Biscuits are manufactured items.
You use cheap electricity or cheap diesel to run generators that power various
food processing and packaging equipment inside industries. That is how goods
are produced.
When you f**up the electricity, and increase diesel prices astronomically, it is no longer
economical to keepon producing such items.
Nigeria has KILLED OFF all manufacturing industries.
So no biscuit again

Even cabin biscuit that used to have quality now is nothing but a ply wood. The worst part is as the prices of those rubbishes are increasing the more the quality is decreasing.

Honestly my brother Yale cabin biscuit precisely is a shadow of itself.

Ply wood is even heavier I compare it with chicken feather.

Short story;
My wife called me last week to get her one pkt on my way from office that she's missed the old memories with tea, as for me I never tested it for over 25yrs, I last did when I was in school. To my greatest surprise when they gave it to me I was shocked and told them the pkt is empty and the lady started smiling

Totally a shadow of it from what we used to get in 90s back in the school days

I said instead of selling this feather for 1k, why not increase the quality and sell for 2-3k

We are doomed with a pathetic govt in this country

Some of these biscuits are still around but Yale has stepped up with even better ones though more pricey now like Munchies and ShortBread.

Those are millennium biscuits. Biscuits of the 80s and 90s are Nasco biscuits, Temitope biscuits and Okin biscuits. That's when biscuits had quality. Good old days

What you people forget is that 5naira as at that time is like 200 of today.

Biscuit of 5 naira or ice cream of 10 Nara in 2000-2004 is like 500/1k and 1k/2k today.

I think I saw their biscuit product last year in a supermarket. The biscuit that has fillings in it. I didn't buy it because I felt it wouldn't have the nostalgic taste. NASCO still has cornflakes in the market though.

Used to love milk maid and Fishly. Break both into a bowl ,add some water and milk if available. Mostly not available then. Shit was like cold stone to me
