Pls which platform can I use to check the offers?
Depends on the brokerage house you're using.
I use Morgan and can easily check on the iTrade live trading platform.

The 29M single crossing of fcmb at last minute.
Was placed towards tail end so as to cross it, guess it has to pass thru the floor of NSE, maybe on special arrangement.
It is well o. smiley

JB's bonus issue has been added to qualified investors.
Anyone still waiting for the bonus issue should contact his/her stock broker, it must be sitting in your CSCS statement already.

Am not sure their Q3 is out, the bonus has been credited cheesy I intend to hold JB for long.
Thank you.
Good it's been sorted. cool
Q3 is not out, I know.
Just saying when it comes out and impressive, the share price will not fall lower than current price again........but in position to move up from there.
JB is good for long term.

Sh0lar:
I started investing in NSE may this year. I invested in few banks including Zenith.
Now it is time for interim dividend and the registrar (based on info from my broker) is saying I am not entitle to it. That it is only people that invested before May that are entitled.
Abeg make una help me:
Zenith said:
Proposed dividend =30k
Closure date: 17th of Sept 2020
Qualification date: 16th Sept 2020
Payment date: 22nd Sept 2020

Please people, am I not qualified based on info above.
Kindly advice how I can also take this up with the registrar. Because this is looking like daylight robbery to me.
You are entitled to the dividend.
Even if you invested yesterday, you'll still be entitled to it.
Now answer this:
Did you still hold your position in Zenith till today?
Is there any arrangement btw you and your broker? Maybe they're investing on your behalf and are entitled to claim the dividends instead of you?
Who is your broker?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:06am On Sep 17, 2020

UBA seen at 5.90 hmmmm
Wapco 13.
That guy was selling codedly at 13.50 earlier, guess he's the one selling down and creating panic for more people.
Don't know why he's selling anyway.

lmm4real:
Thank you madam, Morgan no credit me o. Make I find their mail and send them a message.
Send them mail, sometimes those bonus issues don't add automatically, don't know why this is so......but it would have already reflected in your CSCS statement.
Let them reconcile your CSCS quantities with your portfolio.

Also, since the bonus issue has been added, JB might likely not fall much lower than current price. If Q3 result is good, then it might start inching up small small and also move with general bull.....should any occur in the market. Try and check Q2 result to see if its fair/good too.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot Mcy, you won't believe that it is even cashcraft that has some of the historic (older) ones. The others seem to start from 2014.
Your response was timely....
You're welcome.
Cashcraft has one of the best site for tracking history of stocks with much earlier dates but they've not been updating it in recent times and the "handwriting" is not so good.
I hope the coy will embrace digital trading as soon as possible so as to keep in vogue and relevant to modern day trading.

I have been painfully averaging down on my JB for a while now. From 27+ am now at 22+ and honestly I done they tire lol. Abeg any advise and any new on their Bonus offer.
Cc CP, Mcy56
I learnt JB already credited the issued bonuses, try and contact your broker to sort it out, they'll credit your portfolio with your quantity, I blvd this will also bring down your cost price.

Who has any idea where one can find history of dividends paid in Nigeria since 2005? Any website one can find such info?
CashDiMkpa:
Here we go...
https://www.arthursteven.com/dividends.php

or this but does not go that far back

http://www.nse.com.ng/issuers/corporate-disclosures/corporate-actions
Answered here before. See quoted post above.
You asked around same time I stumbled on the post while searching for a shared info. grin

Think someone also mentioned investing.com or so.
You can see it at cashcraft.com also......though not been updated in recent times.

An investor/medium
As an investor, I want to believe you're both for dividend and capital appreciation.
Though no one can accurately time or predict the market, however, there's a general believe that prices may fall after dividend payments and thus present more opportunity to enter the market and pick stocks at cheaper/bargain prices.......but barring any unforeseen circumstance, prices may not fall badly as may be expected.......and as for me ooo.......
I will say buy Zenith if you see it below 17, if it falls much lower, you can be buying more to reduce your cost price.
Vitafoam is good too, any price around 5/5.35 should be good. The coy's year end is September, even though YE result usually comes out around Dec, there's going to be increased activity in the stock around this time.
There are quite some other good and fundamentally sound stocks too......buy dividend paying stocks.
......*added: Wapco has been greatly emphasized here too, it's still good for pick*
If you buy, just deal with your emotions, know why you buy them and be less disturbed about daily upandans of prices.
Continue to follow this thread, my ogas used to give stock picks from time to time, ask if you're not clear about such recommendation before diving into it, not all will fit into your investment objective.

what is moving fcmb now is simply unknown. On a good day, fidelity should be going along.
They move together on a good day before, but recently it's a kind of interchanging things, guess it's the trend for now.
Fidelity too will still deliver.
When? This what no one can time.
