Many times in the Old Testament we see the life span of humans reaching great ages. Many as old as 900 years.

The Bible tells us that:

Adam lived 930 years. (Genesis 5:5)

Seth lived 912 years.(Genesis 5:

Methuselah lived 969 years.(Genesis 5:27)

And Noah lived 950 years. (Genesis 9:29)

Many people wonder how, or if this is possible.

What is the answer? Did humans once have a much longer lifespan? If so, why is it that many people today do not live to be 100?

Some critics also claim that 900 years mentioned in the bible should not be taken literally, they say people counted months as years so to get the real age, we have to divide the age given in the bible and divide by 12 months.

Others claim that the seasons were counted has years also.


What do you think? Understanding this will make us understand many things going on in our days. Was that a different time? As so many questions that would be answered.

-2C= 10-44

-2C = -34
