Politics › Re: APC Online Supporters And Hypocrisy by Mbanda(m): 6:50am On Feb 18 |
FatimaAbubakar: I saw a thread about a UK based woman calling out Obi Cubana for promoting a government he doesn't believe in. As usual, APC online donkeys invaded the thread to accuse the woman of trying to coerce people to vote for her choice. I laughed because these shameless beings don't even understand the word COERCE. The lady was simply highlighting the hypocrisy of Obi Cubana. You're promoting a government that has brought untold hardship to millions of Nigerians, yet your family is seeking a better life in another man's country. If the government you're promoting was that good, why ain't your wife and kids in Nigeria to enjoy the goodies of the said government? Same people that were criticizing the woman were still the ones that were praising MC Oluomo, the Oba of Lagos, and Tinumbu's thugs when they were harrassing people to vote for only APC candidates. A poor woman was even beaten for voting for her choice candidate. What do we call that? Shameless hypocrites! They will soon invade your thread just to spew trash. |

Politics › Re: Why Peter Obi Will Not Do Well In The Middle Belt In 2027 by Mbanda(m): 7:55pm On Feb 17 |
YourGFsnatcher: In 2023, Peter Obi had overwhelming support from the middle belt region.
This is because he came as a "clean" politician. He came as someone with fresh ideas and he distanced himself from the usual "corrupt" politicians we all know. That strategy gave him a fresh look, the hope we have been waiting for.
His decampment to ADC ruined everything, it ruined his reputation, the man we once though was an is beginning to look like the same politicians we have been trying to run away from. This is not because he is a bad person, but because he has decided to align himself with the same people that ruined this country. That is a very bad political move. He just lost his major selling point.
There's no issue that concerns middle like like that of security. As people who are constantly persecuted and killed because of their faith, the hope of getting a president who will defend them is the most important issue on their table. There's no other issue that appeals to a middle belter than that of security.
There are specific people that will NEVER get approval in the middle belt due to their religious biases and how they have been perceived to be the architects of insecurity and persecution of Christians in the middle belt.
The number one person on the list is E Rufai. He has been known to be a "hater" of Christians and all his moves is about how Christians can be dealt with. He is no stranger to religious fanastism. The second one is Atiku, this man even deleted a tweet that he allegedly condemned Deborah's murder. That sent a strong message, the middle belt doesn't forget things like this.
For Obi to get involved with these people as his party men is a bad calculation. We voted for him in 2023 because he showed he was unique, now that we know who his friends are, his votes will drastically reduce in the middle belt of the people around him.
As the saying goes, show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.
I wish him well I doubt you ever supported Obi in 2023. Because if you did support Obi during the 2023 election, you wouldn't want him to remain in a political party that tinibu and his gang destroyed. |

Social media is currently awash with disturbing reports that the All Progressives Congress’ Ondo State Chapter’s Chairman was physically assaulted today. This conduct is primitive at best and inhuman at worst.
I have always maintained that we have an insatiable appetite for manhandling one another in Nigeria, frequently turning to violence at the slightest provocation.
It is particularly alarming that this thuggery exists among those seeking high public office. If those who wish to lead millions cannot govern their own tempers, how can they be trusted to safeguard the welfare of the people? This is all shades of wrongful conduct! What could he have done to warrant “a minor form of jungle justice?”

Politics › Re: Why Has Obi Not Spoken Against The Evil Of IPOB And ESN? — Asari Dokubo Reveals by Mbanda(m): 7:02pm On Feb 16 |
dododawa1: Mujahid Asari Dokubo, the Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, has questioned the stance of former presidential candidate Peter Obi regarding the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
Dokubo, a former militant leader from the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta and President-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (Ameer Muminin) for the South-East and South-South regions, made the remarks during a live video session on his official Facebook page on Friday, February 13, 2026.
During the broadcast, he raised concerns over what he described as a lack of public condemnation from Obi concerning alleged actions attributed to IPOB and ESN.
He stated, “Why has Peter Obi not spoken against the evil of IPOB and ESN? Why has he not with the atrocities, the killings, the evil they perpetrated more than all other people? Why has he not spoken against it? Because he is afraid that in the election they will turn against him.”
Dokubo also addressed broader issues of leadership and accountability, asserting that no justification could be offered for acts of violence. He said, “And which is why I always say i don’t like Sheikh Gumi. I don’t like him because you can’t justify evil. There is no way you can justify evil. I don’t like the Northern leaders, they are evil. The Northern leaders should know that you can’t justify evil. Even the Igbo elders.” Asari, that is because Obi knows the truth. He knows that the so-called "insecurity" in SE is state sponsored and you and your hungry boys are the real actors. Many of the people in SE have proof of this. That's why no media propaganda can change majority of Ndígbo mind on the things that concerns MNK. |
Politics › Re: 2027 Elections: Reno Omokri Raises Concerns About Starlink Following X Outage by Mbanda(m): 6:53pm On Feb 16 |
TITOPE: Starlinks Failed X (Twitter) Today, Yet, Peter Obi And Co Want INEC To Use It For The 2027 Elections!
Today, X, formerly Twitter, experienced a global outage that lasted for hours. This is a site that has the most advanced servers and is linked to Starlink (please fact-check me), which is used to facilitate its operations. Yet it still went down today, and you and I couldn't access it.
And you are now saying that the Nigerian Senate should pass laws compelling the Independent National Electoral Commission to provide real-time election results? Let us not be emotional in this country.
Some politicians, including a particular Senator, as well as activists, even said Nigeria should invite Starlink to help INEC provide real-time election results.
First of all, Starlink is a private company. As a country, it would be most irresponsible to allow a private firm to breach the privacy and personal data of your citizens, including their photos, fingerprints, and National Identification Numbers.
But beyond that, X relies on Starlink. And Starlink did not save them from today's outage.
So, I support Electronic Transmission of Results, and it must be in the Electoral Act. But I do not endorse real-time electronic transmission of results.
No country does that. Including Brazil and Estonia, which some misguided people cite. In those countries, results are sent electronically only AFTER polls have closed, which is what we want in Nigeria.
Even America, the home country of Starlink, does not have real-time transmission of results—ditto for the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
It is only people like the self-confessed accessories to hackers, like Nasir el-Rufa'i, who want INEC to go that route. And of course, we now know why!
Electronic transmission, not real-time transmission.

Reno Omokri, former presidential spokesman to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and ambassador-designate, continued his remarks on electronic transmission of election results during an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
During the exchange, the interviewer asked, “Do you send money to… Do you have anybody in the village, in the remote area where you send money to?”
Responding, Omokri said, “No, no, I’m not going to digress. I’m going to answer the question. I have tried to send money using Peter Obi’s bank and the money has failed to get there. And that money has failed to get reversed.”
He added, “And then the person who did that transaction is here. I can ask him to come here. He made a complaint. And we are still waiting for that money to come back.”

Drawing a broader comparison, he stated, “Now, this bank is not going to be with everybody, but a significant portion, and it’s not just this bank, a lot of banks. So yes, banks do have the capacity for real-time money transfer, but it is not a 100% safe.”

FSBoperator: And what did they gain?
The FG has made their case clear and they even sent several high profile SS dignitaries to outline the boundaries of Biafra that they are not interested in being part of your useless Biafra.
All the lobby down the drain and now the US knows that your IPOB was in no position to dictate for the SS which you were using their oil and coastal waters as bargaining chips.
Same useless Eastern Nigeria that the British created arbitrarily without consulting anyone and which on the onset was froth with discontent due to you Ibos being overbearing and domineering on the minorities.
What even led to the coup of Jan 15? Was it not to stall Federal Parliament discussing a motion for the creation of COR region?
What led to your Ojukwu declaring Biafra ? Was it not after Gowon finally liberated the SS people from your dead yeast?
Now back to the senseless lobby that has only shown how you guys are hell bent on restarting your parasitic Eastern Nigeria, what did you achieve with the 6months $66,000 per month contract? NADA, ZILCH. All money down the drain.
The FG outspent your IPOB but we have gotten more bang per buck. The US sent military aid worth in the tens of millions and there is now solid diplomatic and military alliance between Nigeria and US. Even Remi Tinubu got an invite to the WH prayer session with Trump acknowledging her presence.
Keep fooling And you think the US are draft to the extent that, they will swallow the lies of the Nigerian government hook line and sinker without investigation? By the way, where did you get that junk of a news from? Have you forgotten in a hurry how the federal government of Nigeria, did everything in their power to stop US from taking the fight against terrorism in Nigeria upon themselves (the US)? What baffles me is that a yolobah man whose ancestors forced a lot of minority tribes into becoming yolobahs by conquest, is now telling the great Igbos that never conquered anyone or tribe because of, the Igbo believe system that supports "live and let live". A yolobah man is now telling me that Igbos are over bearing and domineering on the minorities The events of the Jan 15th 1966 coup has become an over flogged lie and propaganda by agents of lies and deceit. The grandfathers and fathers of the agents of lies and deceit twisted the narratives, and facts of what really happened. Thank god for ademoyega and IBB for writing the truth in their books. You said that Ojukwu declared Biafra because Gowon liberated the SS Abeg, who do you think you are telling all these lies? A child or what? Anyway, the answer for what made Ojukwu declare Biafra is below. You said that SE is parasitic but the FG has refused to let the so-called parasitic region to leave Nigeria. SE is parasitic but, the highest gas reserve in Africa is in the same parasitic SE. SE has a lot of mineral resources which the FG don't want them to be on the known because, they don't want SE people to know their worth. But the FG has failed woeful on this because, easterners are not daft they can see even through steel not even glass, that's why they want Biafra. As of the good work IPOB is doing in the US, don't expect that to end anytime soon because IPOB knows that consistency is the key. But come to think of it, have you wondered how a group of people the Nigerian state tagged "terrorist group" is causing sleepless nights for Nigeria internationally?
