All these unnecessary waste of government funds is not right.
At the end the same government might be directed to pay heavily for the hotel and other punitive measures added to it.
It is the tax payers money that will be used to settle the whole wahalah.
Why not follow due process when it comes to demolition of properties.

Nigerian government can spend trillions of naira on redundant NNPC and Ajaokuta staff than to budget N2B to create proper access roads to farms in 10 of the highest food producing states.

Somehow, we as a nation have all agreed that farmers should be confined to a life of poverty, poor infrastructure and inexposure.
