Fitch Revises Nigeria’s Outlook from Negative to Stable Nigeria’s credit rating, assigned by the top international rating agency, Fitch, was revised on September 30, 2020, from a Negative Outlook to Stable though still pegged at the ‘B’ grade. Positive events stemming from the stability in oil prices, improving global financing conditions, and the relaxed restrictions on lockdown measures paved way for the revision of the Nations’ outlook. Furthermore, the rating priced-in the accretion to external reserves due to loans from foreign lenders, restrictive capital flow measures, the partial unification of exchange rates across its varied FX windows amid other negative externalities on the economy. To place in a better context, an increased or stable credit rating implies that operating conditions have improved, and economic risks have failed to crystalize. Against this backdrop, investor perception of the Nigerian economy is expected to strengthen. Although, we envisage that Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) will focus more on the FX policy than the rating, hence we do not envision a significant reaction from investors due to the persistent inaccessibility of the capital market. |

UBA: When is this sell-off going to stop? Lots of investors picking at 6.05 - 6.10 region. We are watching what Tony is up to. Zenith: They'll be behaving as if they won't buy.......see them packing it at 18 ........let it continue with its snail mvmt. ![]() The type of fund exchanging hands in Zee @18 though! |
Seunn11:You know I got it right. ![]() |
Seunn11:18.05 as at the time of my posting. I prefer some units of same Zee. Don't take alcohol. ![]() *" Another 100k at 18.05.........11.40am sharp......11.42am @18.10 |

Sexybeautiful:Let me try... starting from Question 2: Savannah sugar was an acquisition by Dangsugar, think it's more of expansion which should affect Dangsugar positively. The impact may not be immediate but its a plus for Dangsugar. Now to Question 1: What timeframe are you looking at? What's your motive for wanting to buy? Anyway: * Both are good fundamental stocks. * Both required enough patience * Both still have upside potential * Good Q3 results will further strengthen the share prices. * Wapco did some upside last/this week......depending on market situation, it may keep moving, good 3rd quarter result will increase investors faith, positive sentiments and most likely, create higher highs. * Dangsugar, there's the need to watch how events unfold with the new listing for bargain entry, though currentprice is relatively okay. * Choose your choice. ![]() NB: Opinion is not based on figures......bearish period not captured.......chart distorted...... unforeseen event not captured......so I'll like to phone a friend to throw more light on this. ![]() |
ZikkyChops:You can still declare free gifts nah.......at least your post appeared on the page. Lol. |
Happy 60eth Independence Anniversary to Nigeria and 6000th page to Nsempas. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria! More blessings to all! |

lancee:The kind of money entering Zenith though! Just too much..........let's keep watching.... |
lancee:It's possible. Think it's class......just like the case of GTB and Stanbic too. BTW, GTB is 28.40 now.........28.50 ![]() Wapco: bids outweigh offers...... bargainers on queue..... |
lancee:In terms of net profit, Zenith is leading. They also pay same dividend.....so why should the gap be that much? Lol.. ![]() |
MTNN : 129.....up with 1.50 |
IYGEAL:Wapco is still a bargain in its sector at 15 as far as I'm concerned. Seplat body language changed to positive again........ |
lancee:Lol. 17.95 now......las las e go touch 18 and continue the journey from there. ![]() Truth is, Zenith is still very cheap at below 20. ![]() GTB about to reach KM 28......@ 27.95 now |
Dangcem moving........ Cement biz booming .... ![]() The type of volumes exchanging hands can't be only local participation. We just needed more of their active participation to move the prices up the more..... |
OBAGADAFFI:You're right. Price appreciation works over time but holding for long term is the best......in my opinion. ........but at 17, Zenith still have upside potential cos the gap with GT is almost N10 now.......just have to find a way to close it. |
Wapco: getting attention at 15.......in as much as BUA is moving, we should expect Wapco to also keep moving...... UBA: Bargain hunters on queue......waiting for the 6.05/6.10 cross dealer/seller........will he show up today? We are watching....... ![]() Zenith: Bids outweigh offers.......are the 5M gang at the bottom of offer table on mission to crash price so as to buy more? We wait and see...... **Pls do not take as any form of advice** |
OBAGADAFFI:I know Zee and we are saying the same thing. ![]() |
Bbbwings:Zee eventually closed with 20kobo up not 15kobo....17.5 closing price. Just to correct it. Meanwhile, cement coys are still doing well......BUA closed with 1.35 up.....to close at 41.75. |
Bbbwings:There's Pastor in the house to conduct deliverance for Zee. ![]() |
MrDiligence:Depends on your cost price. How much did you buy it? It's still going up anyway. |
