My senior brother, my country ghana is worst. I live in obuasi, one of the single richest gold mining centres in the world; for gold has been mined here for about 120yrs, and believe me, this place will not pass for a village by world standards. A town of just about 200000 people. I just think and think amiss of how to bring up a transformation. So sad bros, so.....sad.

no offense but i doubt you are in no position to offer a comment here since we are on the opposite sides of the coin. The soul that sins shall die, so says the bible. The penalty for every unconfessed sin (except blasphemy agains the HOLY SPIRIT, which cant be forgiven) is death- spiritual death.

soldiers are a different scope all together. Theirs is for defence but they are not supposed to do it indiscriminately.

i find it rather captivating that for the sake of a 5-minutes pleasure of willful indulgence, that an intelligent being like yourself will lower yourself to the level of a dog! In case you dont know, man has a conscience, something that animals like a dog lack. Please dont insult God who created you because of lustful indulgences.

Every sin is a sin and will recieve its just recompence. The same God who hates fornication, hates, lies, murder, gluttony, theft, abuse, pride and anything that is contrary to sound doctrine. There are some sins though that can never be forgiven, according to Christ viz, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and this is where the caution has to be because there are no exemptions here. That notwithstanding any other sin can and will be forgive if true repentance takes place and restitution made: that is not to say that you are free from its consequence which might be in another form- only God knows what.

Free will is by choice. It belong to us. The tithe doesn't belong to us. It belong to God. I can decide not to give free will . But the tithe is not my own . If I eat it ,I have eaten Gods own .

i couldnt agree with you more. I wonder where all this maliciousness and stinginess towards God comes from. It is certainly not from the Spirit of truth. Tithes are strictly for God and he by commanded them to be given to the priests and levites ie men and women of God for take charge of the kingdom business. If pastors are cheating people today, its because we made them so. We enjoy the best of life while the wallow in abject impoverishment- i am not justifying them but truth it truth. Lets do the right as obedient children of God.

Some churches today take advantage of memebers situation. No wonder they split off to open thier own church.
When Pastor B sees what Pastor A is enjoying, Pastor B will take some members and break out to open his own church. These are the Pastors seeking money.
They are not ordained by God. The true ones do not pressurize tithe on memebers.

tithe paying is a religious obligation. It isnt a pressure to be succombed to. Even with that aside, it should be done with faith and cheerfulness of heart. Failure to pay tithe is first class robbery in christendom. Offerings, pledges, vows, and alms are a matter of privilege. Read your bibles well. It is only by giving tithes and giving them faithfully and cheerfully are your finances established by the Lord.

Hmmmm, first of all there is a clear distinction between tithes and general giving in the church and its all too obvious for all to see except for those who fail to see because they think they know just too much to be taught. Secondly, none of the verses quoted here even talks of tithing, if you ask me. If you people are so concerned about tithing, and why it is such a big issue today, just search through the bible and find out who instituted it, for whom it was instituted and for what purpose. Tithes are for upkeep of pastors and so are first fruit offerings. Other offerings are for other purpose as deemed fit by the church's authorities. Most of the comments i have seen here only talk of two things- prejudice against pastors and faithlessness with God. I didnt give any scripture refrences because since you were smart enough to quote those above these shouldnt a problem for you at all. I really doubt you are true christians or may be you are just being malicious or been decieved. In christendom, the principle is sowing and reaping- these are spiritual protocols and no man can ever change them. What do you have that you did not recieve? If it be then that you recieved it of the one who gives you power to make wealth why are you so beefed with giving him just one tenth of what you make. Know the truth and let it set you free.

Many people have different opinions on the many versions of the bible but if we take time to look for the truth underlyining all these versions we will notice that they all seek to do just one thing- make the text, concepts and doctrines of the bible very easy to understand and making application of it easier to even the most lay person in christendom today. It is better to have at least two versions to help you grow in it use- a kjv and any other version of choise. Always read scripture with a clear mind and rather ask the holy Spirit to illuminate you on what you read. Never read it with preconcieved ideas or doctrines of others. Christianity is unique in every sense when compared to all other religions and so is the bible. As a clear minded young believer, i have no problems at all with any recognised version of the bible because it means i dont have to rely on somebody's interpretation of any text of scripture without confirming it for myself. Google any quotation and see how the texts of the various are given side by side with no change in context or meaning except for wording. In my local church, we use various versions of the bible just to bring out the best possible meaning of any piece of scripture.
