Like i said, the problems of the north are listed below:

1. Islam

2. political class/elites

3. religious leaders

4. illiteracy


if you can tackle number 1, then there is hope for the north. The truth is number 1 needs to be reformed, once that is done my people their lives would change for good. only the north can help the north

The north was more literate part of Nigeria. According to lord Lugard there were 25,000 Qur'anic Arabic schools with about 250,000 pupils in the north ( we are talking about the 1800s)
