The coup of January 15 1966 was not targeted on any ethnic group or groups. Rather the young military men (Nzeogwu and co.) did what they thought was the best for the country (go and study the January 15 boys).

If the coup that was led by Nzeogwu, was about ethnicity, the January 15 boys wouldn't have killed Arthur Unegbe (an Igbo man incharge of armoury).

And let me say this for the records, the January 15 1966 boys did not consult the Igbo tribe nor leaders, before doing what they did. That is to say that anybody or tribe tagging their coup as "Igbo coup" is a liar and a mischief maker, that has a devilish ulterior motive.

Lastly, my enemy cannot tell me my history I won't allow that because, there's every tendency he will lie to me. So any history that has to do with my tribe, what I always do is to check the name of the author or the organisation that wrote the book. If the author of the book happens to be a white man I will check if he is British. If the author is a Black man I will check if he is yoruba and on who's influence he wrote the book.

Secondly, coup is not a good thing. In a saner clime, coup plotters are charged with treason when caught. But in the case of murtala Mohamed his name was immortalised by putting his picture on 20 naira bill. Because we are in Nigeria where sh!t flies. And you are here justifying what he did because he is not Igbo.

You are here again shouting that Obi worked under Abach, but you forgot that buhari whom you lots voted and supported also worked under Abacha. That's hypocrisy and double standard.
