Crime / Re: Herdsmen Invade Farms In Ondo, As Amotekun Seizes 42 Cows by meavox: 7:02am On Jun 25, 2020
THIS IS REAL WAR!

Farmers working hard in their farm are attacked by Fulani herdsmen who WANT TO KILL THEM!
Is that not declaration of war!

ALL Arewa herdsmen must leave South and MB - even the ones some of us call "good herdsmen". ALL must be made to return to Arewa! The Gov of Kano invited them ALL but the Fulanization of Nigeria agenda ignored it.

UP my brothers of MB and Lower Niger, we are in Alliance with Oduduwa. We must support them.

LET US BOYCOTT BEEF! In South and MB and be united in doing so.
No eating of beef! No trading of beef! Enough is enough!

HERDSMEN INVADE FARMS IN ONDO, CHASE AWAY FARMERS AS AMOTEKUN SEIZES 42 COWS
By Sahara Reporters
June 24, 2020

The herdsmen, upon seeing the security agencies, immediately launched an attack but were overpowered, and took to their heels.
________________________________________

HEAVILY ARMED Fulani herdsmen chased away some local farmers in Alagbaka extension area of Ondo State after destroying their farmlands.
Adetunji Adeleye, Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed "Amotekun Corps", disclosed in an interview on Tuesday.

Adeleye revealed that over eight separate farmlands with crops such as maize and cassava were destroyed by the Fulani herdsmen.

"On seeing the owners of the affected farmlands, the heavily armed herders attempted to kill them shocked but the farmers ran for their dear lives,” he said.

The Amotekun Corps got wind of the incident following the reports made by the helpless farmers.

He noted that the Corps, in a joint security network with the Agro-Rangers of the NSCDC, immediately swung into action by visiting the area.

Adeleye added that the herdsmen, upon seeing the security agencies, immediately launched an attack but were overpowered, and took to their heels.

He, however, disclosed that no fewer than 42 cows belonging to the herdsmen were later seized by the Corps.

While decrying the level of destruction to the farmlands, Adeleye vowed that the herdsmen would be made to pay for the crops destroyed and subsequently face prosecution.

One of the farmers, Olawale Aluko, lamented how the armed herdsmen had been destroying their crops. Aluko called for help to stop the incessant attacks and harassment.

Review of the educational system to meet with the present reality is the way to go.

Nothing wrong in changing the constitution

Yes.

The hashtag is #BinIt9ja and #BinItNG

Since it's a FORGERY those who don't want to keep to it are actually RIGHT.

And those who want to keep what is in a FORGED Constitution are wrong and actually immoral. If they so like it, they should allow a Referendum on it and let the people choose it, so legalize it.

Got the above from a WhatsApp post just now and it's right.

ROADMAP TO FIX NIGERIA BY SCRAPPING 1999 CONSTITUTION - MNN ALLIANCE

MNN (Movement for New Nigeria) is an Alliance of
• The Federation of Oodua Peoples
• Middle Belt Congress
• Lower Niger Congress

MNN have produced a STRATEGY to fix Nigeria by taking down the Apartheid 1999 Constitution which is a forgery, through a non-violent means of CONSTITUTIONAL FORCE MAJEURE (Google it)

Here are the steps:
1) Every honest Nigerian to acquaint yourself and your family/children of lies and forgery in the 1999 Constitution, its Apartheid nature of favouring one non-indigenous minority over the indigenous owners of the land, and the anti-development nature of the 68-item Exclusive List (Google these)

2) You then add your voice to taking down the Apartheid 1999 Constitution through signing or creating petitions, your social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook etc), writing comments on news sites (Nigerian and foreign), writing letters to newspaper editors, writing to international organisation eg Commonwealth, AU, UN etc, writing to your political representative in Nigeria or if you are in the Diaspora, Zoom meetings, lectures, discussions, every way of talking about it in social and religious gatherings.

3) You keep yourself updated with what is going on. You're an adult. You can do it!

4) Get involved! You should love your children enough to be interested and concerned about their future, and SHOW it to them by what you do for them. MNN have already devised a strategy. All you need do, for your children's sake, is get involved.

Here below is a poster of the strategy of taking down the Apartheid 1999 Constitution by Constitutional Force Majeure. You can find it at the LNC website via this link too: https://web.facebook.com/lowernigercongress/

Politics / Lower Niger Bloc – Igbo People Come See What It's About! by meavox: 10:19am On Jun 23, 2020

LOWER NIGER BLOC – IGBO PEOPLE COME SEE WHAT IT'S ABOUT!

For over 20 years, Lower Niger Congress (LNC) and our Alliance Partners of Movement for New Nigeria (MNN) who are
(1) The FEDERATION OF OODUA PEOPLES, made up of indigenes of Oodua Land (the Homeland of the Yoruba ethnic nationality of the former Western Region of Nigeria,) involved in the mission of evolving an OODUA PEOPLES FEDERATION;

And

(2) The MIDDLE BELT CONGRESS, made up of indigenes of the Middle Belt (the Homeland of the ethnic nationalities of the former Northern Region of Nigeria, excluding the Sharia territories) involved in the mission of evolving a MIDDLE-BELT FEDERATION;
Have been working quietly and seriously on how to rescue the indigenous peoples of the territory called “Nigeria”.

The Lower Niger Bloc, which is a proposed federation to be actualised after Referendum will not be imposed on anybody. We comprise all the indigenous ethnic nationalities of the Lower Niger, (the Homeland of the ethnic nationalities of the former Eastern and Mid-western Regions of Nigeria), involved in the mission of evolving a LOWER NIGER FEDERATION. Thus it is a Unit made up of South-East and South-South.

The Lower Niger Bloc/Federation has SIX (6) Provinces (or regions) largely following ethnic groupings. One of these Provinces is the Igbo area and so Igbo people will agree by voting what their Province is to be called, that is, the name of the Igbo area will be by consensus. (The people of the other 5 Provinces will in the same way determine by voting what their Province will be called)

We want Igbo people to appreciate that ALL the ethnic nationalities of the Lower Niger Bloc are similarly suffering, and that Igbos are not the only group marginalized and humiliated. It is essential to grasp these truths: that Lower Niger Bloc are united in suffering. We are united in our history. We are therefore also united in our future. Here are just a few reasons why we propose the very appropriately designed for success, Lower Niger Bloc/Federation:

• Igbo people as well as ALL the ethnic nationalities of this Bloc have suffered under Fulani and Arewa domination. If you do not already know, Ijaw, Ogoni and many others have been killed when seeking justice and self-determination for their people.

• We looked for a solution that would not harm any of our ethnic nationalities because many people have businesses in various parts of “Nigeria” and these must remain intact and prospering. Lower Niger Bloc guarantees Igbo business and properties etc throughout the Bloc will remain unchanged! Not only that, because Lower Niger Congress is in Alliance, any Igbo business or assets in Middle Belt and Oodua will also remain safe and sound.

• Some Igbo people are happily married to non-Igbo. Family is very important to us at Lower Niger Congress for family is the bedrock of good and strong nation building. The Lower Niger Bloc structure means that Igbos with non-Igbo spouses within the Bloc need not worry at all and are even very much valued. In addition, our Alliance with Middle Belt and Oodua means that marriages with people from those areas will not face any upheaval when the time comes.

• Furthermore, no ethnic nationality of Lower Niger Bloc/Federation can ever dominate any other in any way because it will be nothing at all like “Nigeria”. Nobody will be able to impose himself or his plans on others, but issues will be decided in true Democratic way by elections and Referendum. Our “brightest and best” will now be able to serve our people and make Lower Niger Federation awesome! Some things guaranteed for each ethnic nationality, and that guarantee our harmony and progress together are:
1. Resource control for each ethnic nationality
2. Self Determination for each ethnic nationality
3. Borders Control for each ethnic nationality
So our Igbo brethren, can you see, even in this short piece, how the freedom, progress, prosperity and happiness you very rightly seek can be found in a wonderful way in Lower Niger Federation!

Lower Niger Congress and our Alliance Partners of Middle Belt and Oodua are following a clear Strategy and Direction. Planning for Lower Niger Federation has come about through some 20 years of discussions between leaders of the area. You can get a whole lot of information showing our work over the years on our website, plus maps of the 6 Provinces that make up the Lower Niger Federation. Do use Google but here are links to our Facebook site and our website:

https://web.facebook.com/lowernigercongress/

https://lowernigercongress.org/

Dear Igbo brethren, it is right for you to want self-determination. It is right to want to get out of the entrapment called “Nigeria. You will find ALL your desires met in Lower Niger Federation.

All the ethnic nationalities making up Lower Niger Federation are equally suffering, and with cooperative unity will fight off our common enemy and set ourselves free. We must not allow “divide and rule” tactics to succeed in keeping brothers fighting themselves instead of fighting their common enemy.

Lower Niger Congress invites your contributions and ideas so please, let us together make Lower Niger Bloc/Federation a grand success!

Please forward to the Igbo community worldwide plus inform your Igbo friends. They all need to consider the great benefits that Lower Niger Federation will bring to all ethnic nationalities within it.
Politics / North Will Not Cede Power To South In 2023 — Arewa Youth Consultative Forum by meavox: 9:21am On Jun 22, 2020
Busted: ‘North will not cede power to South in 2023’

…accuses APC chieftains in the S/East of abandoning Kalu

…thanks Northern elders for support Kalu when he was in prison

The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, has reiterated that the North still wanted the presidency in 2023 and would not cede power to the South.

President of the AYCF, Shettima Yerima, said in an interview on Tuesday that it irritates the entire North for some southern politicians to think Northerners will leave power for them in 2023.

“How can you think we will cede power to the South in 2023? The North still want the presidency. The south is in charge of the economy and they have everything, so why would they want to take away the only thing we have.

“What would you call that? Even if we are ceding power to the south in 2023, we should be considering people like Orji Uzor Kalu. He is someone the north trusts and the Northern elders will give him their full support. Most Nigerians don’t know that Kalu’s incarceration emanated from conspiracy and betrayal from his own party, the APC,” he said.

Yerima accused Ohanaeze and some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of conspiracy during the travails of Senator Kalu Orji Kalu and thanked the Northern elders for standing behind the former Governor of Abia state and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu during his six months incarceration at Kuje custodial centre.

He accused the leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) from the south of conspiring against Kalu because of 2023 presidential ambitions.

He also slammed the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo and its leadership for keeping silent during the entire period of Kalu’s travails

He cautioned the North over the dangers of abandoning the former Governor in custody, adding that Northern elders must be commended for “standing firm for Kalu” who he referred to as their “long time ally, brother and friend.”

“We specifically thank Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, for proving critics wrong on the North’s stand on Kalu,” he said.

Yerima also thanked the Supreme Court and Justice Muhammad Liman of the Federal High Court for standing on the path of justice.

“It is very important to appreciate the justices of the Supreme Court and Justice Liman of the Federal High Court for their moral and professional courage to uphold justice. Kalu’s release is a victory for decency, for patriotism and respect for the rule of law. They once again proved that Judiciary is the survival of democracy”.

“However, we question the usefulness of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to Igbo elite. It is a disappointment that Ohanaeze under the leadership of Nwodo specifically did nothing to support their own, yet they want a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction.”

“Please where will this president come from? Kalu is one of their biggest assets but they all kept quiet. It’s only the Ohanaeze youths that spoke strongly for Kalu but Nwodo and his members shied away from the real leadership they ought to render. Who knows if they were also paid to betray their own? It’s very shameful of them”.

“It irritates the entire North for some southern politicians to think they will leave power for them (South) come 2023. How can you think we will cede power to the South in 2023?” He queried the journalists. “The North still wants the presidency. The south is in charge of the economy and they have everything, so why would they want to take away the only thing we have."

“Some leaders of the party from the south who have become desperate about 2023 presidency wanted to kick Kalu out of the race through Machiavellian way. They don’t like open competition. I was surprised they have no love. They are full of hatred and they want to be President. The amount of hatred in that party is so much. What’s exactly Kalu’s offence? 2023? Look at what is also happening in Edo state. It’s a pity”

“I remember when Kalu as a governor initiated the idea of publishing the state accounts on the print media. That showed a lot. I think the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, should have a rethink on Kalu’s case. The resources they have wasted on pursuing the case for the past 13 years. Is it worth it?

“My advice is that they should sheathe their swords and let Kalu be. They should not allow some desperate politicians to dictate to them what they should do,” he said.

FULANI SAY: “THE NORTH AND NIGERIA IS OUR COLLECTIVE HERITAGE…”

Hear rubbish ooooo…. Fulani youth say, “the North and Nigeria is our collective heritage”.
Let us tell them the truth that Nigeria is not Futa Jalon!

Indigenous people of South and Middle Belt, we, the captives are setting ourselves free and reclaiming our lands and resources. This is frightening Fulani very much. So expect them to be coming out with all sorts of LIES and PRETENCE. But we must be clear, our FREEDOM is what we seek. Nothing can shake us from that goal because we and our children cannot remain their slaves. Fulani and Arewa will be saying all sorts of things about poverty in the North (is it not self-inflicted?) and about insecurity in the North (is it not self-inflicted?), while they free captured Boko Haram saying they are “repentant” and “rehabilitated”, and even have allied with ISIS to make Nigeria a terrorist country and a hell.

SEPARATION FROM AREWA is our solution.

When Fulani say: “the North and Nigeria is our collective heritage”

We the indigenous people of South and Middle Belt must reply: “You have no heritage at all in our ancestral lands” grin

SEPARATION FROM AREWA is our solution.

Here is the link to the nonsense of Fulani for those who want to see the source of their pretence and lies: http://saharareporters.com/2020/06/21/insecurity-northern-youth-warn-politicians-stop-destabilising-nigeria

That piece of trash called a constitution needs to be trashed if we are serious about rebuilding this country.

I have been proposing a mock constitutional conference by every Nigerian youth online to come to bare their mind and enable us to know how to proceed in taking over our future and setting a constitution that'd be our guiding principle upon taking over and going forward.

Wonderful to hear this young man. Remain courageous!

So that we (SW, SS, SE & MB) work unitedly, go to the Lower Niger Congress facebook and website for information. All they do is in Alliance with Oduduwa and Middle Belt. Then contact them if you need more information. And tell your youth network. May God bless you.

TAKING DOWN THE 1999 CONSTITUTION BY CONSTITUTIONAL FORCE MAJEURE – WHO IS DOING IT?

We insist that this territory called Nigeria must become a wonderful, safe and progressing place. That starts with having a social contract, ie a Constitution made by “We the people” and legitimized by Referendum.

Who are we?

We describe ourselves below but YOU too must play your own adult part. By getting involved in creating a good land for yourself and for your children. You cannot leave this great task to others to do while you lie back and do nothing. You must keep yourself informed, plus inform your children and those under you. This is a call to UNIFIED and COLLECTIVE action!
The internet eg Google is where you will find information.

1. The LOWER NIGER CONGRESS, made up of indigenes of the Lower Niger, (the Homeland of the ethnic nationaliities of the former Eastern and Mid-western Regions of Nigeria), involved in the mission of evolving a LOWER NIGER FEDERATION. grin grin

2. The FEDERATION OF OODUA PEOPLES, made up of indigenes of Oodua Land (the Homeland of the Yoruba ethnic nationality of the former Western Region of Nigeria,) involved in the mission of evolving an OODUA PEOPLES FEDERATION. grin

3. The MIDDLE BELT CONGRESS, made up of indigenes of the Middle Belt (the Homeland of the ethnic nationalities of the former Northern Region of Nigeria, excluding the Sharia territories) involved in the mission of evolving a MIDDLE-BELT FEDERATION. grin

Now collaborating under the aegis of MOVEMENT FOR NEW NIGERIA (MNN) in its quest to facilitate the reconstruction of the Nigerian Federation.
MNN joins the Convener of the Yoruba National Assembly Lt Gen. Alani Akinrinade (rtd) in asserting that:
“We cannot pretend to be running a democracy with a Master-Servant Constitutional arrangement imposed wholly by one side upon all by fiat, just like the Apartheid-Era Constitution of South Africa”. Tell Magazine Sept. 24, 2012. (9). shocked

When One Nigeria implodes and explodes the new nations in the South and Middle Belt will not allow anybody to IMPOSE himself or his plans on the people. All will be by elections.

Kanu can offer himself and his plans for people to vote him in or not.

So it is OK.

Also Igbo people are looking at various options out there. I trust them to choose well. grin

I am from SS (Cross River) and Igbo are my brothers. We have married some of them and I know many see SS and SE as one Unit. But whatever the case, it shall go to vote/Referendum.

We of SS and SE know that SEPARATION FROM AREWA is what we both need, want and will work to have. grin
Politics / 1st... The Rogue 1999 Constitution Must Be Jettisoned Wholesale Now - Tony Nnadi by meavox: 10:22am On Jun 21, 2020
Short Title:
FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS IS THAT THE ROGUE 1999 CONSTITUTION MUST BE JETTISONED, WHOLESALE NOW - Tony Nnadi

Full Title:
POST-COVID-19 ECONOMIC RECONSTRUCTION OF NIGERIA MUST BE PRECEDED BY THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE DAMAGED CONSTITUTIONAL BASIS OF NIGERIA: FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS IS THAT THE ROGUE 1999 CONSTITUTION MUST BE JETTISONED, WHOLESALE NOW - Tony Nnadi,

Lower Niger Congress May 20, 2020.

That Economic woes of Nigeria flow directly from the Damaged Constitutional Basis of Nigeria is no longer a matter for debate.

With the Covid-19 induced Economic Downturn and the sudden disappearance of Oil Revenues, the frantic suggestions regarding the urgent need to Diversify Nigeria’s Oil Economy to Non-Oil Sources, without first Decommissioning and Dismantling the Unitary 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, is a product of Ignorance or Dishonesty. Or Both.

If we do not first get rid of the 68-Item Federal Exclusive Legislative List on the 1999 Constitution which sequester to the illicit “Federal Government” of Nigeria, Ownership and Control all Economic Assets and the Powers to work those Assets, (which in the Federation Nigeria claims to be, belongs to the Federating Units), the opportunities being spoken about everywhere regarding the Diversification of the Nigeria’s Economy away from its current Oil Base, are simply a mirage.

It is the same 68-Item Federal Exclusive Legislative List that Centralize and Vest the Exclusive Control of the Security System in Nigeria on the illicit “Federal Government” of Nigeria which itself has now been completely hijacked by the Fulani Caliphate and so, Nothing will change with the Parlous Security Situation in Nigeria as long as the 1999 Constitution stands.

As it is with Economic Assets and Security, so is it with Electricity Generation & Transmission; so is it with Ports (Air and Sea); so is it with Railways and Highways. So is it with Elections (Federal and State). So is it with Law Enforcement and the Justice System. In all, Nigeria is Paralyzed by its Unitary 1999 Constitution which is now choking Nigeria to Death.

It is not by Amendments or any Process based on the 1999 Constitution that the 68-Item Federal Exclusive Legislative List will be Decommissioned and Dismantled, since the Caliphate Beneficiaries of the Apartheid Nigeria, who Imposed the Unitary 1999 Constitution to constrict, cripple and incapacitate the rest of Nigeria, have by the 36-States & 774 LGs Structure, Imposed themselves as the Standing Majority in the National Assembly of Nigeria and so it would be akin to waiting upon the Boer-Controlled Parliament of Apartheid South Africa to Cure the Atrociously Exclusionary Apartheid Constitution by Amendments.

Neither is Constitution-Making within the Legislative Mandate of the National Assembly as Constitution-Making Requires Constituent Powers which Vest Exclusively with the Constituent Components of the Union as an Incident of their Sovereignty.

Let it be noted that the Constituent Sovereignties making up the Union of Nigeria, are Currently hijacked through the Rogue 1999 Constitution by the Illicit “Federal Government” of Nigeria which emerged since the 1967 collapse of the Defunct Federation of Nigeria. That Illicit Federal Government of Nigeria has in turned been hijacked by the Fulani Caliphate.

The current Nigeria as defined by the “1999 Constitution”, is a thus, a Disputed Project.
Unitary Nigeria and it’s so-called “Federal Government” have become an obnoxious SUZERAINTY confiscating and suppressing the SOVEREIGNTIES of the Constituent Component Regions of Nigeria and this Raises an Urgent Sovereignty Dispute.

The 1999 Constitution MUST therefore go down wholesale, and the Consequential Sovereignty Dispute Resolved before any meaningful Economic Reconstruction can be contemplated since the Taking Down of the 1999 Constitution is a Political Undertaking, which goes to the root of the Charged Sovereignty Dispute in which Unitary Nigeria is currently trapped.

It is therefore Self-Evident that the Economic Quagmire of Nigeria is rooted in Nigeria’s Damaged Constitutional Basis. The Covid-19 Economic Disruptions have only exacerbated it and so the Economic Catastrophe starring Nigeria in the face is the Direct Consequence of Nigeria’s Political Folly of imposing a Unitary Constitution on a Federal Union.

It follows that Nigeria’s Economic Nightmares have Political Roots and so, unless we choose to Continue in Self-Deception, the Solution lies in the Political Action of First Reconfiguring the Damaged Constitutional Basis of Nigeria. Failure to acknowledge and act upon this reality is a guarantee for the unceremonious collapse of the Rickety Nigerian Union as the Entrapped Constituent Component Blocs of Nigeria, faced with the Ethnic Cleansing Onslaught by the Invading Fulani, are now more interested in the Safety and Future of their Various Peoples than in what happens to the Current Toxic Unitary Nigeria, erected upon and defined by the Fraudulent, Unworkable 1999 Constitution.

The situation is now being compounded by the massive influx of Fulani Mercenaries into Southern Nigeria in what seems the beginnings of a Jihad and the impending escalation of the Ethnic Cleansing Campaign by the Fulani against the Indigenous Nationalities of Nigeria, particularly in the South and Middle-Belt.

Like South Africa did in 1990 to commence the process of easing itself out of the Apartheid Quagmire, the LNC and it’s MNN Alliance Partners are of the firm view that Nigeria must now acknowledge the demise of the Imposed 1999 Constitution, (which has been Repudiated by all the Constituent Components of Nigeria) and get into a Transitioning that will midwife Fresh Protocols to be Ratified by Referendums and which would be anchored fully on the Unfettered Self-Determination Rights of Each of the Nationalities clamped together by Britain into a Union of Death and Attrition since 1914, in Formations of their Choice.

The alternative to making this Urgent Acknowledgment and embarking on this Inevitable Transitioning at the latest, before the end of the Third Quarter of 2020, is the escalation of indiscriminate Unilateral Self-Preservation and Self-Determination Steps by the embattled and endangered Constituent Components of Nigeria.

The Mass Wedding of 1914 is now ending in Multiple Divorce Suits as silhouetted by the Yoruba Nation’s Entry into United Nations Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation (UNPO). grin

TERRORISM IN NIGERIA - IMPLICATIONS: BEYOND NIGERIA’S BORDERS
International Committee On Nigeria (ICON)
From their website, link below

Nigeria must find its equilibrium in short order [ie ASAP!], and not simply for the sake of its own internal stability.
Nigeria’s crisis is not Nigeria’s alone. A destabilized and crisis-ridden Nigeria has negative impacts for American [and global] businesses, international security, and the stability of the entire region. The geopolitical consequences of an unstable Nigeria are dangerous and looming.

• Destabilization of Nigeria impacts neighboring countries; more than 300,000 displaced Nigerians are taking refuge in Cameroon, Chad and Niger. The entire region is in a state of emergency as it struggles with extreme food insecurity and suffers from violent terrorist attacks.

• Enormous numbers of Nigerians have sought protection in Europe from religious persecution. In 2016, more than 35,000 Nigerian refugees arrived in Italy via Libya, adding to an overwhelming humanitarian crisis triggered by the Syrian Civil War. In recent years, human trafficking of Nigerian women has become a massive criminal problem in Italy.

• Instability in Nigeria is a national security threat for the United States and other Western nations. While ISIS may be in retreat in the Middle East, it has found a new and powerful ally in Boko Haram, which is entrenched in northern Nigeria. Like Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria before it, an UNSTABLE NIGERIA IS BECOMING THE NEW BREEDING GROUND FOR ISLAMIST TERRORISTS.

You and your ethnic nationality have the choice of listening to such a person or find a way around him or her to get to your own appointed destiny through self determination.”
– ‘Remi Oyeyemi, Philadelphia, USA July 2010 angry

Mr. Yakubu Dogara, the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, recently told the world an open secret – that the on-going crisis in the All Progressive Congress (APC) is as a result of the “New thinking in the North” aimed at appropriating total control of power to the exclusion of the rest or other sections of the country. Rather than be seen as a negative step, I consider this as a positive step towards the destiny of Nigeria to balkanize. It is a positive step towards the eventual liberation of all ethnic nationalities into forming independent Nations that they used to be (definitely with new alliances and realignments) prior to the tragedy of 1914, which Sir Ahmadu Bello himself tagged as “The Mistake of 1914.”

As the crisis in the APC continues, the politically naïve “patriots” of the South, particularly the Yoruba Southwest, who are dreaming of a “New Nigeria” where there would be no corruption and where the dreams of all, regardless of their ethnic origin, would be realizable have continued to hold on to what one of Professor Okey Ndibe’s friends from South Africa called “a dead body.” Yes. Nigeria is “a dead body.” In doing so, in my own estimation, they are not just holding on to “a dead body” they are working against the destiny of Nigeria that has been ordained by God, through providence.

Majority of Nigerians of all hue and clime who supported Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari were doing so genuinely in the hope that this was an opportunity for a New Nigeria; opportunity to break from the past and set the country on the path to greatness. They were excited. They were enthusiastic. They were hopeful. Unknown to all these excited Buharists, the slave masters in the Sultanate and their sentries in the extended part of the Uthman Dan Fodio’s Estate called Nigeria, were putting finishing touches to their total control of their bequeathment. The political carpetbaggers too, inflicted by myopia and focused as locusts on the perquisites of offices they were chasing and the loot they anticipate to appropriate, could not look far or think deep. They were like rapacious rabbits that could not perceive the traps set for them.

Some of us knew this. We were aware. We saw it coming. And we warned. We advised on alternative strategy, tactics and choices. But unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears rendered further ineffective by arrogance, condescension and ambition. They were inebriated in their pursuit of power, confident that they could never be wrong. Their ears were blocked. Their reasoning was weird. Their flanks were carelessly left open. They discountenanced History. They ignored the raison d’etre for the pains and sufferings of our heroes past. They exuded unrestrained exuberance and fanned the embers of infantile enthusiasm. They flagrantly and joyously gallivanted on the Hausa/Fulani tiger and as it now appears, they are gradually ending in its belly.

When the Sultan of Sokoto expressed preference for a particular governorship candidate in some of the Yoruba states and some of the Yoruba leaders worked secretly to impose such candidates, then it was evident that there is fire on the mountain of the Yoruba Nation. Or when the Sultan expressed dislike for a particular candidate and the party leaders took away his hard earned ticket to give to another, it was evident that the dream espoused by Ahmadu Bello – to treat the “South, as conquered territory and …… never allow them to have control over their future” – has become a reality. The Hausa/Fulani oligarchy has stooped to use our leaders as a means to conquering and enslaving us again.

GEJ would eventually be judged harshly by History for wasting a golden opportunity to free Nigeria and Nigerians from the slavery of the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy. But reserved for harsher judgment of History are those who worked ceaselessly to enthrone Alhaji Buhari under the garb of change, without taking any precautions and without availing themselves of lessons of History. Thus by so doing, they have wittingly or unwittingly through several acts of commission or omission drove Nigerians into another round of slavery, at least for another 50 years or beyond, unless there is intervention by Providence. sad

When Yakubu Dogara, the newly elected Speaker of House of Representatives said that his victory “was made possible by the intervention of the Sultan and others,” he was only confirming the obvious as enunciated in my article of June 14, 2015 titled “Fulani Solidarity and the Betrayal of Bola Tinubu.” In that article, I had written inter-alia:
“The Fulani are a special breed. They understand only one thing – power at all costs. It does not matter how close you are to them. It does not matter how friendly you are to them. It does not matter how helpful you are to them. When it comes to power and control, they rally round themselves to neutralize you and maintain your subservience.”

So, when Mr. Dogara, came out to reveal probably inadvertently, that the scheme (with Bola Tinubu as prime target), to play out and neutralize some players from some sections of the country, was engineered from the Palace of the Sultan, it ought not be a surprise to analytical and objective observers who understands the dynamics of the Fulani power concept. To those who do not know, the Sultan of Sokoto and Asiwaju Tinubu have been very close friends, especially in recent times. But when it comes to power, the Fulani Pulaku Concept overrides everything, including close friendships, and it was not difficult to dump Tinubu for the interest of the Uthman Dan Fodio’s Estate where the Fulani oligarchy would permanently hold sway. The Uthman Dan Fodio’s Estate is euphemized as Nigeria.

In the same article “Fulani Solidarity and the Betrayal of Bola Tinubu,” I had noted as follows:
“The game played with Tinubu by Mohammadu Buhari, Abubakar Atiku, Aminu Tambuwal and Shehu Garba, all blue blooded Fulani , is not limited to this crowd. It is an elaborate plan backed by an entire oligarchy that operates silently behind the scenes. This plan which is still in its infancy has been hatched before now. Bukola Saraki (a Fulani-Yoruba) is just a willing tool in this elaborate plan. The Fulani oligarchy is not going to take another chance to allow power be controlled by anyone or group other than them or one of their own.”

Thus when Mr. Dogara contended “We should know that there is new thinking in the North,” he is not telling the whole truth. He is throwing up a cocoon to deceive those who are still holding on to a mirage and calling it a dream in the name of patriotism. Dogara is a “willing tool” in a more elaborate plan to hold the slaves of Uthman Dan Fodio Estate, on leash. His types would be very close to the throne but would never be king. And if ever he was king, he would be like a caged lion that could only eat when he was fed. This “thinking” to dominate the rest of Nigeria and enslave them by the Fulani oligarchy is not new as evident in the quotations made available above.

“In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility – I welcome it.”
– John F. Kennedy, in his Inaugural Address January 20, 1961

NIGERIAN ELDERS – STOP LYING TO THE YOUTH!

Nigerian Elders,

Those of you above 55 years old, what exactly will it profit you in the end – for you will one day soon die, to keep on lying to your children, your grandchildren, and all the youth? We shall spit on your graves and remember you with hatred and not honor you if you carry on lying to us.

We are speaking to those above 55 especially the kings, high chiefs, chiefs, traditional elders, parents and grandparents. You have lied and keep on lying that Nigeria is a DEMOCRACY. But you know it NEVER was and can NEVER be because at our so-called Independence the two foreign powers of British and Fulani committed a FRAUD against the indigenous people so that:
“This New Nation called Nigeria, should be an estate of our great grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the South, as conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future” – Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna of Sokoto and Premier of Northern Region in The Parrot of October 12, 1960

Nigerian Elders, great shame on you! May God never forgive you for lying to us, YOUR CHILDREN by telling us Nigeria is a Democracy, unless you change your ways. To worsen the case against you, you tell us that Nigeria can NEVER be divided and that even though it is a complete FAILURE we, YOUR CHILDREN must suffer it! But when did “We the people” agree to the 1999 Constitution which says Nigeria is INDIVISIBLE and INDISSOLUBLE? So the 1999 Constitution is a FORGERY and you Elders have made us believe it was a legal document!

We, YOUR CHILDREN are suffering in this failed Nigeria yet you, our Elders and Parents, by holding on to this Forgery of a Constitution are supporting Sir Ahmadu Bello who wants us, YOUR CHILDREN to remain willing tools and slaves of Fulani. May God punish you for eternity if you do not now use the remainder of your life to help us take down this 1999 Constitution and to Separate from Arewa.

Politics / UK Group Raises Alarm Over "Genocide On Christians In Nigeria" by meavox: 7:37am On Jun 19, 2020
UNITED KINGDOM RAISES THE ALARM OVER GENOCIDE ON CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA
BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORK, JUNE 18, 2020
________________________________________

The United Kingdom All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief, a group of over 100 British parliamentarians from different political parties and from both Houses of Parliament, has condemned the genocide of Christians in Nigeria.

The group also raised concerns on the escalating inter-communal violence in Nigeria characterised by the farmer-herder conflict, a clash that has claimed the lives of thousands of people and displaced hundreds of thousands more.

The APPG noted that the unchecked killings and displacements have caused untold human and economic devastation and heightened existing ethno-religious tensions. It stated that the response of the Nigerian Government to conflict involving farmers and herders had been inadequate or ineffective and that this had allowed violence to emerge and escalate.

Lamenting the killings of Christians by Boko Haram and herdsmen, Jim Shannon, MP Chair, All Party-Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief, described the act as archaic, saying “This widespread and tremendous difficulty is a somewhat novel experience for many of us in the UK”.

He added, “Shockingly for a Commonwealth country, Nigeria ranks 12th on Open Doors World Watch List 2020 of countries in which Christians are most persecuted. By comparison, Syria ranks 11th and Saudi Arabia ranks 13th, with Iraq 15th and Egypt 16th.

“As Nigerian Government ministers have publicly and rightly admitted, Christians are being ruthlessly targeted, specifically because of their faith.

"Undoubtedly though, peaceable Muslims, through collateral violence can also become victims of this cruel Islamist religious ideology.
“It is a destructive and divisive ideology which readily mutates into crimes against humanity and can pave the way for genocide. We must not hesitate in saying so.”

The APPG blamed Nigerian politicians for further fueling the attacks on Christian saying political actors are supporting the killings to further their own interests.

APPG posited that for peace to reign in Nigeria, there must be justice adding that to reduce conflict, it is vital to both improve security responses and ensure that perpetrators of violence are held accountable.

The group urged the Nigerian Government to investigate, arrest and prosecute those suspected of committing violence as part of this conflict and also investigate and prosecute members of security forces suspected of perpetrating human rights abuses or failing to protect communities.

The group also called for the establishment of state police to support national police and that traditional and community leaders, who encourage members of their communities to perpetrate violence are thoroughly, independently and impartially investigated.

Politics / 1999 Nigeria Constitution – Bin It To Rescue Nigeria By Ndidi Uwechue by meavox: 7:16am On Jun 19, 2020
1999 NIGERIA CONSTITUTION – BIN IT TO RESCUE NIGERIA
by Ndidi Uwechue
African News Today
16th June 2020

In the matter of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution the Nigerian way of doing things is unlikely to favour anybody. That is the way of BYPASSING problems, rather than facing them and dealing with them, once and for all.

The Constitution is the foundation of the country and so must be obtained in a proper way if citizens are to have confidence to honour it and abide by it. Disturbingly, the 1999 Constitution lacks validity. There are several things in it that are completely untrue and some that are contrary to what had been agreed pre-Independence for any Union of ethnic nationalities to ever be possible. Much has already been written about the inconsistencies in the 1999 Constitution but a key one is in the preamble that starts with, “We the people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria...”. Yet, “We the people” never entered into this agreement. That in itself makes the 1999 Constitution a FORGERY and therefore its contents are invalid and not binding.

On top of that, there is much evidence that a source of the high-handed destructive systemic corruption in the country is this 1999 Constitution. So as to put Nigeria in good order, plus counter the “fantastically corrupt” label that the country has, an Alternative Culture with the twin tenets of “doing the right thing” and “doing the right thing the right way” has been embarked upon.

It is therefore not advisable, for integrity’s sake, to continue avoiding addressing the dishonesty in our country’s social contract. Nigeria has now been on a journey of some twenty years on bypass problems road with this forged Constitution, but the time is now here to get onto the right road by as a nation, doing the right thing. Otherwise the cost would be much too high.

Those in leadership at Federal, State and Local levels, plus ordinary citizens should thoroughly consider the consequences of remaining on “bypass problems road”. We have a fast growing population of young people who know that their lives in the Nigerian environment are substandard in every way compared to that of young people in functioning countries. They know the reasons for this difference are corruption plus lack of strong institutions. They are also now aware of their civil rights and human rights. They are “woke”!

One of the many negative consequences of Nigeria being a country that citizens cannot put faith in, is that Nigerians are increasingly becoming economic migrants all over the world because of a Constitution that is in effect corrupting and anti-development, plus Apartheid (in that it unfairly favours a minority section over the indigenous majority). The issue of migrants is currently a hot topic in Europe because it creates racial tensions in host countries due to the changes in demography that mass migration can bring. International eyes are now on Nigeria seeking the reasons that force its citizens to flee, often illegally and dangerously. This reflects negatively on Nigerian leadership that should have been seriously addressing the corruption that the country is famed for.

On our Continent we have the example of Apartheid South Africa for our instruction. Black South Africans saw that they had no hope of a fair and good future in their land unless they resisted the Apartheid system that was against them. Initially their demonstrations were met with State violence from security services by a government intent on maintaining the status quo. Eventually a point was reached when all sides and the watching international community realised that costly armed conflict would likely ensue if Apartheid was not taken down because Black Africans were determined to make the ultimate sacrifice for their freedom. So negotiations began that successfully dismantled the Apartheid system.

With a population of over 200 million Nigerians and rapidly growing, it is not possible for all of us to flee abroad for refuge. Thousands who have fled across the Sahara have ended up in dehumanizing conditions and those among them who could, have returned to Nigeria where they still face a debased existence. Others who have not the means to flee, or who have been deported back to Nigeria, are uniting in purpose with those here, increasingly determined that they will remove everything that prevents them having a good life in their ancestral lands. Discontent and anger are growing daily. Nobody who values Nigerian lives would want there to be any armed struggle before transformative change happens.

It is repeatedly asked: Mandela was a lawyer and he used his knowledge to put South Africa on a better path. So what are Nigerian lawyers doing about the inaccuracies in the 1999 Constitution? Rev. Desmond Tutu is an Anglican cleric who used his position and his knowledge of God to advocate truth and justice in the anti-Apartheid fight. So what are Nigerian Christian leaders and Christian organisations, plus other religious bodies doing about upholding truth in the matter of the 1999 Constitution?

The nation’s eyes are now beamed on the 1999 Constitution which is submitted as the supreme law of the country. The increasing clamour to bin this forged document should not be ignored by the leadership class and bypassed via “constitutional amendments” when what is needed is an autochthonous Constitution that is truly by “We the people”, legitimized by Referendum.

Young people desperately want, and deserve good lives within the territory called Nigeria. The best way to remove the obstructions in their way is through non-violent action. That is through dialogue and negotiations with those in leadership positions. Non-violent strategies where leaders are responsive and responsible, with the moral and intellectual competence to understand that government’s purpose is to serve the people and bring about what the people want. The increasingly concerned world is watching events in Nigeria so this is an opportunity for government to show that Black lives matter, by doing the right thing, and doing the right thing the right way concerning the 1999 Constitution.

HERDSMEN: DEFEND YOURSELVES, OHANAEZE TELLS IGBO
By Sahara Reporters, June 18, 2020

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has condemned the menace of herdsmen in the southeast, especially with the recent killing of a 65-year-old farmer, Uzoemena Iriaka, in his farm in Umuekpu, Agwa, Oguta Council Area of Imo State.

The farmer was allegedly killed by suspected herdsmen. Ohanaeze Ndigbo, therefore, called on Igbo to defend themselves as the killing was becoming rampant.

Ohanaeze lamented that Ndigbo has been pushed to the wall by the rogue herdsmen who kill the people virtually daily in their homeland. “We have been pushed to the wall. We have no other option than to rise now, gird your loins and face the seemingly intractable insecurity,” the group says.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, in a statement by Emeka Attama, the media aide to the President General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, and Prince Uche Achi-Ogbaga, the publicity secretary of the Igbo apex body, condemned the killing.

They warned that Ndigbo would no longer watch while their people are being killed like animals in their farms and urged them to rise and protect themselves.

The statement read, “The rampant killing and raping of defenceless people in their homes and farms have made it imperative for people to take all measures possible to defend themselves from these hoodlums.

“Communities should organise themselves and fight back. It is unfortunate that the Federal Government stripped people of their means of self-defence without providing adequate protection for them or ensuring commensurate disarming in the North, especially among herdsmen.

“The Southeast states should expedite action on measures to give their subjects hope of protection from these marauders.

“People, villages and communities, especially Ndigbo, should rise to defend themselves individually and collectively from such marauding criminals more especially as they are said to be non-Nigerians.

“We just cannot continue to allow foreigners, who do not place any premium on the sanctity of human lives, to come into our homes to kill us like rats. Igbo people should stop the complaints forthwith.

“Guard and defend yourselves from senseless massacres. Cordon off your (track) roads to farms, streams and other places to avoid being taken unawares.

IS GENOCIDE HAPPENING IN NIGERIA AS THE WORLD TURNS A BLIND EYE?
Ewelina U. Ochab
Forbes News
June 15, 2020

In recent six years, the world has witnessed two clear cases of genocidal atrocities. The first occurred in Syria and Iraq, perpetrated by Daesh against religious minorities such as the Yazidis and Christians. The second took place in Myanmar, perpetrated by the Burmese military against the Rohingya Muslims and other religious minorities. Yet, there are evolving stations where mass atrocities may be occurring and that appear to be neglected. One such example is in Nigeria.

On November 18, 2010, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) opened a preliminary examination into the situation in Nigeria. The preliminary examination followed several communications received by the Office of the Prosecutor (the OTP) which suggested that mass atrocities had occurred, involving Boko Haram militants based in Nigeria. Having identified multiple issues which require closer scrutiny, the OTP named six potential cases where Boko Haram had committed crimes against humanity and two cases where such crimes were committed by the Nigerian security forces. The six cases include Boko Haram 1) targeting non-believers which resulted in several deaths; 2) kidnappings, abductions, and imprisonment of civilians, as associated with murder, torture and inhuman and degrading treatment; 3) attacks on schools, other buildings designated for education and attacks against students and teachers; 4) recruitment and use of child soldiers; 5) attacks on women and girls; 6) intentional targeting of buildings designated for religious practices, including churches and mosques.

Thousands have been affected by the litany of mass atrocities perpetrated by Boko Haram. However, among the staggering statistics, the fates of those suffering are lost. The fate of people like Leah Sharibu get lost among the suffering of thousands of people.
Leah Sharibu, a 15-year-old Nigerian girl, was one of the 110 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram from their school in Dapchi, Nigeria, in February 2018. Despite the fact that most of the girls have now been released, Boko Haram refused to let Leah go. According to one of the other girls, Leah declined to renounce her Christian faith. This is the reason Boko Haram continues to enslave her. Attacking women and girls is a signature tactic of Boko Haram. Boko Haram subjects women and girls to physical and mental abuse, rape and sexual violence, forced labor and much more. However, among its atrocities, those that are of a religious nature are significant too and cannot be neglected.

Nonetheless, the atrocities perpetrated by Boko Haram are not the only mass atrocities in Nigeria that require urgent attention.
Indeed, on June 15, 2020, the U.K. All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief (APPG), a cross-party group of parliamentarians representing both houses of the U.K. Parliament, released a report about the mass atrocities perpetrated in Nigeria by the Fulani militia. As the report “Nigeria: Unfolding Genocide?” notes: “The exact death toll is unknown. However, thousands of civilians are thought to have been killed in attacks led by Fulani herders and periodic retaliatory violence. Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust report that over 1,000 Christians were killed between January-November 2019, “in addition to the estimated 6,000+ deaths since 2015.” Amnesty International estimate that between January 2016 and October 2018 “at least 3,641 people may have been killed, 406 injured [and] 5,000 houses burnt down. Local groups, such as the Christian Association of Nigeria, report higher figures: between January and June 2018, over 6,000 people were killed by Fulani herders.”

Fulani militia continue to perpetrate mass atrocities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt. Their crimes continue to go unreported. This is why earlier this year, Lord Alton of Liverpool, Baroness Cox, Fiona Bruce MP and many other British Parliamentarians wrote to the ICC sending further evidence of the atrocities for the OTP’s consideration. At this stage it is not clear whether the cases will be considered by the ICC. However, it is clear that the Nigerian Government will not address the crime adequately or at all. Indeed, according to a statement by President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, the “false allegations of persecution of Christians” are “a most misleading campaign.” If the Nigerian Government is blind to the issue of religious persecution in the country, it is clear that the issue will not be addressed. However, the international community cannot be blind to the reports of atrocities and must ask important questions. How will the Nigerian Government explain the mass killings in Nigeria as recorded by several international organizations? What is the Nigerian Government doing to ensure that the acts are investigated and the perpetrators prosecuted?

There are several steps that need to be taken to address the atrocities and the APPG’s report maps these, including comprehensive investigations and prosecutions. However, the comprehensive response will not happen until we recognize, once and for all, the nature and severity of the atrocities. The crimes must be recognized for what they are and “a most misleading campaign” is not that name.
