@topic, my stand on this boko haram annihilation still remains "the Nigeria military have totally failed and they don't deserve any praises"... For good six years the Nigeria army( a one time formidable force in Africa) couldn't dislodge a rag-tag untrained silly rag-heads called boko haram. It is when a very shattered chadian army came to the rescue that the Nigeria army suddenly woke up from it slumbers.... Is a shame

We have watched events in Kwara state over the last few years and it is apparent that the biggest problem that kwara state has is Bukola Saraki. We make bold to say this and anybody that want to challenge should come forward with facts. We have been proved right time and time over.
But the only common ground that kwara people and Bukola Saraki and his cohorts share is the view that kwara needs a change. The people of kwara are singing it, Saraki followers are screaming it, and so we believe that time for change has truly come.
In the true sense of it, people of kwara will deliver themselves this time around come April, 2015.
Kwara people, Kwara people, Kwara people, how many times have we called you, this is our time, please come out on election date and vote this bastard out.
We beg president Goodluck Jonathan to do us this favour by disallowing rigging. Kwara people want to show the whole nation that Olusola Saraki group has never won election in kwara state, but has been stealing our mandate with federal might. Now that federal support has eluded Bukola Saraki, Kwara people want to take him up at the polls.
Once again we beg president Goodluck Jonathan to do kwara people this singular favour, please sir, make sure all avenues for rigging is closed and we can assure Nigerians that Saraki's so called Dynasty will be dead and buried. Kwara people this time around will be the beneficiary of federal might, but we will not be involved in rigging but wish that every vote be allowed to count.
After the election, then Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatah Ahmed will be made to account for their boundless atrocities against Kwara people.
We know their atrocities and no amount of cover ups can save them. Despite all image laundering done by Prince Tunji Morohunfoye denying Saraki and Ahmed' atrocities, are the facts not coming out now?
We all know Tunji Morohunfoye and Opera Saraki are mere front in the deal and they will be given small change, but the real culprits are Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatah Ahmed.
Ahmed also is the lesser of the two evils, if that one gets his own Indian hemp and ladies with Oshodi Oke, then every thing is settled. But, Bukola is nothing but crime impersonated. This is why many Nigerians still wonder what General Buhari wants that will make himself associate with the likes of Bukola Saraki, Rotimi Amechie and Bola Tinubu. Honestly, we kwarans know that if a man wakes up and meet Bukola Saraki first, then he needs to go back to sleep immediately to reawake if he must have a nice day. Nigerians have failed to ask Progressives Bukola Saraki and Rotimi Amechie what role they played as Chairmen of Nigeria' Governors Forum along with Umar Yar'Adua In squandering the $22billion excess crude fund . In their Era, AL Jazeera TV called Nigeria a 'kleptocracy'

Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, on Thursday said he had uncovered plots by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) in connivance with former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa, to induce some university dons who would serve as returning officers to rig the March 28 presidential poll in Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).He also likened President Goodluck Jonathan to former President of Cote d’Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo, who was bent on remaining in power at all costs.Wamakko made the allegation while receiving members of the Savannah Centre Council of the Wise led by its Coordinator, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, at the Government House, Sokoto.He alleged that the NSA held a secret meeting with the university dons few days ago in the three states in a bid to induce them so that they would announce the results of the presidential poll even before the conclusion of the election.Wamakko alleged that Dasuki’s sinister plots for the three states was to justify the position he occupies and the money collected from the presidency.“Let me tell you frankly that just last few days, the NSA came to Sokoto and he was in Kebbi because he is trying to justify that he is working for Jonathan.“He went extra mile to consult with some university lecturers  who are going to serve as returning officers in Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States that when the election is going on, they should go ahead and announce the result and they will be given military and police protection.“And whatever happens, he does not care. So, I want this council and Nigerians to  be aware that whatever that will happen in these three states, Dasuki should be held responsible.“He came personally and made these plans in connivance with Bafarawa and a former minister so that results are going to be announced even before the election is finished. They are people who do not wish this country well,” he said.He stated that the wanton killings in the North-east was enough to warrant the resignation of all the service chiefs including the NSA.Wamakko accused Jonathan of desperation to remain in power at all cost and likened him to former Ivorien President, Gbagbo.“I have to say this before you that there is a grand design by the PDP because they know that they are going to be voted out. This is just my personal opinion based on the recent political situation in the country. 1.Pres. Goodluck jonathan performed below expectations in a time when nigerians expected so much from him. 2.His government recorded the biggest corruption scandals in nigeria's history. 3.He didn't quite act like he is the president of nigeria,rather he behaved like he was the president of the south-south.This is evident in his frequent defense by ex militant leaders(tom polo,asari dokubo,boyloaf)etc and chief edwin clark whenever the nigerian public criticizes him. 4.The country's economy has witnessed a massive recession under his administration which led to the devaluation of the naira twice. 5.The nigeria immigration service recruitment which led to the untimely death of more than twenty young nigerian graduates seeking employment(I was there myself)This sole incident pitched him against most nigerian youths which constitutes over 60percent of eligible voters. 6.He sidelined the yoruba's from his administration who could have been a very valuable ally against the north,this same yoruba's were very instrumental in his election as the president of nigeria. 7.The opposition party,the APC controls the three most populous and politically valuable states in the country namely;lagos,kano and port hacourt.This states have the most voter population as well as huge financial strength in the country. 8.Mr presidents party,the PDP ran a very bad campaign during this electioneering period,instead of telling nigerians what they(pdp)has in stock for the next for years,they resorted to hate and smear campaigns against the presidential candidate of the opposition APC which had ironically made gen buhari more popular.This is witnessed in several documentaries been ran on AIT,NTA etc. 9.The PDP appointed the wrong person for position of campaign spokesman;femi fani kayode who keeps making too many careless accusations and insults on opposition leaders which has given the APC public sympathy.The governor of ekiti state,ayo fayose and first lady patience jonathan also falls within this category,the trio's comments has successfully pitched the north against mr president,this is evident in patience jonathan's absence at the PDP women rally in niger state.just recently,there were rumors that Adamu muazu,the PDP chairman became furious over the these incessant attack on the person of gen buhari which has tactically turned the ruling PDP into the opposition party and allegedly threatened to resign 10.The opposition party,APC ran a very vigorous,organized,coherent and issue based campaigns.They did more in unveiling their plans for nigeria and avoided smear and hate campaigns against the ruling PDP,this is evident in their 'change' symbol which is virtually on the lip on every nigerian whether or abroad. 11.Inec's insistence on the use of card readers and PVC's which would virtually eliminate election malpractices in the forth coming elections. All thes aforementioned facts seem to me the reasons why president goodluck jonathan would be the first nigerian incumbent to lose re-election. Pleasant criticisms are welcome,thanks

Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has
reached out to some traditional rulers in the
north to help persuade the National
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party to
reconsider his stance of leaving the party,
reports Osun Defenders.

The President has mandated top presidential
aides of Northern extraction led by the
National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki
have been mandated to reach out to some of
the emirs sympathetic to the President to
beg Mu'az to stay in the party.

One of the traditional rulers strongly
considered to lead the begging is the Emir of
Bauchi, Muhammadu Adamu, who Muazu
holds in high esteem.

Mu'azu was reported to have tendered his
resignation letter following some hate
speeches credited to the First Lady, Patience
Jonathan during the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) campaign rallies.

Patience Jonathan threw caution into the
winds when she called people from the North
irresponsible fathers and mothers who give
birth to many children they cannot cater for.
