be willing to pay hefty sum. He's interesting Real Madrid, so I heard. If that happens, Ederson go be second keeper for Brazilian National team for a very long period Na this kain competitions I like. |

ChrisKels: A good but very beatable team with a washed up full back like Alvez, selfish Neymar, over hyped Gabby and an average goalkeeper Alisson . Nothing really to send chills down opponents' spine.
No cohesion, bunch of individual players who doesn't know the true definition of a team .
Germany awaits them. France will even do better against Germany than Brazil I laugh you, I don't think Allison is average from the stats I read about him. Liverpool and PSG got eyes on him. He refused to sign new deal at Roma. if Liverpool Or PSG signs him, he could be the most expensive signing for a keeper. He made 80% saves so far He is above average IMO

Brazil is too blessed than others with quality players. The one way dey pain me pass is that their players no dey play yeye club/League. Big names, big clubs |

forgiveness: Argentina Midfielder: If You Think Our Group Is Easy, You Know Nothing About Football
Published: February 14, 2018
Argentina Midfielder: If You Think Our Group Is Easy, You Know Nothing About Football AC Milan's Argentina international Lucas Biglia believes that they are in a difficult group at the 2018 World Cup where they are up against African powerhouse Nigeria, Croatia and Iceland.
In addition, the 32-year-old admitted that Argentina rely on Lionel Messi too much and are not candidates to win the World Cup.
''We got used to throwing a giant backpack to (Lionel) Messi, if we continue like this we will be strong and without him a normal team, today Argentina is not a candidate to win the World Cup, we have to work a lot, we depend a lot on Messi and that's not good, '' Biglia told Fox Sports.
''As much as we learn to play without Messi we always depend on him because he changes the game in a second.
''It is not an easy group, anyone who thinks that does not know anything about football.''
Biglia, who has 55 caps for the Albiceleste, came off the bench for the South Americans in their 3-2 win over the Super Eagles at Brazil 2014.
