Politics › Re: There Are More Ibos In Lagos Than In Any Of The 5 Ibo States by Mbanda(m): 3:12pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
DomPerignon: According to one poster here who opened their usual chest bearing thread, Ibos are 45% of Lagos population.
If so, going by 2006 census that put Lagos population at close to 10 million and relying on Biafra ministry of Lambastic statistics, that means Ibos in Lagos are at least 4.5million..
For same 2006 census, no state in the SE had a population up to 4.5 million .
So that means there are more Ibos on lagos than in the any SE state.
Is this not pathetic ? You and Lagos all the time what kind of mentality is this? Why are you so so obsessed with a state you are not from? |

Nayturalistic: Direct Quotes from Sir Ahmadu Bello in the ever-popular 1960 BBC Interview.
Q: "One thing I have noticed while I have been here is that northerners seem to have the worst form of obsession about the Igbos. Could you please explain that?"
Ahmadu Bello:
> “Well, the Igbos are mainly the type of people whose desire is to dominate everybody. If they go to the village or town, they want to monopolise everything in that area.”
> “If you put them as a labourer, within a year they will try to emerge as the headman of that camp... and so on... well.” Tell us if history will be kind to such a man. |

flokii: You want them to return home and invest but same you will be the one drumming support for IPOB, ESN and whatnot to continue terrorizing Igbos in their region..
First start by asking your leaders to create business-friendly environment for the Easterners who love doing business to thrive at home. you need good roads, water and electricity supply, inland dry ports etc.
Then you make efforts to keep your enclave safe and secure from terror groups. Stop the practice of covering up crimes because your brothers and sisters are the ones commiting them. The ugly outcome of crime won't differentiate Igbos from others that'll be at the receiving end. I'm sure over 80% of fak.e drugs and coun.terfeit products are right there in South East markets.
Lastly, consider our acts as a goodwill to make your folks look home, think home and go home. It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. What has drumming support for IPOB/ESN got to do with the issue at hand? Is it ipob/ESN that is causing ronubandits to be misbehaving? You don't want IPOB/ESN but you don't want to stop the ruhbbish that gave birth to the groups. Yeye dey smell. |
