Take Oyo state for instance, outside of Ibadan, where can he get any votes. I think only Lagos is in play for him in the SW.

President Obasanjo campaigned for and endorsed the late president Umar Musa Yar'adua in 2007 and he won.
President Obasanjo supported former president Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 and he won.
President Obasanjo campaigned for president Muhammadu Buhari in 2014/2015 and he won.

We only have PDP as national party in 2007 & 2011 couple with the fact that Election then was something elae,he supported Buhari in 2015 even though his support is inconsequential.but did you forget to mention 2019 or you intentionally skip it?
